hi spiker,it was in one of the concessions shops in selfridges oxford street from memory! the girl was really helpful while i was there,so highly recommended.

hi spiker,they are nice 'looking' boots,i bought a pair as well but although they seemed to be ok when i tried them in the shop they are not that comfortable after a while,which is really disappointing for such a nice looking pair of boots,think mine need a new home!

How about these,more boot than sandal,they are one of my favourites and are really,really comfortable. Got them in purple suede and leopard print ponyskin as well.

yep liking her style!!!! now no more talking politics and mudslinging this is a shoe zone only!!!!!...........but on a political rant looks like all our shoe budgets will be reduced to assist the country pay off its deficite,thanks to our wonderfully run government and it looks like there may be a winter (or summer!) of discontent...boooooo.......down with that sorta thing (aka now going into father ted mode...god that show made me laugh...and yet again the subject changes) carry on all i am now going to sleep!

Recently i have been having a major sort out of my shoe collection and something sort of dawned on me about my collection and perception of a high heel. I found or was reunited with! my first ever heels i bought 27 years ago via a catalogue and i can remember thinking how high they were and the amount of practice i did in them. when i compare them to todays styles they really look very boring!! and not really high at all at 3'',i still wonder why they seemed so high when i bought them and the same goes for the rest of my early days of collection. Now my fav height over a period of experimenting is 5'' and the styles generally seem to be much more alluring ie kurt geiger and topshop do some really cool designs with heels to match. I think part of it may be due to the speed in which the designs in the shops turn around and are never to been seen again,a prime example being topshop. what do you think?

Apparently Offerssupermarket.co.uk has compiled a list of the weirdest search requests,at number 7 is a pic of a 'mountie' policeman in high heels where people supposedly searched Men’s high heeled shoes, wonder why they thought it weird....search me.......

faith shopping trip in oxford st? i can do tues or wens evening this week,tuesday ideal day!

I went to my local faith today and got a couple of pairs i had kept my eye on for a while before my size goes,had a chat with the staff who are noe resigned to job hunting again......not good news for young workers again.......but it looks like they are on the way out.

well i have now found out that the 'shop' is'nt a shop just a warehouse...pity...and they are only open monday to friday 10 til 5pm,but they lady i spoke to said there would be no problem to visit and try any shoes on providing they could get the ones i wanted from the warehouse...still ..might be worth a trip as meadowhall isnt too far from here.

Tech that's exactly what I'm planning to do! Hopefully they do have a shop area,will post back with my findings! They have some cool shoes I'm after.
