  1. hi misterd73 well five years ago i wouldnt have even opened the front door in heels,as yet i havent done stilletos but do go out in wedge heels and chunky heels mainly 3 or 4 inches, because as of yesterdays example! my legs ached like hell from 4hours of walking up and down oxfoed st! great fun but boy talk about needing some practice. My advice is start simple if your not confident..comfortable styles and build from there..it is very different from heeling indoors to heeling outdoors, especially going up or down a hill as wimbledon where i live is full of them!! BUT do it..its great fun and very liberating ,you only live the once so go out and enjoy!! A tip ! pick a nice neighbourhood around dusk for starters!!

  2. jwhite44 yep can walk in them, but dont think i'll be doing an out door stroll as they are way tooooo nice! oh yes they are very comfortable, they support the foot very well Bubba136 you wont believe what they cost! got them on ebay, they were 'samples' and are in perfect condtion but as so dont come with a bag or box  but i'll think i will get over it for £180.00! talk about lucky!!!!

  3. problem is the torn area takes alot of pressure when you slide your foot in,the only way i can wear them at the moment is to put a plastic bag in the boot, put it on and then pull the bag out, when i come to take them of it takes a while to wriggle out! also i cannot slide the shaft of the boot down that far,the material is'nt so forgiving so cannot be sewn thanks anyhow

  4. Iwearheels you seem to be leading a double life as do and have most of us that post here! you are certainly not alone on this matter and there is no shame in feeling how you do..but keep reading here on the forum especially some old posts for some insight and hopefully in time things may work out some guys have been lucky, some not so,some doomed! as i feel!!!...but life will take its twists and turns I have changed numerous things over the years so i do have at least some 'me' time or else i'd go nuts....the most important being self employed as an example and in the future some short breaks! and have confided in a close female friend who thinks its odd but cool! but most importantly and really only in the last couple of years i have accepted myself for who i am...and taking pigeon steps with those around me. I want to enjoy my life while i am still healthy and HEELING is healthy to me!!!

  5. Thought i'd start this off. Good: A very good year for me personally reasons: 1.more confident heeling in public (but not totally there yet!) 2.managed to buy some fantastic heels this year that i have coveted for a while ie louboutins and viv westwood 3.went to my first heel meet 4.Am starting to realise that few people give a crap what you are wearing! Bad: 1.left foot gives me some serious pain when heeling (and in flats) but not always..cant work out what sets it off yet 2.wife still not accepting me for who i am (work in progress!)

  6. "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time" enough said really. I think this forum is great, its free and we get to chat on some great topics. Admin HAVE to make decisions so read the above again,i wouldnt want to deal with it,so i'm glad somebody puts the time and effort in for 'zilch' to GENERALLY keep us all happy.

  7. yep seen it somewhere to 1.heelD its LOUBOUTIN 2. ITS A VERY SAD IDEA 3.Bubba136,yep much more serious issues to be discussed, but you could open another thread? think this is a light hearted view on human behaviour 4.Stilettoscot,love the carp, hope you put him back! 5.PatentHeel and secondtake20 think your right, its already done the rounds

  8. Well just a little update the experiment is still going well ish..except for a time working with a male colleague i decided to forego the heels as he knows my family well (wife disapproves we all know the drill!) but while out for beers have been wearing my 'flat',but stylish uggs i may add! and have seen him trying to see what they are! no comments,no surprise as even though they are womens i regard as unisex, maybe ugg should do some rethinking on this. Anyway, have now worn my 4'' chunky heeled gucci boots (i got from e) several times working with no comment, except one elderly client who thought i'd grown!....haha...doesnt miss a trick that one! problem is they are soooo comfortable i have nearly worn them home twice, which would get me in some serious troub! Ah another thing lofts and heels...no good either!!..no surprises there then! thanks for all the feed back people

  9. thanks people for the ideas not worn super tight skinnys in public, nor any exposed knee high boots,so wanted to try it out and see any reaction as you dont see guys doing this style..unless its wellies! jumper idea might work as i dont really have any shirts! i do have a brown hoodie top that is basically a jacket with fur in the hood.... zip up front and pockets..what do you think?
