  1. I am off for a few days break in bristol next week and as there are a few 'locals' here wondered if there are any other shoe shops apart from the general shoe shops that might be worth a visit while i'm there, bath might also get squeezed in as well!

  2. I read this a few weeks back, all good news as far as i'm concerned! 'Other major style trends noted by the group are shearling boots (50% increase on last year's sales), red shoes and lace-detailed shoes, both doubling their sales sales compared with the same period in 2009. Its highest heels this season are a precarious 140mm, retailing for about £140. Next season, seventies-inspired wedge shoes will have heels up to 160mm' love shearling styles and 160mm heels for next year, happy days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I have seen guys in heels a few times now,at the chelsea flower show,in bristol a few months back but just recently a guy in tescos new malden. You couldnt have missed him even before the heels were in sight! he was tanned with a shaved head and light make on,with a leather jacket.I noticed so many people were checking him out but didnt hear one comment apart from a few brain deads whispering to each other, but he looked like he didnt have a care in the world!

pussyinboots, you are correct on this matter, the reason i put these up for comparison is because although the miss kg are a lot cheaper this particular style is amazingly comfortable which is not very common for cheaper ranges,i have worn these for over 10hrs straight with no issues at all,so much so that i have got a second pair in a different colour.

While i agree quality wise you get what you pay for i think these have got to be the best vfm in my opinion and i have many pairs of designer styles to make comparisons with, these generally i can wear for long periods as well, but to date the kg's are surpassing all my expectations for a cheaper brand.

The only 'negative' for me is the usual gripe with sizing, generally i am a 40 in most shoes but these come up smaller and a 41 is spot on.

Admittedly the ysl's may last alot longer and the quality better,i can see no real justification, especially in these 'austere' times to cough up £600!

oh and i nearly forgot, the black kg's were reduced to £42.00 when i got them back in march, why i dont know as they are now back to the usual £70 price tag.

Its a pity i cant say the same for all the cheaper brands! as histilleto put it

' Most of the heels today should be thrown away, if it were up to me'

but only if i could afford replace them with qulity ones! lol
