I appreciate the fact that my wife is ok with my heeling. I would never tell her not to wear something or do something, but I always take her opinion into my consideration with my heeling. Happy Heeling, bluejay

All are nice looks on you, SleekHeels, My favorites are # 1 and #3. Post more pics when you get a chance, thanks for pics! Happy Heeling, bluejay

Heel noise used to bother me too, on my heels, but I have come to accept that if my heels make noise, I can handle that. Sometimes it depends on the style of heels I am wearing. I have some tapered stacked heels that make more noise than stilettos and vice-versa. I am not really trying to hide my heels like some of the male heelers, here. I like people to see that I am wearing heels and I am very confident about that fact, that "I LOVE TO WEAR HEELS". Happy Heeling, bluejay

Shafted, Thanks for your compliment about my legs. My wife always says that my legs look nicer than hers, but her's look good to me. I also have been complimented on my legs from the girl that does my pedi for me at the nail shop. She says that my legs are as nice and soft as many women. I really took that as a great compliment.Nice legs bluejay! The boots would be better with less form fitting pant such as trousers. The shaft of the boot looks enormous compared to your leg. IMO, they look out of balance. If the boot shaft wasn't so large, I'd like this look.
As far as the boots go, yes they may look a bit big above my slender ankles, but I have been complimented that they look nice on me by many women who have seen me wearing them. The women at Kay's liked my look and I will be back there tonight to check out another repair for my wife and I plan to wear my Nine West booties with my new Hue denim Jeggings, which I got yesterday, so I will ask the women what they think and mention your comment to them. I also went to DSW shoe and looked at a size 8 in that same style of Nine West bootie (Style # 7Riffle), measured the circumference at the top and it was 1/2" shorter than my size 11. A sales clerk, working there put on the size 8 (She was wearing a long skirt) and the look was the same on her as on me. She said that's the style of that boot and that look is ok with her. I thanked her for the opinion. I am happy with the look too.
SleekHeels, as far as wearing leg warmers with those boots, I really don't like the look of leg warmers on women, so I know that I won't like that look on me either.
Shafted and SleekHeels, thanks for your comments, I appreciate them! I am awaiting a new pair of Nine West Knee boots today (ScapeGoat is the model name). I will post some pics of them with my shinny leggings to see how they look. I have a pair of Nine West Stiletto heel knee boots that are also wide at the top of the shaft on me. I hope the new Nine West boots will have a flattering look on my legs.

If a Craftsman tool breaks, you take it back for a new one. I have broken many Sears (Craftsman) tools over the years and yes I did add a pipe to a breaker bar for added leverage, broke it (1/2" drive too) took it back to Sears, got a new one, no questions asked. My father-in-law who was a truck mechanic for over 60 years swore by Craftsman tools. When they broke, took them to Sears and got new ones. I have some of their power tools, now their newer ones are junk but any one that is over 25 years old was well built by today's standards. I guess this has gone of the topic of heeling, but that's my .02 worth. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I too, did not like wedge heels until I bought a pair of wedge heel sandals from Sears, last May. They were white with criss cross bands. They were so comfortable to wear and I did wear them often last summer with capris. They had a thing wedge heel about 3". I also bought a pair of Naturalizer wedge heel sandals in black that I also like very much and did wear a lot too. They have a 3 1/2" thin wedge heel. Both pair of wedge heels have brought me compliments too. I have never worn closed toe wedge heels or wedge heel boots, but I guess that time could come too! Happy Heeling, bluejay

Hi Everyone, It's been awhile since I posted a heeling event, although I heel out and about regularly. Tonight, I pushed the envelope a bit. I had to go to Kay Jewelers to pick up a repair. I wore black shinny leggings, 1/4 zip Izod fleece in off white, my fairly new Nine West booties with a 4" oval heel and black thigh-hi hose. Because it was cold out I added my heavy weight leather jacket and added a "Big Apple" leather newsboy hat on my head. I looked in the mirror and liked the look. As I entered Kay's all eyes were on me. I was greeted warmly by all the staff. Two young women clerks (20's) and a male clerk (late 40's) welcomed me and asked how he could help me. I told him that I was here to pick up a repair. One of the women clerks went to get it for me. The other two clerks came out from behind the counter to take a closer look at what I was wearing. Everyone that works at Kay's, knows that I like to wear heels. They both commented that they liked my look tonight, especially my shinny leggings and heeled booties. The other clerk returned with my repair and she said "you look hot tonight". I thanked her for the comment and as usual we started discussing heels. Both women clerks were in heels.one had a pair of of 4" black stiletto pumps and the other had a pair of black wedge 3" heels. I told them that I liked their heels and they both looked very nice. At that point the male clerk said "what about my shoes". I said they were nice. He was wearing a cuban heel type of boot. I know that he wears heels too, but not in the store as per rules of the company. The store manager is ok with men wearing heels, but company rules prevail. After a nice 10-15 minute discussion of heeling and fashion, it was time to go. Before I left the male clerk asked about HHP. I told him about our site some time ago and he misplaced the information. This time he wrote it down. He also said that he knows two other male heelers in the area, but they are closet heelers. I told him that we all should get together some time, to discuss heels and to wear them. He said that I would be an inspiration to them, because I am able to wear heels so openly. I thanked him for that compliment and told him that the more you wear heels the more comfortable it becomes to wear them. I thoroughly enjoyed myself out heeling tonight. You never know when you might meet up with another heeler! I am including a couple of pics of what I wore tonight, minus my leather jacket and cap. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Hi Debbie,Thanks bluejay! Posting the pics has been fun and I really appreciate the responses. My wish list includes a pair of Christian Louboutin "Bianca" pumps in nude patent, but right now that's on the back burner. So I saw these shoes in a Nine West store window and decided to go for it! They look really nice and I saved $700! (But I still want the Bianca!) I like Nine West too because they offer me decent value for everyday work shoes, reasonable comfort and their sizing is consistent for the most part. Have fun in your booties!! Let's see a pic in the leggings!!
Just uploaded a few pics to my computer. I hope they post ok.

Those boots look great on you! I also like the shinny leggings that you are wearing too. That is a combination that I like to wear too. At first I was not thrilled about wearing platforms. But now after buying a couple pairs of pumps, a pair of booties and a, pair of knee boots all with platforms I like the look. I still don't like the look of the 2" or higher platforms. Mine are all 1 1/2" or less as opposed to the 2-3" platforms out there, that some women are wearing. So offtopic-ish question. What constitutes a "platform" that is too high? I'll use metric for our non-americans, 1cm+? 2cm?
In a way every shoe has some platform, the sole takes up at least some non-significant portion of height. I just gather that there seems to be an overtone of hatred for extra "sole" (pun intended) on the shoe.
I personally don't think much of up to about 3cm, past that and walking becomes more... interesting. Under and there isn't a whole lot of difference to gait. So whats the rub all you platform haters?
We all have different tastes in heels, that's why such a variety is out there for us to choose from.

Glad that you enjoyed yourself out heeling. The more you heel out, the more comfortable it becomes for you. Take it from someone that has been public heeling for many years now. I also get compliments from women all the time while wearing heels. I dress very fashionable all the time I am out heeling. That gives me a great feeling and I always present myself to the public as a fashion forward male that likes to wear heels too! My wife is ok with my heeling and we even have some matching pairs of heels that we wear out together. I am glad your future wife supports your heeling too. Enjoy yourself.Well you guys I will start from the begining. In the past I would make the attempt to go walk inside the mall with my heels on either to just to grab something to eat or something but then I would chicken out fo some reason. Friday I threw all that out the window. I went to the mall wearing a blue t-shirt, aeropostale blue jeans, and Jeffery Campbell Lita boots to pick up my fiancee's engagement ring. I took a deep breath stepped out the car and started walking. My nerves started getting to me but each stride started to get more and more confident. It felt so good looking at my reflection from the glass windows of the stores I was walking by. I went and picked up the ring walked back to the food court to grab something to eat. As I was standing in line a woman (black) said that she liked my shoes. I said thanks. She asked me if I would raise my pants leg up so she could see and so I did and she was surprised and smiled. So after picking up my food I wished the lady to have a good day and she said the same to me and I was on my way. As I walked to my car I felt a very high sense of accomplishment. I think what drove me is that my fiance has always been there for me and supported me as far as the heels ordeal and everything else and it just felt like that was all I need. Plus reading the threads that you all have left gave me the extra boost to be confident in myself to show that I can be masculine and wear sexy shoes so thanks. Here is the photo hope you guys like it.

Red is my favorite color too. I had my pedi done the week before Christmas. I like Sally Hanson polish and the name is "Rapid Red", which I bring to the nail salon each time I get a pedi. I have the same woman nail tech each time and she has no problem with the fact that I am a man and that I always wear heels to get my pedi!I went in for a pedicure in San Fran and the receptionist asked me to pick out a color and we spent about 10 minutes looking at different colors and talking about what to pick it was soo much fun!

Debbie,Today has been hectic and this is the first chance I've had to post a pic of what I'm wearing today! My DH took this photo as I was leaving home this morning.
So here it is....a platform pump in nude patent leather from Nine West. The platform is about 1 inch and the heel is 5 inches. He says they are HOT!
Hope you like them as much as he does!
Those Nine West platform pumps look fab on you. Thanks for posting the pics. I also like Nine West too. Just bought a pair of Nine West booties with a 5" oval heel and 3/4" platform. They are very comfortable to wear and have had a couple of compliments from women. I recently wore them with shinny leggings and had a couple of stares too!

DebbieNC, That's a very classic look on you. You look fab in the jeans and basic pumps. I like to wear that look too. I like to wear a slightly cropped jean, about 2-3" above my ankle so that my heels are visible. I did that just recently before Christmas when I went for my pedicure, wearing open toe Born black suede mules. Luckily the pavement was dry and I didn't have to contend with ice and snow, as I didn't want to ruin my new pedi wearing closed toe heels. Even the salon tech complimented on my look. I did get a few stares from the other ladies in the salon, but I just walked proudly in my heels in and out that morning. It's Friday and that means a more relaxed wardrobe! Today, I decided to mix it up a little and wear a pair of heels with my jeans. We're going out after work to meet some friends for dinner so I wanted to be casual but still dressy! There's just something about heels and jeans that always seems to capture my co-workers attention!
Happy Friday!!

JeffB, I liked your look with the sweater and the leggings. I just bought a 1/4 zip fleece in off white and a bright yellow long sleeve polo shirt at a great discounted price from the Izod outlet store this past week. Izod shirts and fleece are much longer in length than other brands. They cover the back and fronts of myself when wearing leggings. It's about the same length on me as the picture of you in the sweater and the leggings. I looked in the mirror and liked the look too, Unfortunately it may not work for you since you are over 6' tall and I am about 5'11". But give it a look. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I agree with wearing jeans tucked inside boots, whether they are flat or heeled the look is catching on for men. I am wearing my boots that way more and more these days. I am starting to see that look on men in my area more and more. Back in early December I saw two men wearing their jeans tucked inside their boots at church. As I don't wear jeans to church but heeled boots and heeled shoes with dress pants, tucking one's dress pants into boots just doesn't look right. I have even worn tights, jeggings and shiny leggings inside my boots, maybe some stares but no negative comments at all! Happy heeling, bluejay

I too wore heels to a New Year's Eve party at our friends house. I wore my Payless black loafer pump/slip-on's with a 3 1/2" big block heel with a 3/4" platform. I also wore leather dress pants, with a purple silky shirt and a dress leather vest. I got several compliments on my look too. We were seated around a basement bar and a friend of mine's wife rubbed her foot on my leg and whispered in my ear, " I love your leather". My wife was seated next to me on the other side and she was also wearing her tight leather jeans with a silver glittery top and her Aerosoles 3" heeled booties. Had a great time at the party! Happy New Year to all. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Those are nice looking boots for every day wear. A nice sturdy heel for winter time wearing. I have a pair of Frye men's boots with very similar heels, like yours. I also wear them out when I need a sturdier heel to walk in ice and snow. I also like to tuck my jeans inside my boots too. In my area I am starting to see more men wearing their jeans tucked inside their boots too. I am glad that this is catching on for men, so that when I wear my women's heeled boots, I don't look out of place! Happy Heeling, bluejay
-
I agree it's a very casual look. The jeans tucked inside your boots is ok. I see that same bunching at the top of the boot on lots of women too. You can't always wear skinny jeans or leggings. Make the best of what you're wearing, because you are wearing heels and that's what it's all about anyway!!! Happy Heeling, bluejay

Great story TXGuy. I was in the Nine West outlet store on Wednesday, night . I saw a pair of brown suede loafer pumps that I liked, but like you the biggest size was a 10 and I wear 11, so I had to pass. The sales clerk was very helpful. She checked Nine West on-line inventory but no size 11. They would of been a great buy at $14.99 from the $89.00 original price. I tried on a couple of other pairs but nothing said buy me and take me home. As I walked out the store she commented on how well I walk in heels, to which I replied that I wear heels a lot and have several pairs of Nine West heeled shoes and boots that I wear often. I also told her that my wife was ok with it too! She didn't seem to be at all surprised by my remarks. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I wear pumps with a suit to church with no ill effects at all. I often get compliments on my look from both women and men I also wear knee boots with a suit too. I even wear red color boots and black patent leather heels and boots too. I enjoy wearing heels and I wear them proudly even to church! When I play my guitar at church, I actually prefer to wear heels, though for now it is just HH cowboy boots. Singing is easier, and foot switches are a little easier. But would really prefer pumps for the same reason of the switches, but in today's society, my boots are accepted, but pumps would definitely not be....

What I Am Wearing Today
in For Everybody
Posted
This is what I wore yesterday." Born" western style boots with a 3" tapered stacked heel, black trouser socks, MetroStyle straight leg jeans, black Izod polo shirt and black leather jacket. Today, I am wearing my Red Wing work boots driving one of my snowplows clearing last night's snowfall, but tonight I'll be wearing some type of heels out! Check out the polish on my little pinkie in pics. It matches my wife's new mani and she likes it! (Purple) Happy Heeling, bluejay
