Giege , I would wear those flat heel boots as I did wear a pair of mine on New Year's Eve on a shopping trip with my wife. We were having heavy snow falling at the time so my heeled boots were definitely out of the question. Mine were just a plain riding boot with 1" heels and no ornamentation like yours, however I would wear a pair like yours in a heartbeat! Happy New Year

Just to let everyone know that I had to go out on Christmas Eve to do some last minute shopping. I wore my Land's End , green with white stripes rugby dress which goes to just above my knee, with white tights, red patent knee boots with 3-1/2" chunky heels and a red puffer jacket. Got a couple of compliments, even from a guy on my ensemble. Great day to be out in a dress and heeled boots in a Holiday festive color scheme.
Merry Christmas to all my fellow heelers!

I too love wearing both my leather pants and leather leggings. I even have a leather mini dress and leather skort that I wear in warmer weather. I love the look and feel of leather real or imitation.

Yesterday, I went to my nail salon to get my Christmas mani. I got the usual clear/pink gel on my hands with designs on my little pinkies. On my left pinkie I got red and white stripes for a candy cane. My right pinkie a white base with a green Christmas tree with colored ornaments and a gold star on top. Incidentally I wore a green sweatshirt dress, with black tights and my red patent knee boots. My nail tech liked my ensemble I wore very much.

Bluejay,
Looked at the link and those boots look both cumfy and sturdy. Think they would go well with jeans, skirt or a dress. Don’t have as many boots as some here but live the ones I do have. HinH
HiH, I'm going to wear those boots with a a grey sweater dress and black tights.

Last week, I was in The Netherlands to celebrate a milestone birthday for my wife. We went to dinner on the evening of her special day and for the occasion, she selected an intimate setting about 2kms from our residence. Given that the notoriously unpredictable Dutch weather was cooperating (No rain, non-hurricane force winds, and mild temperatures) we decided to ride our bikes to the restaurant. My outfit for the evening consisted of a pair of just delivered, custom made, black leather, high-heel knee boots from Noe, my favorite brand, which just happens to be based in The Netherlands. They feature 4.25" heel with a .5" platform and ~14" top circumference. Simply put, they are "to die for" gorgeous! Pair with a very "flirty" grey skirt and black top, it was a beautiful outfit if I do say so!
If anyone has ever biked in The Netherlands, they would know that doing so can be a challenge in its own right. Doing so in heels, however, adds a new level of difficulty. Admittedly, the ride to/from dinner had to be done carefully so that I did not damage the heels if the ball of the foot area slipped off the pedals, or I had to come to a sudden stop. The sole of the boots is not rubber such as that found on a pair of trainers, so their slipping off the pedals was somewhat of a frequent occurrence. Fortunately, I made it to and from dinner with no damage to the boots. And I loved being seen wearing my new boots!
Love your ensemble. Your new boots look great on you. The fit is perfect on you, another guy that has thin calves like myself. That's an ensemble that I would definitely wear. BTW. Happy Birthday to your wife.

I just bought a sweater dress from Land's End. I like it very much. The hemline goes to just above my knee. It's a perfect fit with a pair of brown tights and a pair of my brown, Steve Madden knee boots with a 3-1/2" block heels. I'il put a link to my new dress from Land's Endhttps://www.landsend.com/products/womens-cotton-blend-cable-crew-neck-sweater-dress/id_391327?attributes=44967,19337

I just got these new big block heel boots in a burgundy color . The heel measures 4-3/4" with a i" platform. In my size 11 it's a very steep heel as Mirose would put it. Haven't got to wear them out yet, just too much snow here. Third snowstorm here in the last 5 days but warmer temps are on the way for Thursday. Going to get to 50 degrees F Wow!. I added a link to my new boots.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7GXMPYJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1

@mlroseplant That's the beginner's mistake I also made. Trying them on, thinking they fit perfectly, just to realize afterwards that the heel slips out of them while walking. This often happened after a while of breaking them in.
I looked up the Steve Madden Daisie and Klory. They really look similar to the Louboutin Models. I think the height looks nice on them. More suitable for everyday wear than the Louboutin 120's, but not as "low" as the respective Louboutin 100 models.
Oh, that's a different story. Not as fun as if you would have been captured practicing in heels.
@Shyheels I think of that more as an advantage than disadvantage. My feet are also more on the narrow side and most pumps fit me well.
@bluejay I'm the total opposite, almost all my pumps are stilettos 😀
Do you prefer block heels for the look or walking experience?
Higherheels, for both those reasons. My wife does not like me wearing stilettos. She says too feminine looking but she's ok with block or stacked heels.

I like to wear pumps. They fit me fine however I do not wear any heel size over 4" and they have to be chunky or stacked heels. No stilettos at all!

Happy... His there. Nice pics!! I like wedgies too, cute look. Have a few pair that I wear from time to time. But I keep the heel heist to less than 3 inches, I'm too tall already.
Take care..... Nice to see you back. SF. I like to wear wedges, too, only in sandals in the summer. No wedge heel boots here for me"

Couple of days ago, I had to go to Home Depot to get a tube of concrete adhesive. I decided that I would wear my Buffalo Bills sweatshirt dress by Erin Rogers. It was a bit cold outside so I added a royal blue puffer vest. With that I wore my white knee boots with a 4" stacked heel and carried my Buffalo Bills cross body bag. As I approached the entrance, a woman on her way out said to me " I love those boots you're wearing". I replied so do I, thank-you for your compliment. Another great comment for a guy in heels!

HIH, I didn't attend a Halloween event in heels but I did wear my orange heeled knee boots when I went to my salon last week for my Halloween manicure, which I reported on in the general fashion section. With the boots I wore a black skort, orange top and also was wearing black fishnet hose.

Yesterday, I went to my nail salon to get a new mani for Halloween. I got my regular clear/pink gel on my fingers with some nail art on my little pinkies. On my left pinkie I got a black base, with an orange jack-o-lantern . On my right pinkie, orange base with a white ghost on it. A great job again by my manicist. Incidentally, I was wearing a black skort, orange tee with a jack-o-lantern print, orange fleece too. Also, I was wearing black fishnet hose with my orange patent knee boots. This made for some nice compliments from other customers in the salon, including my manicist.

I drive in heels all the time. No problem with that. Since I normally do not wear stilettos but block or stacked heels, it doesn't present a problem with me. Yesterday for example I wore a pair of small 3-1/2 " block heel , loafer pumps to church, then went out in the afternoon wearing a pair of black knee boots with 3-1/2" stacked heels. a pink skort above the knee, with a black polo shirt with a pink Breast Cancer Awareness logo on it. Got a couple compliments on my ensemble while I was out doing some Sunday shopping.

At the salon that I go to my nail tech tells me that she has over 20 male customers that get pedicures. Most get a clear gel but like myself there are 9 other men customers that get color on their toes, some red like me, some pink, one in purple and two in black.
I remember several years ago when there was three other men that hand colored toes. We were shopping in a Walmart. One of the women with one of the men took a picture of all four of us showing off our colored pedi's. She said she was going to post it online but I never saw it. So Crushed Vamp you can wear a color on your toes. There are a lot of men doing it.

Just got my October pedi and mani, a couple days ago. On my toes I got hot pink color for Breast Cancer Awareness which I get every year in October. Otherwise it's bright red the other months.
On my hands my usual clear/pink gel, with the right pinkie a white base and a pink Breast Cancer Awareness logo and the left pinkie with a pink base and a white Breast Cancer Awareness logo on it. Got some compliments on both my pedi and mani from other women at the salon. Incidentally, because it was a cold rainy day,, I wasn't able to wear my usual skort. I wore a pair of white capri jeans, with a pink polo shirt with a white Breast Cancer logo on it. I did wear my Nine West "Gemily" sandal slides in hot pink color. My nail tech liked my ensemble especially my heels . She said that they showed off my new pedi to a T.

Cat, I love that royal blue ensemble. That's a favorite color of mine. Last Sunday I wore a white short skort with a royal blue sequin top and my royal blue, patent knee boots. Got several compliments on my ensemble. Even two ladies complimented me on my boots.

I always have color on my toes and fingers. My toes are always in red except for October when they get colored hot pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month, while my fingers are always in pink/clear gel with the little pinkies in a color or design particular to the time of the year. Right now my left pinkie is in silver sparkle and my right pinkie is in gold sparkle.
Got compliments this morning on both my mani and pedi both at church and my usual Sunday morning shopping. BTW closed toe red pumps at church, open toe double band, red sandals for my shopping trip. I also was wearing white capris with a red, white and blue top for the Labor Day holiday. I got compliments on my ensemble too!!!!

Mirose, I don't wear my skorts to church. Shorts are not allowed for us ushers, so it's long pants but heels are a different case!

I agree with you Gige. I always match my heels to the color of the top I'm wearing and then my skorts, slacks or leggings are just a compliment to them.
