Love wearing my JS boots.  Went to the hardware store and Post Office during a break.  Oh the looks I got today from jealous women, were just "to die for"....lol

That's the best part of being a full-time high heel wearer. Wearing high heels is my normal.

With working from home I'm not in high heels walking as much as I need to me.  With so much more extra work I now have to do via the internet, I sit too much.

After a week of "vacation", I'm back in my studio in Jessica Simpson knee high stiletto suede boots today.  

Sorry, I only go back to Fortran cards of the early 70's.

But do you remember ANSI and Machine codes.  I had a glorified calculator at work in the 70's that I had to program with dip switches, only one in our division who could.  We processed our data from planetary probes through that machine and another one that used paper tape to program,. And then there's 8080 architecture.

I wear a lot of open toe heels in the summer so my toes are always on display. I feel keeping your toes in respectable condition is a must. You know people are going to be looking at your heels and as a result your toes.  You need to keep them nice.

Here's my basic clean tool kit when I have to do my own.toes nails. Not shown is my tube to soak my feet. I also have a nail scrub brush, a very good thing to have. It's something you should be doing in addition to washing your hands.  Since I usually have colored nails, I have foil, cotton, and acetone remover as well.

As to why I color my toes.  Simple: I WANT TO.  I always liked it and 10+ years ago I gave myself permission to.

I have several acrylic fingernails, built from powder.  I have destroyed the nails root bed on these nails in such a way that I need the acrylic to hold the nails together.  I got tried of having different looking nails and started to color these as well. And with extreme fingernails no one notices the extreme heels.

Thanks for the suggestion @vector but unfortunately, I have a large volume toe box, very thick. I have NEVER tried on a pump that didn't hurt, and I mean painful!!!  I don't even try on pumps anymore.  But there are plenty of other heels for me because I am a woman's size 10 (11 in some).

FORTRAN is also used to run many, if not all, mathematical calculations.  Back then your code had to extremely efficient because memory was EXPENSIVE and limited. That's not the case in today's codes.

I remember I put 16 megs of RAM into a computer (when 1 meg was common) and told I'll never ever need that much RAM.  Now terabyte RAMs are common.

I'll play @mlroseplant game.  The new trend in men's pants is shorter.  I hope the trend does not go to capri length.  I have gone from 34 inch length to 32, 30 and even 28. The shorter are easier to wear inside my boots. But I also like being able to show my heels more.

The shoes are a bit too much for even me, and I like platforms. Part of the reason is from the angle of the photo. The shoe is in the forefront and that makes it look even larger.  Would I wear that outfit? NO, I have better fashion sense.
