  1. I'm looking at different jeans with these calf length boots from Madden Girl, about 6 years old.   I have worn out a brown pair and have this black pair and another NEW brown pair. Before I started to unhide my heels with skinny jeans I used to most wear them with boot cut long jeans. These black jeans are size 8 and reveal about 2 inches. I have others with a 34 inseam that reveal almost nothing. (I know its fuzz, that's the black on black effect.)  Wore these to the farmers market yesterday.

Now here's the same pair with my Levi's 311 with a 30 inch inseam. The ankle is tight on these boots so it pushes the pants  up at the back boot.

Next I try them with my shorter pans.  Looking for different looks.

Wore this to Costco (packed with mad rush to buy toilet paper) today.

One more look for @jeremy1986. Its getting cold here, in the low 50's, but I like to wear these wedges (Jeremy) because they are so comfortable and easy. So  I just ran some errands in this outfit. I know I am committing a fopaux with socks and open toe, but these are my "Party Socks" with my new Croc-Embossed Leggings and metallic turtleneck. And the mileage on these mules must be over 600 miles.

The risk is if most women wear flat shoes then  the few who still  wished to wear heels could feel out of fashion and weird.

About 3 years ago I had a woman who came up and told me "Thank You." She loved high heel (stiletto pumps) and she had yielded to peer pressure from other women and had stopped wearing them. But seeing me wear heels had given her the confidence to not yield to that pressure and she was back into her high heels.

  3. It's a very special skill to transverse a grate in thin heels, but especially in stilettos. You need to put your weight on your toes and none on your heels. Any weight on your heels can spell instantaneous complete disaster for you and your heel.

There is one parking spot (closest to my office) which has a grate right where your car door opens. I am very careful when I take that spot.

My latest booties addittion. They are real suede made by Sacha. I like them so much that I ordered the cognac coloured (smooth leather) ones as well, they have stacked heels. I usually really HATE brown shoes, but those I really like somehow. 😂

As you heeling adventures continue you will find colors of shoes in your closet that you might never thought you would own. I now have red, tan almond, dark brown, blue, turquoise, just to name a few. Soon you color  and stack heel aversion will disappear.  Enjoy the variety you are now encountering.

My lastest is my first OTK boots, 4.33 inch heels and a 22 inch shaft. Real leather..Nine West Kimy

  5. I have been looking for new heels for some time but haven't see anything I wanted. Well Jessica Simpson just reduced a pair of lace-up stilettos booties to FINAL SALE, so I got them.  You can NEVER have too many blue suede shoes.

Then Macy's had a 40% sale so I also got a pair of knee high Nine West leather boots with a 4.33 in heel.

    Photos when I get them.

  6. @Pumped you don't need to get stiletto nails when you get "fake nails".  But it is a commitment.  I have longer nails than average because of hand issues.

It's a function of how bad your nails are. My thumb nails split from the nail bed down. which is painful  I got it covered with acrylic for year, but got nail fungus at the same time the spas where forced to shut.  Cured it with UV light and it is almost grown out.  The thickening of the nail held the nail together, but as that is almost grown out I can see the ridge where it ready to split again.

The issue with acrylics is that they need to remove some of it to refill.  Some spas are too aggressive and remove some of the nail as well, thus thinning your nail.  My nail artist was going to switch me to another process, but the pandemic hit and she moved back to her home town.

  7. I rarely give my gender in my reviews.  I want the bonus points for my rewards cards and I know I wont get them if I include my gender, specially the review I just wrote this morning.  I also look at reviews and look at whether the it runs small or large. I have a large toe box and narrow heels.

  8. Was that your first time buying heels while in heels?  It's so much fun and you get better service since they know you really like heels. I've gotten "bolder" too since I got skinny pants and tuck them inside my knee high boots.  Had a guy at the farmer's market tell me liked my heels this morning....my errant mules.

  9. I have been looking at website like  Steve Madden. Jessica Simpson, and Aldo. Seen some decent size (4+ inch) heels, but I really would like to try them on first before putting down $100+. Waiting for knee high boots with full zippers from JS. Hopefully I wont be disappointed.

I just looked at Macy's online and they had 10 size 12 shoes with 4 inch heels.
