  1. The black pair are Charles By Charles David Apollo..look at their Affluent version also. Great wedges, very easy to walk in them for 12 hours. Had several compliments about them and the height. I have 6 pairs between the two versions. I think they are sold out.

  2. I have 4 to 5 pairs OVER the $200 mark.  But that doesn't mean I spend that much on each one of them.

I think the highest I spend was $170 for some FreeBird booties.  Love wearing those booties.

But here's how I do it. I have a $225 shoe in my shopping bag right now.

$225 wait for 35% off sale, new price: $146,

    $146, use $25 coupon, new price: $121,

$121 use "Gift Card Money" at 70% of face value

    Out-of-pocket cost $84.70

Of course this includes free shipping and double points, or about another $25 to spend on a future purchase...

At 4" there is too much weight on the balls of my feet and the padding I had there when I was younger is no longer sufficient for comfort.

Steve get your self some gel pads. I get mine at ALDO. A former ALDO manager told me about them and gave me a couple of pairs. Now almost every heel I have have cushion Gel instep pads.  Don't step out without them.

  4. To some here the act of buying and buying maybe addictive behavior. I started buying high heels over three years ago and have over 50 pairs, but I don't think I am addicted. I got to have a heel for every outfit.  :cheeky:

For me shoes never fitted so buying/wearing them was a chore. When I found in 2011 that I had women's shaped feet it all made sense and I started to purchase only women's shoes. And 4 inch heels in 2015.

I'm not addicted because I will only buy heels that fit perfectly, or duplicates of favorite shoes. Yes, I've learned the hard way that if you find something that you like get more before they are gone. But I can go into a store and try on a few pairs. If they are not perfect I have the will power to put them back in the box and not get them. Shopped six shoe stores last week; tried on 3 pairs of heels. Bought NONE.

  5. YES

It depends on the season, late fall-winter=early spring mostly boots and booties, rarely will I wear open toe. I need at 3.75 inch rise between toe and heel and have some that go up to a 5 inch rise.

Late-spring to early fall its open toe high heel sandals and the occasional boot. Love to mess with people's minds when I wear my calf high boots with short shorts and a Hawaiian shirt.  Love platforms, wedges, and block heels. Love showing off my painted toenails.

I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day, so I rarely wear stilettos. And I have never found a pump my toe tendons can live with, so NO pumps
