  1. So when I have my Victoria's Secret sweater with my women's turtleneck, panties, women's socks and high heels with male pants, a little eye shadow/liner and project as male, am I cross-dressing?  Some may call freestyling but I call it blending.

Remember pink was a Power Color in the 90's..almost every man had a pink power tie and a pink shirt.

If one starts down this silly slope of declaring anyone a cross dresser who wears even a single object that is ostensibly designed for the opposite sex, the whole thing becomes comical, something out of Monty Python, and  the term itself is rendered meaningless.

It goes both ways, if one item is not, then is 2 items?, Is 3? Is n or n+1?

My attitude is identical to that of Jkrenzer’s.  I stopped caring what others thought of my wearing heels years ago.  People can react anyway they want to. As far as I’m concerned, people have three choices - ridicule, laugh or just leave me alone.

Your missing the most important choice, compliment.

There appears to be a lot of people here who view wearing heels as a handy justification for cross dressing

Since most high heels are women's, technicality when you wear women's heels you are cross dressing.  I blend my clothing from both sides, pick the best of what I want to wear. Some comes from the men's side, some from the women's side; it's about what fits best, function best, and looks good, not what the label says.

  4. The trouble is the person who "dress him" has no idea what is worn today and dress him in an outfit from an earlier decade.  Of course he looked out of placed.  Example is JeffB, he dresses in modern clothing and doesn't look out of place.

If you like less hair on your legs you just got to get them waxed. It gets easier every time and thinner too.

I feel we are heel addicts . We are also at different levels of addiction . Same as a cyclist covets different frames as mentioned above or the Ferrari .  If you were to ask my brother the difference or even one of my sisters about my shoes all they would notice would be the color . We see more than just the shoe we see the whole picture of the shoe like the heel style the material or the sole of said shoe . To me that would make us addicts . We also try to wear them every chance we can and we take the best care of them we possibly can . You take a cigar smoker look how they covet the taste and try to keep the cigar at the perfect temp.until time of smoking . I have a collection of models kits started in the 1970's to modern day releases of WWII aircraft from Axis to Allied . I keep all my kits at a controlled temp . .  Financially speaking , no I will never let any of my addictions get in the way of my families needs , bottom line we all have addictions in some form or another .

By your definition of addiction I'm a big time addict. Shoes, garden, skiing, fishing, the list goes on and on.

  6. Nice wedges. Always on the lookout for high wedge sandals.

Your story reminds me on my daughter's college graduation back in 2015. I flew out there in my Maxx Out wedges. But the weather was terrible in Denver, rain/snow in May. So I wore my calf high boots the rest of the time.  Her Division had an in-door department graduation the night before with about 200-300 graduates. I watched the shoes of the women walking. Most were in new shoes and new clothes.  Many, many wedges. I had a good laugh when I saw several wearing heels I own. You could tell the women that put heels on for the first time in a long time.

Graduation the next day was held in the outdoor stadium in a rain storm. I was so glad I had my calf high boots on. It snowed that night (for Mother's Day).

  7. I've had the black version of the $225 FB Canti's in my bag for some time waiting of the right time to buy them. Today I got a notice they where having a sale, even on clearance, so I went to the Steve Madden site a check what was on clearance. Surprise the FB Canti's was now at $99.99. So with the 25% off it was down to $75. Using a $25 coupon it now $54.5 including tax and shipping.

So I was forced to buy these.

  8. You are over thinking this.  If she is a good SA, then she will say hi to you at the gym. She's looking for a future sale. And knowing her product she probable recognize the brand of legging you have worn to the gym.  It's just normal.

I returned some pants I had order to a outlet store (free return), wrong length. I had already re-order the correct size online.  While the sale associate was doing the transaction I saw a pair of short shorts at 50% off and grab myself a pair in size 10. After the return was done I purchased the shorts.  The SA didn't question me that they were women's, so I questioned her why she didn't. Her reply:  you returned a women's size 10, I thought you knew they were women's without me telling you.  She also said they have many men who purchase the women's version because they fit better, AND they have women who come in and purchase the men's version for themselves because they fit better.

So you'll most likely not the first man that bought leggings from her, and you are not the last man to either.
