Well done. Any reactions you got wearing your outfit? +, -
We both wear similar jean jeggings only I yet to own or wear a nice stilleto bootie like yourself.
No comments, saw some looking but not even much of that
best get yourself a pair of booties and give it a go

I know there have been threads on the musical Kinky Boots. This is more about the publicity campaign here in Melbourne where it has recently opened. At the Sofitel, on Collins Street, where I am staying all of the Do Not Disturb signs are Kinky Boots themed, with an image of a crop-wielding buxom lass in red patent thigh boots. Seeing such lively Do Not Disturb signs hanging on the door knobs of so many rooms along the corridor as I go down to breakfast creates a colourful impression of the sorts of activities that might be going on behind all these closed doors.
Its hard to keep a straight face.
Im in melb sun through thur next week. Hope crown is the same.
I am definitely going to go try on the wittner kinky boots promo boots. Only available at the Collins St shop in Melbourne

Does anyone know how to keep patent leather boots in good condition ive had a couple of pairs with fab heels that i really liked but after a few years the patent splits or just deteriates especially around the zip area where they get pulled the most. Is there any treatment that could prolong their life.
Hi @stevey2
my first thought is youve got to decide what you have in terms of what your boots are made from
patent leather is 1 thing
synthetic is another
you should NOT use the term leather and synthetic at same time.
synthetic is man made and is generally a polyurethane mix. Once cracked thats it, cannot be repaired. Thats my understanding

Those sure are attention getting devices. I'm not sure I like them with blue jeans. I think they would be better with black slacks or black leggings.
Mmmmmmmm, interesting @Thighbootguy
OK i will see. Next week i can pop a pair of black jeans on and see. Might also try with a pair of black leggings

Well it is looking good for all us guys getting some fantastic boots, I too have purchased a couple of new pairs as well. The first pair is from Nordstroms, "Linea Paolo - Kody" tall boot. Got about 10 days ago, wore them for a couple of days in Vancouver, very comfy and easy to walk in. Since it rained loads I did not want ruin them on there first few days of street heeling. 3.5" heel and a shaft that goes over jeans as well. Do love em!
They are a sensational looking boot

Home from Adelaide and package waiting for me. There is a person on Ebay AU selling a bunch of ZU shoes n boots. All starting at $10.
I bought the ZU ankle boots in leopard print. Currently wearing them with a dollop of stretch spray inside them. (They fit and are comfy but snug.)
15mm platform, 135mm heel, 120mm effect
I am very happy with the purchase, but will have to cull a few more pairs soon

Sorry the CLARKS purple ankle boots weren't comfortable because they look great with the purple shirt.
Thanks @Thighbootguy
heels are fine just a little rub on left little toe. Had been a long day and lots of walking.

I missed a day, so sorry
went out after work just down to the bar in hotel. Grabbed a beer.
Wearing my TONY BIANCO block heel sand coloured ankle boots. 12 cm heel. Quite a contrast and skinny jeans don't cover at all
Then went out for an explore and dinner. Changed to my CLARKS purple ankle boots with a thick stiletto but only 9cm heel with a 1cm platform. Easier to walk around. Spent 2 hours out walking. Feet were sore by end but a great time had.

I agree. The hangup many have here is the fear of what the fairer sex thinks about our heels. Actually getting some firsthand comments is what many need to help them on their journey.
We are advocating that heels should not be viewed as gender specific so why should chatting about them be......
I, like CAT say please stay and please be involved.
