  1. Morning all

Tue morning here and ive just started a big adventure. Due to expected rain i went to local train station and left my scooter nearby. Slipped on a pair of heels and got on train.

There is no option now. I have NO reserve shoes. I have to take train to city (about 40 mins) then a 1.5 k (1 mile) walk to my work. Then i have to enter the security area. Im thrilled and nervous. Although i wear heels all the time they tend to be lower and more block type.

I am wearing a pair of windsor smith 'tempurr' booties with a thin block type 10cm heel. I am sure to have sore feet on arriva.

Hope i dont run into anyone i know

will report in again on way home

  2. Another great shopping adventure just completed.  Went to ninewest in sydney cbd. Small but open store onto the mall. Nervous but excited going in.

Young staff member asked me what i wanted, no issues at all. Tried on about 6 pairs of pumps with 2 girls clucking over me. Telling me those look great. Those not as good, try these. I want to see these on you. In the end i dont know who was having the better time. Bought a pair of platform pumps. But almost bought the ones in the pic

    maybe next visit

  3. I was at my fave store today wittner who have great quality heels and boots up to eu42 which is a 10.5. In us and aus. Im an 11 so i fit about 80% of them.

I found a pair of peep toe all leather ankle boots with a 1 cm platform and 12cm block heel in the run out shelves.

my first ever pair of peep or open toes. I tried them on and bought them. How much ?

    $26 (aussie).

I am soooooo happy. Pic coming asap

  4. Yes, it can be quite fun. I especially like my adventures out for lunch and coffee when i can change and be more adventurous and daring. Im also of the thinking that its like having a ferrari in the garage. If you dont use it whats the point. Wearing heels can be like that, the knowledge that others can / might be able too see is fun in itself.

  5. Just spent 4 hours around sydney shopping. Alexandria outlets centres, birkenhead point and now broadway.  Great morning but found nothing to buy. I prefer boots and closed toes so summer makes them hard to find. Just sitting having a coffee now in the food court with stiletto ankle boots on. Feet are sore but feel great.

  6. I have found no hassles. The first time i was thinking what do i say for gf, and the sales girls just smiled and said "are they for you?" And i said yes and that was it, never had too much issue. Ive been to windsor smith here in sydney, dina ferrari store, nine west store and about ,,6 in 1 morning at a factory outlet centre. My fave though is wittner. Beautiful boots. And shoes. Staff are lovely. Even when the place has half a dozen girls trying on i still get  2 assisting me.

It can be such a buzz. I have never had anything even approaching rudeness or sniggering.

    Go for it

  7. Hello all. Just a short note to say hi. Male 50 yo, from sydney aust. Married kids etc.

I enjoy wearing heels all the time at work, almost always boots, normally under jeans which hides most things. Getting braver and less caring by the day. Have had a few comments but all were great. Wearing stiletto boots is current fave and walking around cbd. Or sitting for a coffee with heel obvious and watching the looks that gets. The big thing ive realised is that so few notice and of those that do notice no one cares.

Still no where near brave enough yet to tell family and friends

just wanted to say hi or gday as we do down here
