Thanks Sydheel, agree they are pricey but on occasion the price is digestible for more of a custom fit. $400 for boots, yes a bit steep for sure.

Im also concerned about the fit. You can opt for a 1/2 or full zip. But they look bulky at the ankle

Hi Sydheel, did go and do some shopping? Envious about that sale..  Have you seen there new knee boot designs?

I went along but found nothing.

I have tried on the new style ankle boots they offer and the knee boots are an extension of those. 7cm heel only choice and knee boots at $400.

Im not in the queue to buy at that price

  3. Bought a pair of brand new INC boots 2 weeks ago from apparelsave on ebay. They are huge. 250000 listing plus at a time

well they were cheap as $31 AU plus $11 AU postage from USA to AUS. Heck it costs more for me to send locally (go figure)

but anway. Boots arrived in 2 weeks. Size 11 INC Bellona boots in black suede. 12.5 cm stilletto heel, 1.5 cm platform.

    Fit beautifully. Comfy, solid feel

my fave new heels for work.

Please excuse pics. The shower area is the only place with a mirror

Just recently received new Steve Madden Delirious platform shoes with 16cm stiletto heels.

Not new to high heels, but cannot stop admiring what heels do to your posture....

Unfortunately I guess need to return the shoes because 16cm heels, even with nearly 5cm platform, are a bit too high for me. Would love to master those great heels, but immediate pain on top of the foot is a serious warning sign for one who has had a fractured foot years ago...

    Noooooooooooo

me personally i would persevere if i could, but obviously its your feet and your call, but they are really amazing looking heels.

i also love the 2 rear shots for comparison. It really highlights the difference that a pair of heels makes. Thanks for doong that

now im going to have to work out how to make that shot.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of 700 pair of unworn heels...not the 700 part, but the unworn part.  Seems to me like an out of control collector.  I'm sure he enjoys seeing the collection, but It does seem a shame to have that many heels that aren't seen out and about.  :bawling:

Dont know if its a he or she

but yeah crazy mini museum or something

but only an hours drive. Might have to see if i can go take a look inside

They look perfect! Great find. Wish to wear exact same boots sometime very hot indeed without looking overwhelming. Believe it's the platform front toe box is seamless blends the boot giving it a normal appearance less bulky moon-boot, ski boot style.

Just curious what is the circumference of the opening above the knee?

That's a problem with a lot of over the  knee boots fitting to loose making the appearance not looking good.  These seem to fit snugly makes it that much better looking.

My calves are about 40cm. But the stretch back on these means they fit easily but look snug

Did i learn a valuable lesson. Wore my new heel block booties fits tight. So wearing any sort of medium denier sock fits very snug. So i thought why bother wearing ankle thin socks with them, big mistake. Barefoot with these leather booties blistered my toes and heel painfully, ouch! Looks as i learned my lesson never again. May try to snatch couple those sock pantyhose they offer free at Marshalls when women try on heels. Bought some thinner ankle socks that won't show to badly from my booties.

Just curious and now know wearing pump heel often see women's feet blistered wearing it barefooted. Seeing some woman in flat sandals with band-aids or scabs on their heel or toes like i got today.

Going to take awhile to heal before i wear my booties again..

If wearing pumps barefoot lather foot in a natural moisturiser. The staff at 1 of the big shops passed this on. Plus the moisturiser helps the leather stretch and mold to your feet. Ive done it with my pumps

Ah so it was you who bought these from Ebay. :cheeky:

I used to have the same pair years ago except they were black and to be honest the quality was questionable. The soles on my pair started to come apart when left in the car in a warm day.

Hopefully your ones weren't part of a dodgy batch.

Yeah, ex shop stock sitting in s garage for years. The zip was shot. The non leather zip liner has fallen apart. And they had them in black as well. Gave the 2nd pair to me for my trouble. Also The glue on the soles had to reglued.

The leather is ok and i ended up with 2 pair for $30 plus about $60 in repairs. So all up not to bad

Boot season is my favorite. Started out a little on the conservative side with new Steve Madden boots.  Perfect for shopping earlier in the evening and then stopping at a few places in the city.  Perfect weather to be out in boots and a skirt.  Several compliments tonight

  10. Im sitting at my fave cafe in city having a coffee.

Just thought id share my boots. I bought these a month or 2 ago on ebay but still getting used to them. They are Siren boots size 10 but a few seasons old.

Squared off toe and very steep curved foot bed so toes are bent further than any of my other boots. 12.5 cm heel.

Im only just able to walk properly in these. On the edge as far as how much bend my ankle gives.

but wore them in to work on scooter then to coffee shop for breakky. I will change down when i get to work
