  1. I think the best thing still is to make the For Men and For Women sections invisible to the opposite genders. Men don't get to lurk in the for women sections, and women don't get to lurk and post (I've seen that happen too, and not have those posts removed either) in ours. That way either sex can be themselves in their own subforum and the moderator can focus more on the sections where both sexes do engage each other.

I haven't been here that long, wow, longer than I thought 2012! Anyway I started out reading Jeff's thread, but tired of it quickly. I am here for the high heels and have zero interest in posts on clothing. I bet I haven't read a bit of Jeff's thread in 3-4 years. I might open it, just to clear it out of my read threads.

Rules are rules, and we need to follow them or the next thing you knw the main topic gets lost talking politics or religion. I belong to another sight that says no politics. The owners of the group let up wander there once in a while, but as soon as the conversation gets a bit heated it goes away, which isn't long!

To be honest I have little interest myself in reading the heeling or clothing adventures of individual members, or selfie threads as I call them. Great if you like them, or like doing them, more power to ya, but I prefer a more general conversation about heels.

Well, the leather seems like good quality anyway.  I didn't pay that much for them, $125.  Wore them quite a bit the other day in Ft. Myers, I think they are stretching out, will find out tonight when I attempt to put them on again!

Probably won't rehome them, they are growing on me....  Yeah, I have some peculiar worries indeed...  Like Mom always said:  "you are your own worst enemy"....

Your advice is spot on buddy....Oh well...

I bought some very thin Nike no show gym socks to wear with the Zaras.  Will try them out again tonight....Thanks for your encouragment...D

I learned that the hard way. Unless they are strappy sandals I don't bother anymore with Zara heels, boots or flats. I'm normally a size EU41 in my male shoes, yet their size EU42 ballerinas squeeze my feet. EU42 pumps are out of the question other then room decoration. Even their leggings I have to order one size up.

  3. I must have been 13 or 14 when I experimented with my mother's shoes. But her feet were smaller then mine, so that quickly ended that experiment. I managed to buy some heels in stores, but it was next to impossible to find anything over size EU41 at the time. And pumps never fitted. Although in hindsight sandals would have probably fitted. It wasn't until after I went to university that I went to Amsterdam to a Black Sabbath concert (it was awesome!). Before the show I hit the city center for a meal and discovered that the sex shops there sold high heeled footwear up to size EU46. It was suddenly finding the promised land!

  4. You guys definition of high heels are different then mine, that's for sure. To me those are moderately low heels, and  just low heels in the case of the Asian police officers. I wouldn't even given them the time of day if anyone passed me in the street wearing those. Maybe if they were police women, because I'm used to see them wearing the same army type boots that male officers wear.

As for the dancers in heels in the video that mlroseplant posted, that reminded me of all the strippers in the, um, 'male entertainment magazines' I used to read back then. Those ladies would dance all night in 4 to 5" heels all evening. And then, like it happened overnight, those were all replaced by the standard 6" Pleaser stripper heels with the 2" platform. Like there was a stripper conclave and they decided those only from now on. Which made sense, as those shoes are only 4" without the platform, so far more comfortable to wear all night then 5" and looking a lot sexier then regular 4".

And after this bizarre trip down memory lane, back to cops in low to moderately low heels.

I don't really get it, because the picture is not sideways on my computer, and when I uploaded the picture on my thread last January, it was just fine. It just went all sideways on my last Friday.

Oh, come on now, cháu Hằng is not ruined at all! With the one exception of her usual taste in casual footwear. She usually wears plain black 3" stiletto pumps to work, by the way.

You give it time, buddy, you give it time. I am missing some information here though, like who she is?

  6. I don't see any pictures except galaxies. Did I miss something or is my Noscript plugin interfering in some way?

It's a mean, mean world out there in Internetland. Heck, I even got a "dislike" on my new organ video I posted on Youtube. I mean, it's not the greatest, but a dislike? Just ignore it.

I might suggest, however, that posting that many pictures at once of basically the same thing is perhaps a bit much. On top of that, you're not showing your face, and you're obviously within your home, and not out and about doing stuff. If there's one thing I've learned as a man wearing high heels, is that most of it is presentation. If you look like you know what you're doing, if you look like you are comfortable, then people won't bother you.

I'm not saying any of this to be a jackwagon, I'm just sharing with you my perception of what's going on here. My intention is to encourage you, because I think your look is great. If you hadn't said anything about the downvotes or the mean comments, I probably wouldn't have even replied. I bet if you posted pictures of yourself shopping at Walmart, or wherever, you wouldn't get any mean comments. Or at least they'd be few and far between.

In my experience any video on youtube will get a 1 to 3% dislike vote regardless of content. You could have Eddie van Halen play Eruption while surrounded by cute kittens it will still get that amount of dislikes.

Once you put something out there there will always be haters. You can't please everyone, you might as well learn to accept this. Now it the amount of dislikes goes up dramatically, then you will know something's up.

Do you remember this gal that I introduced you to back in January? I know you won't believe me, but she would totally wear those, and probably enthusiastically. America has completely ruined her.

I have no clue as to why the picture keeps uploading sideways, but you get the idea.

America ruins all women. Hell, the entire West ruins all women.

As for the OP, all platforms are a crime against footwear, but yes, these are particularly hideous.

Yes, I've had that lament as well, but I wonder if it would have been awful more than it would have been wonderful. I think it probably would have been, just because of the time. I know I didn't have the mental fortitude to take the kind of abuse I would have gotten in the 80s.

I am not convinced that getting positive female comments and conversations regarding your heeling would lead to more romantic interests. Overall I am still firmly convinced that while women say they applaud men getting their heeling on, that does not mean that they want their man to wear heels. Overall women have not changed in what they want in a mate by neither feminism or social justice. They still want the man to be taller, stronger (mentally and physically), have more social status and make more money then they do. It's not for nothing that they complain where all the good men have gone, even though there are plenty of single good men (by our standards) to be had. They just don't meet those criteria. Begrudging acceptance if you meet those criteria first seems to be the best most people here can hope for, judging by what I read.

Most places availabe to shop at have little to nothing of interest. Local DSW is heavy on sneakers. Heel selection looked pretty thin and nothing of interest. I may get a road trip here soon so I may get to see what's at some of the bigger shopping venues, but given this Pandemic, and the lack of actual businesses open, I highly doubt I will see much.

Methinks heel selection is thin regardless of covid. Everybody wants to be comfortable in sneakers. And the less heels get worn, the more uncomfortable the become, resulting in even less wear.

I do wonder how this will impact men in heels though. I reckon rhat most of get into it because seeing women wear them around us. For most of us, me included, its an fetish item. If heels disappear from daily wear will that mean that men's fetishes will shift to other things, like leggings?

  10. I think its pretty normal in the Netherlands. The stores are well stocked and only bars and restaurants still have to keep track of the number of customers they have inside. Some shops are more strict but most no longer seem to care much. More like what is the minimum amount of covid regulations we have to adhere to? I reckon it helps if the fight against covid is not being politicized as much by a heated election.

  11. It makes perfect sense if you think about. Instead of spreading your weight out over your entire foot area it gets concentrated on your heel tips. Soft floors will suffer accordingly. Which is why a hard floor would be perfect for heels, but for my own house I prefer carpets. I'm not a big fan of loud clicking heels on a wooden floor. Plus I love the feel of carpet on my bare feet.

I used to have a pair of Rosas. Toes scraped when walking, wore through them quickly. Not good.

I had another issue with them. They come with flared heel tips, impossible to find. I contacted them about buying spate tips. Got the impression in very convincing manner that they wanted nothing to do with a guy wearing their shoes. Communication stop after a couple back and forths this instant i mentioned who i was.

What sizes do they sell? Because while there are a few guys with tiny feet, any heel brand that sells higher then EU42, and probably even including that size, will get a lot of male customers, because most men who want to wear heels tend to be in that size bracket. And if you sell those sizes then you know who most of your customers will be.

We are talking sandals here, not pumps.  Pointed toe sandals.

Nothing changes as far as my reply is concerned. But I have to admit pointy toe sandals look even more ridiculous.

Many here will not agree, but I absolutely hate pointy-toe heels.:)

I reckon it depends on how pointy. A relatively short point, like on a Louboutin So Kate, is perfectly fine. If its a long point, yeah, then its instant dislike.

While I agree on most levels with this comment, the current situation is rapidly becoming a total wasteland when it comes to heels, as they are disappearing rapidly.  As stated above, when freaking flip=flops become clubwear, things are deteriorating rapidly.  Seems like we are headed to jeans and t-shirts as being the everyday clothing choice, with sneakers and flip-flops owning the footwear world.  I personally believe this is the worst I've seen in my 69 years.  Yes, the 70's had some garrish selections, but even in the years where heels pretty much disappeared (late 60's to mid-late 70's), the ladies still wore dresses, skirts, and dress shoes, even if the heels were low and chunky.  Now, we see few skirts and dresses, and if a dress is worn, sneakers have become the go to shoe, with flip-flops right there with them.  Sad.  In my opinion, it is a poor reflection on society as a whole.  Studies in schools have  shown that better dress equals better behavior.  People just seem to act differently when dressed better.

We live in the age of You Go, Girl! Have you seen that new video by Cardi B. where she talks about her wet intimate parts and shakes them harder then a pornstar at a Legalporno set? And it gets lauded and celebrated as empowering and stunning. Vox even made comparisons to Shakespeare. We live in the degenerate age in every sense of the word and god do I feel like an old fart yelling at them stupid kids. Or maybe I now understand those old farts better. Still doesn't excuse the 70's though for having opened the door to bad taste.

  16. I'd love to say Birkenstocks too, but they have completely disappeared from the streets where I live, just like Crocs. Flipflops on the other hand, women even wear them going out to clubs. HATE the damn things. Still, best to ban them all, cause if I ban flipflops everybody would immediately switch over to Birkenstocks and Crocs in a heartbeat. Also Uggs, one of the most well chosen names to describe a product. And sneakers. Sneakers belong in the gym, just like gym clothes. Anyone who wears them outside of a gym better well be on their way to one or its the fashion police for you!

As for heeled footwear, anything with kittenheels or platforms. The former looks ugly and the latter is just cheating. And looks damn ugly too. On the other hand a platform with some decent heels after subtracting platform height is still better then flipflops, crocs or birkenstocks. So maybe you'll get a C for at least trying.

    FEE WAYBILL

Classic "The Tubes" with Fee Waybill. Rock and Roll from the 70's. The picture above is from 2016.

There's a reason why the 70's were a decade of crimes against fashion and why it should be stricken from the historical record.

Store 1 and 3 seem to have nothing higher then 10cm, while the OP is looking for 5 inch, or 11,5 to 12cm. Store 2 and 4 have something in this range, but its A: either pricey, €75 to €150, or limited availability.

Even then, with Italian heels. as these all are, its a kinda crapshoot getting the correct size. For some strange reason Italian shoe manufacturers refuse to accept that there are people out there with wide feet. They always tend to run narrow. Which means having to order larger, which means having the dreaded heel gap.

Overall I'd say that the OP is better off with the webstores that at9 listed.

  18. You might try the Seduce, Amuse or Sexy lines from Pleaser. Other then that, in those sizes, its basically all made and sold from China. Anything in the shops, from places like New Look or Asos, is basically up to size 8, size 9 if you're lucky. For some reason the market still hasn't caught on that there are people with feet bigger then size 8 or 9 who also want heels. But then again heels are seriously out of fashion. It's like 1 in a 100 women who can be seen wearing heels. And 4" seems to be the max these days as far as the shops go.

But if anyone knows otherwise, I'd love to stand corrected in this regard.

  19. Normally I would post this in Ultraheels, but I noticed there's not much going on in there anymore. So I'll put it in here. Did anyone notice that Pleaser has changed their Domina range of high heels? They used to be 14 cm, or 5.5" high, and for me quite comfortable to walk in. I bought some new pairs recently and suddenly I couldn't get my knees straight. So I pulled out a ruler and lo and behold, they were a centimeter taller. I made a picture to show the difference, left new Domina heel, size EU41, right old pair, same model, I think a size EU43. Great news if height is your thing, but it will probably take some getting used to. Haven't gone over 5.5" in a long time.

  20. The Domina range from Pleaser can't be beat for quality on the money you spent for it. And it is not that much more expensive then similar shoes on AliExpress.

The problem with AliExpress really is A: sizing, making sense of their sizing is an exercise in frustration and also costly, cause you will have to order several pairs to find what size will fit you. And B: hard because 5" and 7" heels a plenty on AliExpress, but 6" heels are nigh impossible to find. Which brings you automatically back to Pleaser. Not that much more expensive, decent quality for the price, and best of all a sizing you can trust.
