  1. Well it seems that Jeffery Campbell is giving some good selction through Solestruck, I too am looking at getting a pair from them, cool shoes. Also solestruck is getting a bit of business from our group maybe they will get more selection in the future. K6ps, those are cool shoes hey, are getting a pair? Do you have a pair? Litas look good too! Another book mark to keep track of........dang shoe shopping! Mtnsofheels

  2. Greetings Majo, Those are nice boots too, I agree with Charlie on those. It just goes to show that there indeed many boots to buy and wear. I really happy with the Paul Bond boots below, one aspect is the rubber heel cap which makes quite quiet for walking, but I have a pair of Doc Martens that make up the no noise! Hope you enjoy those too Majo! Mtnsofheels

  3. Hi laziq,

I do know one shoe/boot maker who may be able to help.

    http://www.shoesusa.com/

Builds shoes and boots in large sizes, on the tool bar select button that says large sizes and it will show a selection of shoes and boots they can make.

I have purchased 4 pairs of shoes/boots from them and I can say they are built well and fit me. I am a size 10/41 so I did not have go for big sizing but they shipped to me in Canada. It is worth a try!

    Hope for success!

  4. Since winter has ended I have been able get out heeling and enjoy my new boots that I have purchased recently. Two pairs, first pair is from Paul Bond Boots, 20" Ostrich leather, 4" heel Western boot, custom made so I went for the max and glad I did. They are awesome, wore them all day yesterday fit perfectly, even bought a belt to match them in Italy last week goes well with my long inseam jeans. Second pair is a Trouve booties from Nordstrom, was looking for the Alliance Boot but they were sold out so I got these instead, perfect fit and on sale which made them a good purchase. Wearing these with a black slack and polo shirt. Enjoying spring in my new boots! Mtnsofheels

  5. I agree with Doc Shoe and others, busy places and with many people, I feel with so many folks around its like a distraction and you go unnoticed. I just had a week of awesome heeling in Northern Italy in a great pair of knee high boots and a 3"+ heel. The places I visited had many people and few who spoke English and even less noticed. Mind you with all those good looking Italian women in heels, I felt invisible. Mtnsofheels

  6. I am a whatever heels that interest me for the day kinda person, boots often. As winter has just pasted I can enjoy heeling again as the need for ski boots and winter boots is gone. Yesterday I had a pair Western boots on all day with a 4" heel, but wedge heels sandals and what the weather throws out I adjust. Canada is awesome for boots most of the year especially out in the sticks! Mtnsofheels

  7. Well that is an interesting question! But I do live in a colder climate and do have the chance to wear boots almost all the time. Canada is a colder place and even cooler in the mountains, boots are often wearable most days in the summer, however it can get hot then it is pumps, clogs or sandals. Living up here has helped my boot selection for sure! Mtnsofheels

  8. Hi Goldwings, Nice boots! Is JG boots stand for Jean Gaborit or is it some other company in the US? I just have not that style of western boot at Jean Gaborit if is them. Nice colors too, bet you got the ladies swinging their heads with that combination. Thanks for sharing. Mtnsofheels

  9. While heeling, the facial hair is generally gone, but then again my blond and white hair is not noticeable. I prefer the smooth look and am getting rid of the hair slowly. Just feel better without it. Still working on the personal style though. Mtnsofheels

  10. Hi Demoniaplatforms, I have ordered from Gaborit before and had no problems with them or their boots. I got a pair of Madge and a pair of Siri boots. The Siri is very comparable to the Chris just a little lower, the basic structure is the same except for the shaft height. I have been eyeballing these (chris) myself and almost ordered them recently. Just time to do it is my problem I think they look good and will suffice both needs for wearing them, over or under jeans/pants. Reasonable height and mine fit well and wear them whenever i can, just not in winter. And as Yozz has mentioned they do take time to get them, hopefully sizing is done right and it still takes quite some time to get them, my order took 3.5 months. It was worthwhile though as I love the boots. Hope it works well for you. Mtnsofheels

  11. Greetings misslinda516, Welcome to the HH Place. So nice to have you join us as well as Hubby? It is refreshing to hear of someone who accepts and enjoys dressing, heeling with your best buddy and hubby. I am sure it has been a wonderful experience for the both of you. Glad to see here, hope you enjoy the site. Look forward to hearing more from you! Cheers, Mtnsofheels

  12. Hey demoniaplatforms,

Quite the fantasy you got going there! So you want to be a melon crusher huh,

well for me I do not have the same vision. Perhaps laying the boots to the melon after a frustrating event, you know an anger release. Ah but that has not happened yet. I think one of my dreams is heading out the back door

of a Hercules plane-skydiving with a pair of OTK Christian Louboutin Zip backs on and landing flawlessly at a nice resort for a killer cocktail to toast the event!

    The ones shown here!

  13. Greetings Meatclub! Welcome to the HH Place. Agreed that sometimes we have a sausage fest here, but we still have soft side for the heels. If you get a chance to tell us more about heeling your interests, do have any shoes/boots that you wear? Public heeling? Enjoy the site, Mtnsofheels
