What time you in MK? I'll see if I can escape the madness at home for a while.

Dr. Shoe used to play the xylophone using just two cotton buds pushed up his nostrils. This promising showbiz talent was lost when he developed hayfever.

The next person exhudes grace and elegance, and lives life to the full.

Dr. Shoe was originally a Madame Tussauds waxwork, but was magically brought to life by pixies

Dr. Shoe won Windsor Castle in a poker game with Prince Phillip. But to cover it up Phillip had him put in the Tower of London till he gave it back.

Most of the songs from the original Bat out of Hell (Meatloaf if you live under a rock). Ace of Spades - Motorhead. Smoke on the water - Deep Purple just for the rift Californication - Red Hot Chilli Peppers among others.... my music tastes are much more varied than that but the thread does ask for Rock toons.

Euchrid found the answer to life the universe and everything and wrote it on the back of a business card which he found in a phone box. Later, the card was washed in his trousers pocket and the secret was lost.

Me too.... Those posts where someone just says "yeah I like those" are irritating, I usually try to stop myself if I feel a me too post coming on. Sometimes I look back over a post I'm about to make and delete it because it says nothing new, although one or two probably slip through when I'm in here. I'm going to be extra vigilant now I know we're being judged on our posts though

Euchrid auditioned for the part of Catwoman in Batman Returns but turned down the role as the leather outfit made his bum look big.

Yes it was the "North" ones I liked best, but seeing the HD ones sans harness they look a lot better too.

The next person is handsome (or beautiful) and sophisticated

Only ones I don't care much for are the wedge mules, the boots all look fantastic. I particularly like the style of the second pair, and the heel shape. Good choices, let us know how they feel to wear when they arrive (provided they fit).I have 3 packages en route from the US via USPS, each with 2 pairs of boots or shoes. I've a fourth package on the way via Fedex. [7 pairs in total.] If a US 10 don't fit me, I'm in big trouble.
Cost of boots is small, carriage almost as small. Import tax will almost double the price of whatver I've bought. Welcome to Britain.
What's on the way?

and a couple more pairs...

Not really, the people here are great and all, but the person I'm looking to be acceptable to is me. I also have to keep Mrs Shyguy happy or things get tense. The opinions of the people on HHPlace are interesting, but they are just opinions, and there will be different ones from each person here, so I wouldn't even try to be acceptable to them allReading 'between the lines', I think you're searching for something that is both acceptable to your spouse, and the members here?

Dr. Shoe lived with a family of trolls until his 20th birthday.

Loveshiheels changed his name by deedpoll to the names of the 1927 england football squad.

I'd say there not really Jeans and "T-shirt" kinda shoes. Smart jeans and a shirt maybe, but it sounds like you went out in actual casual jeans and regular t-shirt?
Hard to say when all we see is the shoes.
It was a casual look, casual jeans and t-shirt nothing smart. The purpose of the thread was to gauge the general consensus of heel requirements to be a streetheeler in HHPlace. There always seems to be a bit of competition or oneupmanship for guys in any activity and this has proved to be no exception.
It's great to hear the explanations for everybody's choice on the poll too, keep them coming.

The designer had a cameo role in the first Indiana Jones movie as third dancer from the left in a scene which eventually got cut to avoid the film getting an 18 rating.

The next person has a great personality and a winning smile.

Loveshiheels was born half man half horse, and won the grand national as a pony. He was later disqualified for wearing the wrong shoes during the race. Since then he hasn't been near a horse racing venue.

actually that's true, I was in MK with daleks (spooky) Dr. Shoe has webbed feet which enable him to swim but make finding shoes a bit difficult which is why he had to design his own. Several of his designs were used in propaganda videos made by the web feet society.
