Socks with heels? YUCK! Just kidding! He looks cool!

Nice outfit there, Mr. X! You certainly made that romper work!

Meh! Not my cup of tea. Those things just don't appeal to me.

I agree. Moderation is the key. Pale is fine but I actually prefer a little color myself
Well, my tan is built in!

My outfit came together rather easily. I like the simplicity of wearing dresses. A dress and some shoes, plus a bag and some jewellry, and you are good to go!
Now you understand the ease and allure of dresses, and why nzfreestyler and I enjoy them as much as we do. By the way, cool outfit, it looked great on you.

I've been pretty much hooked on block heels, and my latest acquisition are the Payless "Rae Chopout" mules in taupe with four inch block heels. The shoes were easy to wear, easy to walk in and comfortable for long stretches as I wore them to the sprawling King of Prussia Mall yesterday. They also come in black, but that color sold out.

JeffB,
I knew there was another reason I liked you. I too was in the Navy 1980-1985 (CTI) and outprocessed right there at the Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard. Yes, time in the Navy will give you a certain attention to detail. HinH

Nice to meet other sailors here! I served from 1976 to 1996. I was a Storekeeper and outprocessed at Willow Grove air station after the Navy Base closed for business in 1993. I was very proud to have served and got to visit many amazing places, my favorite being Japan from August 1977 to December 1978.
Mr. X: Well done on your first public outing in a dress. Pretty cool, eh? Wearing dresses are easy and a whole lot of fun, once upon a time, I wore them infrequently, now I'm wearing them more often as they suit who I am as a freestyler.

Well, I don't expect anyone else to document their travels in the sort of exacting detail as I have, that's just how I roll, thanks to disciplines learned while I was in the military (Navy). Still, I greatly appreciate others here who chat about their outings as Mr. X does, regardless of how they talk about their adventures.

The men’s room of course. I’ve never had any trouble, regardless of how I’m dressed.

Hmm! An interesting question. At six foot two in my bare feet, I'm already tall enough, yet, when given the option to wear my flat sandals now that the weather has finally warmed up in these parts, I've opted for heels instead on my last few outings as I've looked better in them. Perhaps it's a psychological thing. Heh!

Well done, Mr. X! That outfit was absolutely smashing! I'm glad I inspired you to wear pumps after my latest outing, your shoes are great. Two thumbs up to you!

I know a guy that spends $300+ for sports shoes for everyday wear. Same guy can't pay the rent. He has matching sports jerseys with shorts with the shoes to match. Also has a nice Rolex. Can't afford to fix his car.
Well, to each their own.

I have 4 to 5 pairs OVER the $200 mark. But that doesn't mean I spend that much on each one of them.
I think the highest I spend was $170 for some FreeBird booties. Love wearing those booties.
But here's how I do it. I have a $225 shoe in my shopping bag right now.
$225 wait for 35% off sale, new price: $146,
$146, use $25 coupon, new price: $121,
$121 use "Gift Card Money" at 70% of face value
Out-of-pocket cost $84.70
Of course this includes free shipping and double points, or about another $25 to spend on a future purchase...
Well done! Why spend more money than you have to? Saving is cool!
