Hiya Tom, Capri pants, the're the one's that are cut off just below the knee, ie calf length. Take care. Inga

Firefox, Looks like we may have some fun when a certain event occurs in Manchester 25 July – 4 August 2002. Especially those of us in the so called Commonwealth countries. Aslum seekers, that's not a popular phrase in Aust at the moment, the Tampa fiasco and I'm from a Norweigen - Anglo background. Love it, wonder whether modem person would know what a chinook is. I do and I'm not Canadian, it's the warm wind from the land of John Denver. Inga

Thx Firefox, just having a subtle go at certain attitudes that prevail, over that bit of water near your abode. I believe you can drive your or have your car transported there via a tunnel also. Inga

You so right, exactly the same here in Australia. Laurie, is it the same in Quebec, I gather they're a bit different. That is: Ils voudraient au secede du reste du Canada. Inga

Yeah, Capri pants work, ankle straps also. Hey and remember when I wear my mules and sandles, out comes the NP as I don't wear hose with such, got to make my feet look right. Get plenty of practice here as Australian summers are long. Inga

Hiya Francis, Might need a bit of guidence here. Goons were: Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe, Spike Milligan. Each played several characters. I understand that 'Eccles' was Spike's favourite. Milligan's description of Eccles was the he was a "part time human being who's height varied between 2'6" and 18'3" depending on food environment and bed size" He also had had 18,312 interviews for jobs, yet never employed. Also "currently living on a rocky atoll in the French Atomic Bombing Range" Such was his imagination, brilliant. Inga

Why not, go ahead and surprise him, the more you wear HH the more accustomed to them you become. Oh, just what were smoking? Sounds like you having fun. Inga

Your right Mano, the guys used to call them 'winkle pickers'. Many of my boots have pointed toes also, only thing is they have stiletto or thin blade heels. Inga

Hiya Guys, Me just having another sticky , sounds like there are a few stirrers around here, some could be potential road rage candidates. Entertaining stuff! Take care Inga _________________ Platforms are for standing on, not for walking in. [ This Message was edited by: IHeels on 2002-03-01 12:43 ]

Hiya My basic computer knowledge I suppose might be categorised as power user, definitely not expert, so things like cutting, pasting, finding ways around a new interface etc which you alluded to Firefox are pretty easy for me. Just I'm not a programmer although I did a programming subject in an Economics/Law degree 19 years ago. Anyhow, like both of you, I'm, you would'nt guess also pretty passionate about the subject. And yep, I still visit Jenny's board, just you'll find me here more often. Inga

Very true, probably worse here in Aust than GB, high tax country. May'be we all ought to go and live at places like Jersey, Monaco, Andorra, Bermuda etc, don't think taxes exist in these. Inga

Here's one from the Olympics: "Secret service agents shopping for souvenirs in Salt Lake City left behind instructions for protecting Vice President Dick Chaney and his family at the Winter Olympics The documents outlined the positioning of agents during the closing ceremony." So much for security? Inga

Wow, am impressed, it's getting there. Inga

Hiya, Good grief it's only a University, when I went to Uni (Melbourne) you could wear anything. OK it's in another Australian state, but really I don't think it would be any different. Only a few elite clubs in Australia have such a thing as a code of dress. SO WEAR YOUR HEELS! Agree generally on skirt's, I suppose I sometimes wear pants in suits just to add an extra dimension. On the hairy stuff totally agree. I can't speak for others but as I said before I go the whole way with waxing, under arm and bikini line included. Inga

Cheating, Canadian's, Australian's and Brit's generally don't cheat. They're squeaky clean, those that cheat are, Spain, anyhow they got sprung, how can Spain (even though the offender was an import) with almost no snow beat the Norwegians who practically don't know what grass looks like because they live in the slush and invented nordic skiing. Easy be very naughty and cheat. I'm not a monarchist, but I just get a feeling the Commonwealth countries might be a little bit cleaner than some their opposition. Big mistake Terayon! Inga

Your right to a degree Laurie, but I think I myself also would have to flirt it up and a lot to get anywhere near the level of sex workers. Yeah, do on occasion wear knee high boots and a tight leather skirt, but don't walk around trying to make myself seen in a big way. Inga
-
Got to agree with both of you, the wedgies are better than those hiking boots, still the wedgies are yuk, a thin stiletto or thin blade 4" and above is all that is acceptable to me. So the boots I'm currently in are actually pretty crappy. Inga

Certainly that better footwear is an incentive. Inga

For me, yes it is natural to wear heels, I totally agree with Carolyn, it enhances my femininity. Inga

Curling, it's a bit like equestrian skill only. Equestrian doesn't have gender specific events, good argument for the same to apply for curling. Inga

Totally agree Jo-Jo, my jeans are essentially boot cut (slight flare)absolutely skin tight to the knee but only cover half the heel. They look good otherwise I wouldn't wear them. Also have seen people wearing such with trainers and they tend to crunch up, result daggy look. Inga

They made a film "Cool Running's" about the Jamacian bob team. Checked the Olympic site and they had a 2 man team entered, don't now how they went. Hey, what do think of the skeleton, 140 Kph or about 85 mph head first down a slide. Pretty cool stuff, also noticed the brit's had a top line competitor, but the snow conspired against her. Inga
I'm new to all of this

My man, I suppose does like my heels, otherwise he would'nt live with me. Whilst he does not wear heels himself he knows I would not care if he did. I'm a great believer in equity, think he's pretty aware of this also. He's also well aware I'm probably your ultimate victim of fashion. Inga
