  1. Not many would pay, over here in Australia they can't even pay to save a major airline thats being operating for over 70 years. This seemed to cost a Mr Hogan his job in British Midland, he decided Ansett was the way to go, came home took the CEO position now there's no position because there's no airline. Also Sir Richard B is complaining, QANTAS has too much control. Basically we've now got a monopoly re airlines QANTAS has over 80% of the market. Probably got nothing much do do with the thread, anyhow I've said my bit. Inga

  2. Hiya, When it's cold I often wear a pants suit, yeah and with 4 inch heels. Most of my suits are purchased with the three pieces jacket skirt and pant (trouser). Pants actually look quite good on as I have relatively long legs, that's why I wear them. Inga

  3. Well that's modern compared with the first one I had, you had to run a tape with it then place things (word processing and database) into memory and off you went. Mid 80's. You should have seen the bangers that were around when I was at Uni, early 80's and people thought they were amazing. Pretty good aren't they - those racks. I'll probably get more soon although they don't work to well with boots, any suggestions for boot storage, as I have 15 pairs.

Hiya all, just an update, now have 17 pairs of boots, bought two pairs in the last fortnight, including one today, winter's a comming in Australia. Also just added a pair of mules to my collection also.

Shoe collection growing, probably over 60 pairs now

  5. Think Lauries answered that one albeit with great verbosity. Simple answer, men last took to the streets in a big way in HH in the late sixties and early seventies. They may have been influenced by sub standard performers like Paul Gadd aka Gary Glitter. Their typical shoe was a clumpy platform with 3 inch heel, it was yuk. I think they could have done better by having the heel, but not the platform. (end, don't need to read further) Inga
