This has yet to happen to me. I would be happy to do it though. I had something similar once. I was shoe shopping and I was trying on some heels. Another women told the salesgirl that she was trying on the same heels that I was just in a different color.

Winter is here! But that aint stopping me from buying spring and summer shoes. I got these today at a thrift store. They are used but you wouldn't know it! They look absolutely brand new! They were probably worn once at the most. They are a striking blue color with a cork wedge. And The brand is Wild Diva Lounge. And the best part, I picked these babies up for less than $10! Can't wait for spring and summer to wear them out. I already have a few outfits in mind for them.

No SW nudists for me. They are on my wishlist though There was a time about 2 years ago where these were all the rage with the celebs. You couldn't walk a red carpet without seeing at least 1 pair of these.

It's sometimes how you wear it. I have gone to work in a Victoria's Secret Sweater, with a women's turtleneck, women's pants and my heels and look like an alpha male. And have both men and women compliment my outfit.
Interesting take @MackyHeels I rarely get reactions to anything I wear these days. And when I do, it is almost always positive!
And @Cali I find it is almost ALWAYS how you wear it. If you look like you should be wearing what you're wearing, regardless of what it is, then people will be more accepting to it.
That is why I always do a complete outfit. It shows that I put time and effort into my presentation, and I'm not just doing it for shock value or something.
A bum on the street wearing a pair of heels will get a lot of looks and stairs. A bum on the street wearing heels with a complete stylish outfit may get just as many looks and stairs, but mostly it will be for all the right reasons!

Thanks fir the kind words! If I can inspire at least one other person then I fell like I have done my job.

I am usually pretty careful in that regard. Usually if my tops are shorter I wear a longer coat to cover. And depending on the bag you use if you do, that can be used for some coverage as well. I was wearing a coat that was longer here. I just took it off for the pics.

Exquisitely done Mr. X! The problem is if you develop a hobby of copying the celebs you may run out of money. I see I'm not the only one who like things beyond the heels. HinH
Not me my friend. You might as well call this outfit broke Taylor. I can guarantee that my entire outfit costs WAY less than even one of the pieces in hers.
And as much as I like heels, I figured out early on in my journey that I enjoyed putting together complete outfits just as much! It also helps immensely with your presentation when you're out and about. I find that heels look less out of place on a man if they are worn with other pieces that would be perceived to be worn with said heels. For instance heels with sweatpants would look out of place on anybody out and about let alone a man!

Time for another outing report. I really had some fun with this one. Todays outing was inspired by Taylor Swift. Now let me explain.
I mentioned about some ankle boots I had recently purchased here.
Now for the outing. I don't have much to say on this front. It was the usual. Nothing out of the ordinary. So I will skip right to the good stuff. Here is the outfit and pics.
The outfit
1) Burgundy colored "Attitude" by Jay Manuel ankle boots
2) black leggings
3) Suzy Shier white lace top with flower detailing
4) black Aldo handbag with gold detailingAnd here is the pics. I decide against my usual pics and poses. I wanted to recreate Taylor Swifts picture as much as possible. So I did 3 pictures. The first is the Taylor Swift picture that inspired my outfit. The second is my version of that picture. And the third is a picture of me and Taylor side by side in our "matching" outfits. I love how they turned out! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.

Have you lost weight?
Since I started wearing heels years ago maybe 5-10 lbs. Nothing significant

I was just curious if anyone has noticed themselves, or if it was possible for feet to shrink. I ask because mine seem to be doing just that! When I first started wearing heels My sizes were as follows. Men shoes size 8. Womens shoes size 9.5 or 10 with the ocassional 9. And my boot size was a 10. Now I find I can fit comfotably in some size 8.5 heels. I also purchased a pair of boots today that were marked a size 8. They looked a little big for their size but be that as it may, they fit perfectly! I also purchased a pair of male running shoes the other day. I am normally an 8 but all they had were a 7. And again they fit perfectly! And now some of my size 10's feel loose. Thoughts?

Here are my latest. I bought these in a local thrift store for less than $20! And as far as I can tell they have never been worn! The brand is Just Fab. They are brown with a suede like look to them. The heel is a chunky blade type. It measure around 4 inches. The are super comfortable and easy to walk in. Can't wait for fall weather so I can give these a whirl.

Welcome back

Here is my latest. The weather is starting to cool off here. Since we turned the page to August the temps have cooled off. It is still warm but not like it was even 2 weeks ago. Fall is definitely in the air now. Moy outing was short and uneventful as usual. So I will focus on my outfit.
My outfit was put together with some pieces I purchased recently. One of the local thrift stores was having a 50% off summer items sale. So the clothing I wore for this one probably cost me less than $10!
The Outfit
1) Steve Madden black sandals
2) George brand black and white patterned cropped pants
3) Tres You brand black top with deep v, rouching, and jeweled like embellishment
4) Guess brand red purse- 5

I'm loving this look!
I have a few rompers too - but I don't wear them enough mainly because I have to get right out of them to go to the toilet. Thats the big down-side with a romper or a playsuit. I literally have to strip right down to go to the toilet.
How do you get around that inconvenience?
By the way - I do love the look!!
Luckily the bathroom issue hasn't come up yet. But from what I have read on line getting out of it is the proper way.
