Great story. Sounds like you are in a good situation.

I didn't think anyone owned any shoes these days that needed to be cobbled
-
I have been trying to find a pair of Slingbacks myself. The hard part is finding a pair that don't look like clunkers in the front, which most usually are.
-
I guess I am going to find out

I wish the heel was a little higher also. But for only 10 bucks I wasn't going to complain too much lol

Here is my latest. They are from Aldo. The heel measures just under 4 inches. They are animal print, but they are patent at the same time. And the animal print and patent is on the bottom of the shoe as well, which I have never seen before. And the best part is they were only worn once, and I got them on a local buy and sell for 10 bucks!

If there is such a thing as a masculine looking boot, I think you may have found it.

Not sure if these will ever see the light of day @miroseplant I know absolutely that I have pairs of shoes that have never seen the light of day. As much as I love wearing heels, I know for a fact that I have bought shoes that I thought looked good, knowing full well they would never see the sunshine. Hopefully I am wrong about these and they do get to see the outdoors.

not sure if this is a step in the right direction or not. i still don't see much in the way of heels in those ads. i'd like to see a man in a business suit, or some form of normal dress, but wearing a pair of "so kates".

I don't even know what my number is these days. I really need to take another count. I think it's somewhere pushing a 100.

I agree puffer. Not a big fan of extreme platforms either. It does make them look clumpy.

Quite the collection my friend!

I've done it. But if I do it is not stilettos. It will be a boot of some kind with a thicker heel. And not too tall.

I do wonder how he managed to operate his pedalboard in heels.
Tapping switches is one thing, but operating a wah or expression pedal is hard when you (or at least I) have a high chance of the heel slipping off. I wonder if his footwear was why he used so many Boss pedals, their big lever switches are very pointy shoes (and thus heel) friendly.
perhaps. But also boss pedals are just good pedals. That is why they are so popular, and widely used.

Unfortunately, Men in Heels is not going to gain any steam or traction, until we see plenty of regular joe's wearing regular heels in places like Home Depot.
