  1. I went to counseling for a while for some other concerns and mentioned my heel wearing and fetish associated with heels. The only concern was what it may have meant or signified in the grand scheme. He never made any comment that sounded like he thought it was a bad thing.

  2. As a NYC native, we do have that sort of "tunnel vision" for better and worst. If it were April 4, I might have been able to join you for lunch. Be sure to check west 8th street starting from 5th ave and heading east. Shoe shops galore including patricia fields. Also, I think you'll find that wearing heels will be one of the more normal things being seen there. Enjoy!!

  3. At least in the US, I think society overall has gotten more tolerant of all "alternative" things. Look at how hair styles, ear rings and jewelry for men, tattoos, and tolerance for homosexuality have changed. Some time ago, you could suffer significant physical harm for engaging in an alternative lifestyle/fashion. While it can still happen today, I think it is much more likely. Comments.....

  4. You may be a crossdresser (CD). Statistics say that 90% or so of the CD's are heterosexual despite what many people say or assume. There are many CD website where you can find additional information and support.

  5. Though the lines look a little better on strapless, I prefer strapped as they are more likely to stay securely on your foot. Re: Howcool, I purchased from them some time back and had no problems. The only issue is when a shoe was out of stock, they had to wait for that "slow boat from China".

  6. Nice choice!! It may take a while to get used to those 5 inch heels, but you'll eventually do fine. Just don't rush it or force your body to do something it can't do too quick. Perhaps the next time your wife is wearing heels and talking about you wearing it (or complaining), tell her that if she buys the shoes, you will wear them. Maybe even out with her!

  7. I think part of the problem may be that the shoes may fit fine at the time of purchase, but be stretched as you wear them. That may necessitate purchasing shows that may be a bit tight so they fit after stretching from wearing. Or buying the heel pads to give a snugger fit.

  8. I would suggest Payless. You could go into the store and purchase whatever style/size you want. If you don't try it on in the store, you could do so in your car or home and exchange it later for a larger or smaller size. Also, you could time it so that fewer shoppers are around. And you'll find that most store clerks don't even bat an eye, especially if they're on commission. Mail order is fine, but them you have to contend with shipping if you have to send it back. I would recommend that only when you not only know your size but also how different shoes fit.
