  1. I don't know about Crocs. They are ugly, scray things...but I saw a friend's wife in them while fishing a month ago, and she made them HOT. Somehow..LOL

Did she forget the crocs in the sun?

    Maybe they melted...

  2. I have to give my two cents round this thread. As a married guy, my wife knows about my heel wearing. I told her before we got married. It was a nervous day for me. When I was preparing her with words like "I love you so much and I have to tell you something that is hidden from the world, nobody knows and you'll be the first one because I love you so much, it's not a usual thing but I can't hide this from you anymore, we can't get married without you knowing it" she started to be affraid of what I was going to tell her. She thought the worst things in the world. When the preparation got too long, she said "stop it and say soon!!!" I told "I have a passion for women's shoes. But it's not a simple passion, I don't only like to see and admire them but I also like to wear them" she started to laugh. And it was a loud laugh. After the laugh she (and I) was totally relaxed, I showed her some styles on the internet that I like and she told me "you're prohibited to have more shoes then my mom has". Well, after that day the rest is story but my life in heels are far from beeing perfect. I'm not a regular street heeler and she will never aprove that some friend of her sees me in heels at the streets. And yes, I'm affraid to embarass her if someone that knows her sees me in heels. So, I keep my street heeling carefully in selected places to protect HER, not myself. I really don't care if someone label me, but I don't want someone to label her. That's my thoughts about it. Take care of your wifes and respect their rights above everything. A marriage is a matter of two people that are different and have different views and tastes.

  3. For the brazilian buyiers:

www.eurico.com.br (good one, I visited the store personaly in Sao Paulo)

www.s-shop.com.br (the larger collection you can find on-line, serious seller)

    www.pegrande.com.br (never bought there)

www.brazilianorchid.com.br (for export, fine quality, designers)

www.sapato.com.br (ugly shoes, but they run large sizes)

www.aubottier.com.br (made to measure, good people, my favorite)

    www.egle.com.br (new on the internet)

    www.pedeanjo.com.br (don't like the styles)

www.fetishshiny.com.br (I know the owner, import shoes from order)

And don't forget the brazilian e-bay www.mercadolivre.com.br. Sometimes is possible to find large sizes there, I have bought some.

Some are good for people outside Brazil. Brazilian Orchid is focused in the international market.

  4. I have seem some men in heels in the fetish party I use to attend every month and I think that they look ok. I really don't care, everyone should wear what wants. I see a lot of people that wears "normal" clothes and shoes and wear then very badly.

  5. (...)

I wasn't talking about seeing someone and deciding to re-create that particular image.

I meant that dressing your legs in such a way that mimicked the female form

You would be creating before your own eyes and within your control, an image that appeared beautiful, elegant and attractive almost like you had transformed yourself partly into your idealized female form.

After reading this and thinking better, it seems that yes, it's approximately what I try to do. The image of the perfect legs and feet, but not exactly associated with the female form itself, but the heeled feet and legs per se.

Since the majority of heel wearers are women, I can say that I try to mimic the female forms in this case, you're right.

    Ok I'll shut up now.

    Oh please, don't do that!

  6. Dear Amanda, I don't think Pleaser's shoes are so bad. They're cheap because are usually man made materials and large scale produced. Of course they aren't like soft leather ones, but I had a pair of pumps that were very good looking, nice shape, 5 inch heels and seemed to have a solid construction. After 3 years of heavy wear, they had no problems at all. Oh, they were very confortable too, Pleaser makes large sizes and their US 14 are true fit. And many thanks for linking the store, I liked a lot.

  7. To the original question... Men would be saying "these shoes are killing me". Men would have a closet full of hundreds of shoes and saying "I don't have the right shoe for this outfit" (wich often happens to me). Men would be dancing barefeet in weddings because feet were burning as hell. Men would be taking shoes off to enter the boarding room in airports. And so on

  8. I voted yes because here in Brazil they would look like woman's shoes to the "regular" people. Anyway, the cowboy boots I'm wearing to work right now are 2 inches... But they are cowBOY boots. And I don't see too many BOYs wearing them around here, but the girls...

  9. Amanda, I think that there's no direct answer to your primary question, you will (and already got) mixed replies and tastes. My reply is no. I never tried or imagined to recreate a look I saw on the streets and liked. Of course, a pair of beautiful woman's legs over heels are eye catching. What I try to recreate is the feeling and look of the shoe on my foot itself. Everytime I wear my heels I like to look to the pointy toes and heels and think to myself "now I'm experiencing something that just a few men around the world can" and enjoy looking to my feet. But it's just me!

  10. In NY Macy's on 34th Street and the one in Yonkers both stock size 11. I bought a beautiful pair of Nine West black leather "Gallivant" knee high stiletto boots in the Yonkers store.

This is what I call heeling!

The look is perfect. My mouth still open because of the boots.

    Congratulations!!!

  11. Going totally contrary to the tendency of this thread, I did it myself. I always self-studied how shoes are made, I'm not a pro like Dr. Shoe. Since I have some hand tools and like to work with wood and make things in my own house, I decided to do that with my beloved 5 inches. They were 5.5 before the job. 5.5 was to high for me. I did a lot of trainning in then and never was able to walk gracefully since my calf didn't stretch the way I can do a step without pain when the foot goes forward. I waited more then an year to decide what to do. Since I'm very busy lately, I didn't have time to go to a cobbler. I started studying my boots. First step, simulation. I putted the boots on a corner of a table and saw the angle of the original heel and how it would be after the job. I realised that 1cm (0.5 inch approx.) would do a very small angle to the verticallity of the heel. Little or no problem. The point of the toebox would be a little more springed, no trouble at all. Second step, removing heeltips. WARNING! these boots have wood heels and they are not regular stilletos, they are a bit chunkier then stilletos. They don't have the inner metal where the heeltip fits. Don't do this in your boots if they have regular plastic or inner metal heels or if you don't know what you're doing! To remove the heeltips, since they were glued, was just a matter of carefully taking them with a sharp tool. Then, unglue the leather around the area I want to remove. Perfect, no damage 'till here. After that, was to mark and cautiously saw the heels. Perfect. A little finishing so the wood was plain. With a sharp knife I cutted out the excess of leather. Finishing with superglue. Superglue did the job to the tips after cautious cleaning and plainning them. PERFECT. Walking in them was a pleasure I never had before! I was capable of confortably walk in them and spend a lot of time without hurt! The angle was a bit bad looking. I solved that holding the boots firmly with my hand (no tools here please) and with the other hand firmly and cautiously pushing the arch of the boot to make a new shape to the inner steel shank. Since the difference was minimum, there was no risk to ruin the boots. The results? Are on my feet now. I love them and will wear them forever. They are the greatest shoe I ever had. Beautiful, warm, sexy, practical and more comfortable then any "men's" or "women's" shoe I have. A lesson: now I know exactly my limit of 5 inches heels.

  12. I'm sorry I can't help you telling some place to go find your boots since I'm from Brazil. What I can say is that I have a pair of custom made shoes. They were very expensive, about US$200 4 years ago. A pair of good ready boots costs less then US$50 around here. The point is that the boots are worth every cent!!! they fit like gloves in my feet, they are more comfortable then any shoe I have (including the men's ones) and they are 5 inches high, very soft leather and the design was chosen by me and made exactly how I expected. My recomendation is that if you can pay the price and know a trusty place to do it, go for it!

  13. The shoes I have are very soft and never gave me blisters. I prefer to wear the thighest ones with nylons or male social socks and my 5 inch kneehighs with sports socks for better fitting and comfort. Not cheating at all, my wife does it everytime she's in boots.

  14. (...)

    Tell me what you think..

    (...)

Nice find, I didn't know such accessory existed.

Of course is better to wear chunk heels or flats on the grass but carry shoes to change in a party is not practical.

As a man that is starting to street heeling I never had problems since I choose were I go before putting my beloved heels on but I know women like and sometimes have to wear stilletos in grass weddings.

    Many thanks Ninanoora!
