  1. I just quoted an inappropriate answer from the admin above. It automatically felt into approval before publishing. I hope it gets published. I have a screenshot of it. For the sake of this forum that I appreciate for a lot of time.
  2. Today's shoes. It's sunny so I want to shine. These are Asos' . Unfortunatelly too much plastic but it looks very good on feet and goes perfectly with jeans. It's falling appart because well beaten up but I like it too much to just throw away. I have the same model in black. Interesting facts about these Asos: - red ones are man made upper with rubber soles, threads undoing in some parts. Made in China. Cobbler doesn't want to repair anything. - black ones have leather upper with synthetic soles, threads in perfect shape. Made in India. Cobbler already repaired soles and heel caps. I didn't see this before, better to have a good late answer than nothing because it *needs* an answer. These boots are jaw dropping and the whole outfit is beautiful and classy. I'm jealous. Hope your year is going well passed two months already Keep up the good taste.
  3. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. And it goes very well with the top that covers just enough.
  4. It went well but I was not retained. Technical reasons, not related to footwear. I'm not unemployed so this is not a sad story, it was a try to change for better. Anyway, job interviews in heels are a lot more fun.
  5. Seems like metal fatigue, old loved shoes, perfect combo. Anyway, walking back home with the head up proudly is what matters, and the good story to tell if course. Heels had broken on me once at work but there was an incident, I tipped on a stage that was not supposed to be where I was walking. And actually it was the shank mount that got broken, not the heel like yours, a bit harder to fix but I made it, after commuting back home with a loosen heel at 9pm...

This sounds like a lot of fun.
  7. The whole outfit is gorgeous. Boots and long coat are my favourite style. And I think you're nailing it Thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks, I also think they're quite conservative as heels but noticeable somehow. It's a long wool shirt. My wife borrowed it from me to use as a dress. Now you're giving me ideas... I really love those boots, classy, comfy, sturdy, warm. Very well, they should make an offer. I'll let you know as soon as it comes to a deal. I had prevented the recruiter that I'm non-binary beforehand so they were informed. Anyway, it's not usual...
  9. Outfit for a job interview this afternoon. Will they hire me? Zoom in the boots
  10. I don't find it beautiful, sorry. The foot curve that makes high heels appealing to me gets strange with a too high of a heel. If it's your cup of tea, go for it, do what you feel good doing. It's always rewarding and I feel your feelings. Anyway, I had worn 5 inch stiletto pumps on the street once. It was too challenging for me because of the uneven pavement, made me tip and the shoe even got out of my feet once. Nobody got a second glimpse, the problem was only in my head and it got away. I had a fire crazy night out that day. We all need to experiment to feel alive, kudos man !
  11. I was waiting for this question 😝 Here it is. The first one was wearing white boots with high Cuban heels. I'd say around 3 inch. Very fashionable on other clothes also. He was walking on the street, close to where I work. Something like this: Not obvious men's shoes what do you think? I'd wear them without a second glimpse. The second guy was in a train station, platform opposite then mine, plain view for me. Wife with me, I said he had more courage than me in his choice. Zebra boots with thin heels like this: My jaw dropped and I was jealous. How fancy it was. He had also other beautiful fashion clothes like a long coat. It was a quite cold Sunday in Paris. He was talking with a friend or boyfriend, I don't know, he seemed very well on his skin, big smile, enjoying his life. Those encounters made my week. It's not rare I come across men in heels in Paris but two in a week is a first. Happy to be part of this also 😁
  12. I'm always looking on what other people are wearing on their feet, the functional trend is here but a good part of women still benefit on their liberties and remain wearing high heels or other fancy shoes. What is overwhelming is that, in a single week, I've seen two men (other than me) wearing high heels in quite fashionable ways and that makes me very happy.
  13. Bought on Amazon, seller from China, very cheap but better made than some more expensive European manufacturers, very solid until now. Size is CN 49 (equivalent to EU 47), heels between 8 and 9 cm, round toes, very very comfortable, I'm in love. Faux fur interior (very warm, it's -2 C here today and I felt hot), faux leather. So today's outfit for the office, let's see if they are durable enough.
  14. I was born and raised in Brazil before moving to France in 2014. I had the same "Europeans are more openminded than Brazilians" mindset and I was wrong. I learnt that you'll find all kinds of stupid people anywhere in the world. The way politics or laws work are one thing but the way people behave is always a liberal/conservative variable ratio. Even in the most unfriendly countries you will find smart people. I've used block heels (3 inch max) on planes but my flying shoes more recently are 2 inch clogs. I like to have easy to stepin/out shoes when in airports security and planes. Practical. I still have to do a real heel experience in my origin country. The max I did there was 2 inch clogs. Same. Men, women and a mix of them always get my attention when wearing pretty footwear.
  15. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm doing random heelings it's been 1.5 years now and having almost the same no-big-deal thing. I rarely got compliments from strangers, 3 to be exact, all from men. I've got one laugh from a girl on a group of teenagers at the street in plain daylight but not sure it was on me. I've got stares from a right-wing radical group at a McDonalds restaurant once. No problem in the end but I know I was on their radar. I was with wife and kids so I found it threatening for them. Anyway, I try to be careful where I go and avoid heels on small villages where I can find trouble. Don't know how it goes in England but I see you're doing the experiment
  16. To differentiate men from women. Men's shoes have to be ugly, gross, big, bold so they're manly. Some say...
  17. Not only beautiful fancy boots, they go well with the rest of the outfit. Looks adapted too to biker lifestyle (I'm not one so it's only a view from outside).
  18. After all those years trapped in "men's" clothes and shoes, I started my transition to clothes and shoes I want to dress, in my daily life, about 2 years ago. I regret not being able to do so before with a feeling of lost time, but it's part of who I am. I think it's important to understand yourself, having names or accronims to put you in one of the "boxes" society has created makes it easier to some individuals. If it's the case for you, you're not doing harm to anyone else, your partners and the ones you love to have around are ok with you, go for it, live your life, be what you want to be, smile, move forward. I have "crossdressed" before, it was good. Dressing as a regular man, feels ok too. Dressing as I want to dress - that's premium. Mixing "women's" and "men's" wardrobe is just amazing for me, makes me feel alive. I don't have a name of acronym to describe what I am. Some say non-binary. I can live with that. But I'll always be Flavio. It's always good to read you kneehighs. Keep safe, Flavio
  19. Not so cold today, so ankle boots. First time on the streets with stilettos, a bit challenging but I'm managing. They're 10cm high, 1cm more than my highest before in public, so it's a win These boots have soft leather, it adds a lot to the confort, other boots I have with lower heels are more stiff and feel less comfortable. Love the feeling anyway.
  20. Today's office boots. 5cm heels only but warm boots, it's getting cold here in Paris.

The ones in the right don't look that bad but maybe they stretched too much to remain comfortable... I like when people try to engage a conversation about shoes, maybe she was trying to ask where you bought them so she can have the same? (I'm sure you have the information about how her face looked at the very moment anyway) Never had unknown women talking about my shoes at public places but I got complimented 3 times by unknown men. I really like your wedges, yet to find some that look good in my size.
  22. Same office, same me, different shorts and boots.
  23. At home - wooden clogs 6cm heels, all the time. When kids not around I go higher. At work - various types of heels, highest 9cm, lowest 6cm, sometimes knee high flat boots. My new craze for autumn/winter, boots with shorts, flats or with heels. Out and about - it depends. When kids around, 7cm block heels (like country boots but higher and rounded toes. Or 6cm rubber clogs. I stepped down from very high thin stilettos. Lower heels are easier and can be beautiful also, being more comfortable to me at my current age and body mass. So the quick answer to the question is yes
  24. I always see these in their web site but wanted to know before buying: How is sizing in your opinion? They look really good for the office, you push them well, congrats !
