  1. I voted both, because I really don't know if society is going tolerant since they don't see guys in heels around, but, people are getting tolerant here in Brazil regarding gays, tatoos, piercings, etc... which is good for my heeling experiences.

  2. It would be a fun evening, although I think unless JeffB makes it over, I might not have as much luck, since I have those cursed size 14/15 turnovers. :w00t2:

You and JeffB are not alone!

    I'm 13, 14 depending on the manufacturer :santa_hat:

  3. Via Marte, Via Uno and other quality good looking brazilian shoes, congratulations Gony! I always take some time looking at them in the internet and shopping malls. Unfortunatelly, they are not available in my size :santa_hat:

  4. Boots, all of them, even flats are incredible, agreed. I prefer knee lenght myself. Riding boots are the latest fashion on the streets of São Paulo, for women of course. But hey, they were designed primarily for men!!! In the other side, ankle boots with high heels are amazing too.

  5. Because they're bloody sexy!

I even find the word "boots" intrinsically erotic!

You got it! Agreed. Why are boots so interesting? I just love them.

Interesting is that the thread started as just heels, but boots have a legion of loyal fans.

  6. Great that you brought this thread back Johnie! I agree with the question from the first poster, downstairs is the most difficult thing to do in heels BUT holes in the walkway. I turned my ankles while in 5 inches the last time I was in the street in them and stepped in a hole without warning, what a shame. Wasn't hurt in the end, but it's dangerous. Downstairs is really a challenge. I can't do it without holding firmly (trying to pass confidence, of course).

  7. I wear heels because I like the feeling in my feet and the snugginess of this kind of shoe. My prefeered are boots exactly because they have a total different feeling in the feet compared to 'regular' male shoes. In the second place in my podium is the look. Women's shoes tend to have lots of different styles, colors and shapes, what I think is wonderful in our lifes. Male shoes are just... boooooooring...

  8. Since I have very big feet and it's almost impossible to find shoes in my size in Brazil, I have to import them or pay too expensive to make them custom (the look results varies) so I have some techniques: - Talcum Powder seems to work sometimes; - Supermarket plastic bags - this is absolutely great, they work better then nylon socks, just put your feet in them and slip-on; - Stretch the shoe is the last alternative (for me), it can be done two ways, with a stretcher (takes more time) or take a good quantity of wet newspaper and put firmly on the shoe for a day or two; - There's a stretching technique I didn't try myself, is to make the shoe wet, wear it and dry it with a hairdryer, but I really don't know if this technique ruin the shoe.

  10. Back to this thread...

I still have to take the pictures, I was too busy at work, there wasn't time for it. I promisse they will come.

I've got some news, I did it again! This time I was wearing the boots on this thread http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/guys/6091-street_party_heeling_i_did_didnt_hurt.html but with black pants and grey shirt, in another edition of the party.

This time I came with my wife. Sincerely, I don't think that someone (that didn't know me) saw that I was wearing 5 inch boots. No one asked anything.

The different thing is that these boots are too high and my feet were painful at the end, because I stayed the most of the time at my feet, no time to seat.

It was a fun time again and can't wait for the next time to do it.

One thing to remember: sandals, even beeing 4 inch, cause more fuzz in men's feet and take more attention from other people.

I think I can walk in black boots at night and no one in the street will notice at all!

  11. US women's size 13 or 14, depending on the manufacturer. Big, very big...

Don't get bored by it Higharch. It's the same situation for me.

Since the foot appears to be smaller when in heels it's fine to have a big pair

  12. After some replies I understood the real meaning of this thread. Yes, it's a lot difficult to find out when it's time for shopping. Women have made misery in credit cards because of fashion. For sure some people need to control their expenses in shoes, I think. Had some conversation with my wife about this subject last week.

  13. It's a great project Histiletto, I like the idea and will think about it. I just have to remember you the advice given by other experienced streetheelers here. Since man in heels is such a social problem for more then half of our members, make it public can be complicated to them, and they like the way we are here, anonymous faces on the internet. I'm one of the ones that are getting out of the closet after several years of shame in four walls, and I don't think on wearing it regularly as daily shoes yet. Just to think about it, please. Another idea to talk about the subject can be writing a book with compiled stories and anonymous names. It's more to the cult side in my opinion too and a easier, cheapier, faster project to realize.

  14. I really never saw a one-legged lady in heels before (but this thread) but a week ago I saw a blind one, in nice 4'' heels and tittering with her bengal around the walkway. I was impressed! For those that don't know Sao Paulo, there's lots of holes in the walkways around here. When I was freestyling last saturday I changed to lower heels because of holes. The blind girl looked like a heroine for me!

  15. (...) I've been considering those kinde of parties myself, especially since I learned that many of the women that come to them actually enjoys men in heels.

You're quite right! Some women came to me to say "Your look is incredible, black pants and sandals match". Since I'm married I didn't want anything with those girls but it is clear enough to say that yes, they enjoy it.

At fetish parties you are always welcome. People that go there are very open-minded and nothing can make them loose their face. They have seen everything you can imagine, plus more.

I was at one yesterday evening and it was a blast, as usual. Although I have to admit I go a "little" bit further in my outfits than just the heels. Those of you that comes to Torture Garden in February will see it.......

Also, as you say, you make a lot of friends at these places. And if any of you have any doubts, there are numerous girls/women that are interested/likes guys in heels.

That was amazing. I was more than welcomed there, much more than any other regular party I was on. Seems that the open-mindness in this public is a norm (I can think why).

About the fetish outfit, It was only heels for me. The rest was regular clothes.

A lot of friends, for sure. And some business too!!!

Wow! Spend a night in high heeled sandals...great!

    Waiting for the pics.

My dear brazilian friend, I was too happy and thought about your love for sandals when I was there. I discovered a party like this in Rio de Janeiro, it's called "GoGo Night". Why don't you consider taking your wife to such an open-minded place? Keep waiting for the pics, please, the clothes are still not ready.

    Congratulations!

Maybe you can start wearing high heeled boots with block heels as I do here eventually during my job's lunch time at downtown Rio de Janeiro. Used with normal jeans nobody gives it a damm, even with its 9 centimeters fully exposed.

I have come to the conclusion that the thinner the heel, the most people notice it (and make strange looks), independently of the heel height.

    Keep on heeling, my friend!

Thanks Celso! I really like heels but my favorite are the most feminine ones. I think I'll keep my heeling for special places for a while. And it's good to have some adventures sometimes.

Cool! Sounds like you had a great time, and nice shoes!

Many thanks radiodave! These sandals are very confortable for a night out in heels. After 15min walking around I just forgot that I was in heels.
