I don't want or need approval to wear high heels. I just wanted to be sure that I could safely walk in high heels in the street anytime I wanted, approved or not. My answer is none. Sao Paulo in Brazil is getting more dangerous every day. My wife was assaulted 3 days ago by a guy with a gun, I thank everyday she's alive. We have the largest gay parade of the world and every day an homossexual is violented around here. Street heeling is not so safe around this part of the world.

Even beeing in polish the video is great! Thanks for posting! If some good polish soul could transcript it and translate to english would be very nice, specially to see what those girls were saying about him. And, as someone recognized here, he's a techie guy as most of us in this very forum, he's a computer geek I think based on the video?

I marked boots and sandals. But was just because I don't have pumps or wedges Otherwise I would be wearing any style.

I agree there. Love that pic!
Agreeeeeeeeeeed tooooo!!!

Awesome, both pumps and boots. I like boots more, but I never had a great pair of pumps like those. Congratulations.
-
Simply... WOW Love them hidden under pants AND in full show. Super congratulations in this fantastic pair. You appear to be happy in a shoe that fits well, I'm a big foot and know exactly what you're talking about.

I have no problems in the complete path as in Thighbootguy's original post. I'm a fan of him and it's up to him if he wants to go until full crossdressing. I really don't care about a crossdress post here on the forum for the guys too, since crossdressers ARE GUYS. Back to the original topic... I went to the step "Wear heels in public" and maybe I should go to "Wear leather gloves" that I like, but they are not necessarily a "socially female" garment. I was crossdressed once to a costume party as posted in a specific topic as a excuse to wear my boots in the streets. I really didn't like it (the look in the mirror, the party was a lot of fun) and don't want to crossdress regularly, maybe as an excuse again, but not as a real crossdresser.

Those hidden platforms really make a nice look for a pump, the shoe is a must have. Someone have to bring back that leg contest, don't you think?

Nothing about men in heels, but a very interesting approach for androginous looks. Many many thanks for your find, Pam!
-
Not my piece of cake, but seems to have a nice feeling and should be fun to wear them.

Some of you must know I'm 203cm (6ft 8in) and never meet woman higher then me. Some very high (more then 180cm) but never close. My wife is 158cm (5ft 2in) very small person. I would be very happier if I was a bit small, with smaller feet to find shoes easier. It's very difficult to find my size in Brazil, even the stores that carries larger ones are smaller then I need.

Many many thanks Kennard. I'm very fortunate to have Casa Eurico's store very close. I was there several times to buy "men's" and "women's" shoes. The staff is really helpful and don't care if you're a guy in high heels. A large amount of their customers are men, travestites and crossdressers, so they really don't care and, if you ask politely, they have a part of the store so you can try on your purchases away from the view of other customers. But I tryied heels in front of everyone once and nobody took a second glance

It's a great post Thighboots2 and I agree with you in some way or another. My thoughts in your point are the following: Yes, some women choose their shoes as they are functional, classy, stylish, coordinating, fashion. Some women wear heels to look taller. Some women collect hundreds of pairs just because they are "to die for" on the store. Some other consider shoes as real jewels (look to Jimmy Choo's prices) as a status simbol (I can buy, you can't). But some women wear heels to look sexy and attractive, to be looked by man and other women, to show power above others. I don't think we should wear heels and other "feminine" shoes in a way it perfectly shows our masculinity when matching. I think that if you're a man that feels classy when in heels, wear it classy. If you feel sexy, wear it sexy. If you feel different, make it like our friend Shock Queen. I think everybody, heelers, skaters, fashionists, fetishists, men, women, girls, boys, should wear what they want, the way they want, to show personality and to feel good. Be accepted is good, I know. But be myself is way much better. I'm not hurting anyone.

Not my style, but the height and small platform seems to have a great feeling to wear and walk in. It seems to float your boat very well, congrats

A great pair Marcus! Congratulations on your purchase. Really classy and beautiful boots. I love boots, you all know...
-
I don't think so. The construction of the shoe and the balance it provides considering the perfect attachment of the heel on the sole, the hardness of the shank and the positionning of the toebox regarding the landing on the floor is what makes a shoe confortable and walkable for me. I have well made sandals that are way more easy to walk then some cheap boots I bought some time ago of the same heel height. A shoe constructor once told me that the secret for a great balance in high heeled shoes is the part of the ball of the foot. If it's positioned in a way that the ball touches firmly on the floor, the shoe is easier to balance. If the ball of the foot don't touch the floor completely of if the point of the shoe touches the floor first, the shoe is hard to manage and a loss of balance can happen and you fall. On the other way, I have a custom made pair of boots that fit my ankles perfectly, are soft leather and don't restrict my movements. I don't think it helps to give support to the ankles.
-
I really love thin stiletto heels, but considering the construction of some shoes, blade heels, cone and cuban can look great and coordinates better. Block square heels are a no go for me, they usually look like astronaut's boots, to heavy. Maybe when walking on the grass they can be used, but changed back to something more delicate when back to the hard floor.
-
Hi kennard, it's good to see you around! Congratulations on your purchase, I liked a lot of the strappy model.
-
Now that you brought it up, I have seen women sit on the floor with knees bent and feet easily flat on the floor when it's difficult for me to to that. My ankles just are no as flexible as most women's are.
What about the image attached?
This is a brazilian actress called Claudia Raia, famous for her shoe taste.
The image is the cover of an old Long Play of the sound track of a brazilian soup opera.
Look at her feet and see how she can sit in that manner and touch both the heel and point of the shoe on the floor at the same time.
I doubt I can make it barefoot

1) Bored
2) Same as euchrid
Jealous... of all those lucky people who are wearing them
Unfortunatelly I fell this way everyday, except during my latest adventures clubbing in fetish parties.

A combination of all factors for me.

Congratulations my friend! Read your stories are the best way to remember how good was my times when I was single. Be married is very good, of course, but those moments when single where enjoiable. Unfortunatelly I didn't have the courage to wear my heels at the street at that time, but it's another conversation...
