  1. The first time I remember was at 24. I bought a pair of gold sandals from de internet in a store that carried my size. They arrived home in a box, my mom received it and fortunatelly she didn't open. When I was alone I had my first heel feeling. I will remember that day for the rest of my life.

  2. JeffB my friend!!! I loved the song! As a big feet member around here, I couldn't agree more with your feelings.

Maybe someone around here is a music freak and can make a sound base to record the song?

Very, very true! I go between the 11 and 12 sizes and find that the 11 1/2 is almost impossible to find and when you do, stylish - no, no, no!!! And talk about size standards - Steve Madden really takes the cake! Even his size 12 fits like a small 11. I also find that any shoes made in Brazil, regardless of label, run small.

I don't agree this time dear Bootking.

I have brazilian shoes marked as 43 (US 12) that fits me like a glove and I'm brazilian 45 (between US 13 and 14).

Exactly as it happens all around the world, the size depends totally on the manufacturer and shoe model.

What is happening to you maybe is that brazilian exporters use to believe in size convertion charts. I never saw one matching to another, what a shame.

  3. I'm very fortunate that here in Sao Paulo girls are wearing gorgeous shoes everyday. We are in the winter here and gorgeous boots are seen all around in the subway (metro for some folks) and the streets near work places. In parties and clubs as well.

  4. I actually liked the picture (I'm not gay) and I live in the city with the largest gay pride parade of the world (it's in the Guiness Book) and I think that everyone is free to show to the world what wants to be and the gay parade is a perfect place to be free without beeing fingerpointed. Every minority should have the right to have the space to show up it's prides.

  5. I've been asked, mainly by women and its nomally at work but I have been asked by men on the odd occasion which, when it first happened, I thought was a little odd but since I've joined the forum I now understand a bit more so if I get asked now I'm still surprised but flattered and I normally say "your abit brave aren't you?" to break the ice abit which is always well received.

Good to read it from you, Sue!

It's nice when we know exactly how the other gender thinks, don't you agree?

It helps to make a little sense in actions we never realize why happens.

Oh, if it was possible to understand my wife sometimes...

  6. Back to the original thread... The movie is great and a must watch to everyone. My mom was one that changed a bit after watching it with me and my wife. It takes a lot of misconception about transgendered people out. PS.: I live in Brazil that is going to kick some buts in UN because our ethanol is not the reason why the food is too expensive in Europe. Yes, our country is greener. It can be better of course.

  7. Kerosene is a great product you can use to clean bubble gums damage to shoes, clothes and even the car painting. Contrarily to what you may think, kerosene is not a dangerous product for clothes and shoe finishing, since it vapourizes quickly and has no ink in its formula. If a gum sticks on your hair you can use kerosene too but avoid to smell it. Use a small amount and wash your hair just after the gum is removed.

  8. There's always a special feeling when I put my heels on. But I think I got what you said, before the first time I put my feet on high heels the feeling was way more special. Heels were such an unreacheable thing at that time, I was always wondering and dreaming about the feeling of that things in my feet. After my "first time" things changed a bit. It's not a dream anymore but there's always something speciall in the air.

  9. They are ugly and too low. But it's a start. Thinking again, other designers did better things about men in heels, see Jean Paul Gartier, Dior and so on, and those were _heels_ if you know what I mean.

  10. Hy kennard! Nice find on mercadolivre.com.br! I bought shoes over there once, it's a real nice place to find larger shoes, specially if I want to buy some from outside Brazil that are available in good prices and no import tax. Congratulations and send us the pictures when they arrive!

  11. It can work or not. In my opinion today's fashion is directly driven by media, movies, soup operas (specially around here in Brazil), pop bands. Since we saw runway male models in heels before, and since runway fashion in generally not "pret'a porter" but _usually_ a crazy mix of nightmares of the designer, I dunno if that works. What I see in the streets is a real legion of pop fans wearing what they see on TV, movies and show tours.

  12. Nice thread this one...

    My dreams, all right? Ok.

In your dreams or in reality... What could/do you wear:

    1. To work. Assuming it's some sort of office based environment.

Black suit, white shirt, tie and pointy boots with 4 inches heels under the pants.

You can see this look in the girls of CSI on TV but the tie. I love their boots, they are stunning, slim, great shape.

    2. Out to a casual but nice dinner followed by some sort of late night evening out/party.

The same look as in the office, no tie and maybe a color shirt.

    3. To actually try to impress a member of the opposite sex (let's pretend they are receptive to the idea of someone wearing what they like if it's well sorted/assembled and tasteful)

A good jeans, polo shirt, brown chunky heeled brown boots worn outside pants.

    4. To a formal event i.e a wedding.

Black tie and 5 inch pumps.

    5. A party hosted by yourself. With carefully invited guests only.

The finest patent red thighhigh boots of the world, leather shorts and some kind of leather gogo shirt.

NO PHOTOS OF PUBES, HAIRY LEGS OR PLASTIC LAP DANCER PLATFORMS PLEASE!

Just words... all looks are fictional and even don't have any pictures of them.

  13. I think everybody has to buy and wear (or drive) what fits the feet and pocket as well. Pleaser is a brand that carries large sizes and I appreciate them just for making nice shoes in my size available in a good price. I had a pair of pumps that lasted for several years and were thrown out just because I wanted to hide them from my new girlfriend and that time. About Peugeot, well, I have a small 206 that is brave enough to the terrible streets of Sao Paulo and the maintenance cost is very low. Oh yes, it runs ethanol AND gasoline (we call it flexfuel around here) and no Mercedes does it for me

  14. Very nice article! I was just a bit affraid in the beggining that your story was in a route to disaster and in the end you would be regretting and telling that you quitted and went to a "regular male" living. Very nice it didn't happened!!!

  15. Hey all, just did a couple new pics so I thought I'd share.

This one isn't something I think I would wear out. I made the skirt from an old pair of pleather pants, which is why it looks shabby, I did it just so I could see what it looks like if I had a decent one.

I like the look a lot, the leather skirt matches very well with knee boots.

Just a comment, next time double check your zipper. It's open!

  16. Hard choice but i'd have to say hell.

All those heels and you can't even wear a pair lol.

    (...)

    Exactly what I thought.

Would be heaven if in heels and all the other things you said.

What I hate MOST when I'm around lots of beautiful women and her wonderful heels is that I'm not wearing them.

  17. (...)

It is a small world after all, even in a city of almost 9 million people.

    (...)

Sao Paulo metropolitan area has almost 13 milion people and I keep an eye open to avoid meeting people I don't want to see me in heels...

Kneehighs you're da man! Meet a girl 2.5 years later and she remembers your eyes and heels!!! What did you do to her that time?
