  1. here a vintage pic of Human League (80ties)

"She was working as a waitress in a coctail ba-ar"

    love to all

    Great find heeluis!

I was a huge fan of human league (still have one cassete around my stuff) but never realised the guys wore heels!

    Many many thanks!

Kneehighs, the third one is an impressive shot!

    It deserves a poster.

  2. Unfortunatelly I don't have a pair of white shoes. I bought a pair of white ankle boots online that I had to return because didn't fit. But yes, I would wear a pair like the bootkings ones for sure. They are very beautiful. The world needs more colors. Everything is so black, white and the shades of grey between them. And I'm too tired of the "basic black" women say all the time around here in Brazil.

  3. Great look Mr. X. Exactly how I like to dress in heels at home, boots and pants. At home I wear jeans and when out I use black pants. i just find it so easy on the eyes, why people complain?

  4. Since I'm one of the 3 biggest ones (more than 6'6'') I had some experiences in the last months that are worth sharing around here. When I go to public places I aways draw a lot of attention, what I really don't like since I'm a bit shy. I have a lot of problems like: I don't fit well in small cars to drive and large ones are expensive around here; I don't fit at all in regular airplane seats, just can't sit, always have to ask for the emergency exit; Same in any bus; Everybody asks me if I play basketball when in an elevator; People get a (bad) surprise when don't see me and quickly turn their heads up; Someones laugh at me and I'm not Bozo. How to wear heels regularly without embarassement? I swear I'm trying people...

  5. Dear newbie, one more welcome to you! Beeing afraid about heels in the age you are is completely normal and I'm sure that 99% of the male heelers here felt the same, me included. You should be living under your parents roof and, of course, is a lot more difficult to be yourself without embarassement. When I was 24 and got my own flat to live in another city my freedom turned easier and I felt that my mind was my only jail. About friends, girls and guys, always remember your mother. I'm pretty sure that she told you to choose well who you walk with in the past.

  6. Hey Johnie!

So many different kinds and styles of heels. They have all been labeled from casual to fetish to sexy etc. etc.

The one thing they all are is FUN!

Of course they're all a lot of fun!

But remember that life should be fun, so be casual can be fun for someone while sexy can be fun for others and tarty also can be fun.

My question is, do you think men wearing heels in public could possibly change the way people think about the different labels that heels have been marked with so that ALL heels will be looked upon for simply FUN instead of the person wearing 5 or 6" heels or thigh highs be labeled as hooker, kinky, or what ever some day?

The short answer to your question is a big YES in my opinion.

But I also think that fun is just a short term for it, since beeing kinky is also a great form of having fun, see the movie "Kinky Boots" for example. That movie talks about beeing kinky, sexy, "out of the norm" and fun at the same time. The movie made me think about my heel wearing, society and beeing happy at the same time.

Take Thighbootguy for example. He lives a life style that is pretty much to the norm and wears thigh high boots every where without any problems for the most part. Now you put a woman in those same boots and a lot of people might think a lot of wrong things if you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean. But why should we live around "norms"?

Why isn't the "norm" just the respect for each other's lives and showing some sense of dignity? Heels are proved related to sex by psiquiatrists phisicians for some part of the people and women still wearing them to show up their sexyness.

Maybe we should discuss this some more around this thread...

  7. (...)

As far as I know, high heels have never been associated with being gay. People are much to quick to judge.

Yes Johnie, misjudgement is a terrible thing, you're right.

In my opinion, the confusion with heels and gays are related to travestites that are gay AND wear women attire including heels. Sometimes they are prostitutes and are in full view in the streets seeking for clients.

Drag Queens usually are artists and are gay or straight.

Maybe those are the reasons behind this misconception.

  8. Kneehighs is really a great member here and I'm thankful to him when he asked me to translate some spanish posts in a forum to english sometime ago, he gave me the full credit for that job, what started me to post even more here and discuss any subject that I liked, something like it broke the ice for me. We exchanged some e-mails later on what makes kneehighs a good friend. He's a person I didn't had the opportunity to meet personally, but I'm convinced that anyone here that met him in NYC or in the heelmeets had great time with him. I don't know the reason why he don't like long term relationships with the stunning girls he knows in the streets of our small world but one thing is clear for me: it's too difficult to continue to travel the world and meet new people while you're commited to a serious relationship. But it's not a rule, I'm sure. The best for you, my friend!

  9. I went into a local mall and went into the store called Charlotte Russe. They had pumps for sale for $22.99, and you buy a second pair for $10. I found some nice black ones with a bow on them, like Jessica Simpson's "Bacton" pump. I also found a hot red pair but they didn't have my size. I found some other red ones that will be ok.

Both are wonderful but the black ones are a rare especimen! They are so beautiful!

  10. Yes you do. I, too, like the denim. The skirt, the high heels and the jacket look so good on you. Keep them coming. We really like your style.

I have to be honest here. I don't think the jacket is coordinating.

The look of the shoes and the denin skirt is classy and easy on the eyes, but the jacket remembers something more sporty.

Maybe a tuxedo jacket would look better, but it's MY opinion. If it floats your boat, go ahead.

All your attitude is great at all! Congratulations!

  11. yeaaa...im leaning towards 2.

im wondering if its one of those shoes that look not tall but when u wear it...its different..like u know some outfits on the rack u look at and think "ummmmmmm hhhmmmmmmmm ahhhhh hmmm" and then u try it on and it looks amazing....i dunno...but thanks billyb

Number 2, number 2, number 2 (that's the crowd yealling)

  12. Women will never have to worry about loosing there edge when wearing anything. A woman can put on a ball cap and look sexy as most men I know wear ball caps to hide there hair loss spot.lol

    Women, we hate them...

They wake up in the morning with that hair from the full night and you look to them and find them beautiful...

They come home, clothes off and take that horrible basketball team shirt go sleep and you find them sexy...

They use that green mask on the face and you find them lovely...

They clip their hair when they need to work and you find them powerful...

They get ungry with you and you can't stop looking in their eyes...

    Women, WE LOVE YOU!

  13. Guys wearing heels are just a sense of fashion, sexyness, feeling and sense for all us heelers. A movement like woman wearing pants in the past was not just a movement for ladies in pants - was a movement for ladies freedom and social justice, the pants where just the icon, that became commom fashion in the end and the simbol of the free women. I don't think we need a movement for acceptance since it will never solve nothing, either it changes some minds or not. What I think is that to wear heels regularly, specially here in this "macho" country, is that it should become mainstream someway in the local fashion industry. I keep my heeling indoors and some selected night clubs for a while and cautiously in the way from the door to my car. Of course I'm trying to save money to go to England and the participate the heelmeet where I will be totally comfortable around our friends here and show the world I can wear heels, unfortunatelly when you're married your money serves both and common priority is not that this time.

  14. roniheels, what an amazing story!!! I liked a lot, enjoy reading every part. Your outing is interesting specially because of the caveats you experienced. It's a lot like the real world is about closed minds, conservative people, concepts and youngsters in their full testosterone of the puberty. Many many thanks for your piece!

  15. I do wear my boots to bed sometimes, it's a good sensation yet I prefer to go walking around in them. I slept wearing them once and was interesting to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom... I forgot I was wearing them and had to hold myself in the walls to not fall:nervous: What me and my wife do between four walls wearing boots (us both) are too much to talk here in the forum, but is wonderful!

  16. Hehe, on a serious note, like all things in life, there's sooo much room at the top, that in our close knit community, I look at it more as cooperation than competition.

On a lighter note, I'll let the girls be the final judge.

You said well and said it right kneehighs! A real gentleman to say it briefly.

But I think that the "competition" in Richie's words is something about nice and healthy competition we are never rid of in our hole lifes.

You should feel nice when another member like Maximilian tries to reach the level that you achieved before. And, of course, the student aways go far then the teacher.
