bladerunner Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 never heard of this designer before but they have all sold out on net a porter cost £1,095! great boots though! I just love those suede heels!!!!!
flavio Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I loved it too! It just doesn't need to cost as much as it does. Let's wait for some other brands to "copy" the design, make it a bit different (sometimes better then the original) and then we can buy it! Flavio - Brazilian heel lover, now in France.
Bubba136 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 are you sure that the advertisement for the boots didn't inclde a statement like "buy the boots and get an automobile, free"? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
HappyFeat Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Isn't Halston the designer that Billy Joel mentions in the song "Big Shot" and the same designer that created the affordable Halston II line that was sold in the 1970's at Sears? Style is built from the ground up!
bootluvr Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Like them THB's too, but can someone tell me what's the price in $$$ ?? Boots Rock!!!!
Arctic Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Like them THB's too, but can someone tell me what's the price in $$$ ?? You're not even the slightest bit embarrassed to ask? It takes approximately 5 seconds to figure out the exchange rate. What's all the fuss about?
fastfreddy2 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Like them THB's too, but can someone tell me what's the price in $$$ ?? About US$2300 give or take. Though I'd expect them to be less expensive if bought direct from the US anyway. [us Brits pay 'top dollar' for EVERYTHING.]
balletboot2000 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Those boots are gorgeous, but they are somewhat expensive. You'd have to get a lot of wear out of them at that price. I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
mccar7hy Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 it seems to me like you might be able to find a knockoff somewhere for much less, that normally seems to be the case
HHfanatic Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 About US$2300 give or take. Though I'd expect them to be less expensive if bought direct from the US anyway. [us Brits pay 'top dollar' for EVERYTHING.] Have you asked a local shoemaker? Maybe he can make the cheaper...
