at9
But Scunny is down south - in Lincolnshire:silly: But Yorkshire has Penistone. Both places cause occasional problems for "net nanny" type software. I'm in London. Hemanels
I guess I'm only the second one (living there now) to chime in on Indiana (or for you Weather Channel lovers, the Illinois/Ohio border.) Yep, a straight, white man in heels living in Indiana. Our state has an interesting shape for a heel-lover.

jojo
I actually work in Scotland for much of the year and to the jocks the whole of England is 'down south' (which geoghraphically it is). Being a northener, being described as someone from down south takes some getting used to.
at9
I actually work in Scotland for much of the year and to the jocks the whole of England is 'down south' For us southerners the north begins at the Watford Gap (not Watford as is commonly supposed) which is in Northamptonshire. Also known as the Tripe Curtain. North of there folks live down coalmines, race whippets, keep ferrets down their trousers and eat black pudding and, of course, love tripe. This extends quite a long way until you get to the Haggis Belt which, in theory, starts at the Scottish border though can extend south into tripe country. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watford_Gap What happens as you go west is best left to Offa, who built a dyke to keep out the wild Welsh and their sheep. jojo
North of there folks live down coalmines, race whippets, keep ferrets down their trousers and eat black pudding and, of course, love tripe. For the record, I neither live down a coalmine, race whippets, keep a ferret down my trousers, or love tripe. I do, however, eat black pudding and wear high heels:smile: so we do have a little in common:w00t2:
