dr1819
I've noticed over the last 24 hours a very disturbing trend, namely, the automatic lockout of those who attempt to right-click and open a secondary connection. For the past 2 years, I've never had a problem, once logged in, of right-clicking on a topic, following it, and addressing the problem. For the last 3 days, however, every time I've right-clicked and followed the link, it's resulted in a locked web page, web site, and browser. This is absolutely unacceptable. The overwhelming majority of phpBB websites out there support this feature as a matter of routine. Only a very select number of ill-informed administrators select the function which prohibits multi-paging, because most administrators are well-aware that most members right-click and select two or three threads as soon as they log in! Please take whatever steps are necessary to educate/correct this particular Internet blaspheme so that those of us who're genuinely interested in a healthy, appropriate response will benefit appropriately. Thank you for your concern. Sincerely, DR1819
Jeff
I don't know what you mean.. I can open up as many browser windows to the site/forum and browse a lot of different topics at the same time. We didn't do anything to make that impossible. Firefox
I've just tried the process of opening a new windows on the board, and all seems to work OK in Firefox and IE. I'm pretty sure no settings have been altered. Try doing it in another browser type (eg Mozilla, Opera assuming you use IE). This may help track down the problem. We'll help if we can! Shafted
I tried it and it works fine. Beware of pop-up blockers on your machine as they can disable the secondary window feature, dr1819. jmc
I use Mozilla Firefox and I open multiple tabs all the time. I open each thread I want to read in a separate tab -- I'm on dialup so I can be downloading threads B, C, D, etc. while I'm reading thread "A". Works like a champ and I've never had any problems. As long as the site comes up I can open 20 or more tabs! Have a happy time!

Shafted
dr1819, I think the issue you are experiencing is either your machine or ISP. As you can see, no else seems to be having the problem.
