sscotty727 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I think I told you all before my wife isn't a big-time heel wearer. I have tried to get her to wear heels or boots from time to time, but she instead perfers platform flip-flops or "stompers" (platform shoes). Anyway, I found these boots on Ebay and she actually said she likes them! I was wondering what you all thought of them? I plan on trying to bid on them, but the end time is too far away and don't wanna risk losing them. Scotty
Heelfan Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Sexy! Go for it, and good luck! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
hoverfly Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I like them. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022!
raccoon Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Yes! I like easy to wrinkle leather. Good luck with the auction. Are you considering to buy them early?
bootluvr Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Howdy All!!! GREAT LOOKIN" BOOTS SScotty727. 8-D Now if only you can find a pair for yourself, as to me they still have a Manly sorta Western Look to um. Anybody else think so too?? Take Care and Enjoy Her in them. Boots Rock!!!!
Bubba136 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Yes, nice boots. Can be worn with a short skirt or jeans. Go for them. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
gary0618 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Very Sharp Good Looking Boots! Don't let them get away! If they were My Size, you would not have a chance! Gary0618 FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
chris100575 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 I like those a lot. I'm after a pair of leather knee boots myself, and am going to break with tradition and buy a pair that do not have stiletto heels! I like that those can be worn OTK too. Chris
nhoj62 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 scotty those look great go for them, u never know she might even wear them!. later nhoj62 the higher the boot, the higher the heel, the better the feeling!
silver Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Drool, buy them, my girlfriend also doesn't like high heels sscotty727, so I know that you must go for the opportunity when it arises. I want to buy these for my girlfriend: http://www.sexyshoes.com/p9720.html
Rob Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Hi Silver, They look nice - high enough to be sexy, but hopefully low enough to not be too uncomfortable. (Real leather should help too.) However, if she only ever wears flats, it may be better for her to start at around 2" to gain confidance, before progressing to higher. (It's better to progess slowly and have her enjoy the shoes, rather than rush her in to higher than she is ready for.) Good luck.
sscotty727 Posted October 4, 2004 Author Posted October 4, 2004 Dang, I didn't win them. Oh well. If anyone knows where I can buy a pair of boots like these, please let me know. Scotty
sscotty727 Posted October 9, 2004 Author Posted October 9, 2004 Well, we found another pair of boots similar to these, but they are black suede instead of leather. My wife really likes them and they look great on her. I was hoping she would wear them to the mall today, but she said she needs to wait for a special occasion when she can get more dressed up. Oh well, I will keep you all posted, but alteast these are MUCH nicer than the shoes she normally wears. If I can talk her into it, I will post a picture of her wearing them. Scotty PS: I am wearing my tan boots today with jeans though. I really love the look!
genebujold Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Sweet! Exactly the kind of boot I like to wear.
Dawn HH Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Sscotty727:-) I like that pair of boots myself. I wouldn't mind having a pair, but not in suede. That would be a great heel for street-heeling. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
chris100575 Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 I love suede, as long as it's real leather. I've got three pairs of suede boots, and a pair of 4.5" court shoes. I think it makes a nice change from leather. Unfortunately, you have to be careful, I've seen boots being sold on eBay as suede when they were actually synthetic. Chris
