lincsdave Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Hi everyone. New on here and new to the single life too. I'm now in a position to explore something that I have wanted to for some time, and now I'm single again I'm looking forward to some heeled fun. I hadn't realised how hard it was to get heels in my size, size 11, but no doubt you guys will advise me on my way. Dave 1
maninboots Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Hi Dave and welcome, I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun with your new found freedom, sorry can’t help you with the size 11, I’m only a women’s 5 so don’t have that problem, you’ll soon make many friends on here that I’m sure will be able to help, I’m in the midlands so not a million miles from you, do you like to get out and about in your heels, if you look in the guys section at Costa in boots you’ll see quite a bit of what I’m about, looking forward to more chats with you in due course. Regards Gaz
at9 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Dave, welcome to HHP. If you look through past threads there's a fair bit about getting larger sizes. I'm UK9 so on the cusp of what's available in the mainstream of heels. At UK11 you have 3 main choices: 1: Fetish and CD/TV suppliers such as Alternative Footwear. Great if you want extreme stuff, less so if want everyday footwear. Take a look anyway as some of their stuff is pretty moderate. 2: Specialist big size suppliers. Magnus and Long Tall Sally are 2 well known ones. Possibly Evans if they are still around 3: Custom. Expensive. One fellow member highly recommends Jean Gaborit
jeremy1986 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Welcome Dave @lincsdave - great to have you, especially another UK dweller! wow, UK11 - that's quite big! What are the styles you like? Enjoy your time here... lots of similar minded folks Cheers!
dagino Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Hi LINCSDAVE, my size is UK 11-12. Our size is a bit more expensive, but at least I do not have a house full of shoes.
lincsdave Posted January 16, 2019 Author Posted January 16, 2019 Thanks for that guys. I've had a bit if a look and expensive seems the only option. It will be worth it though. Getting my house in a few weeks so I can feel a moving in present on the cards

stevieuk7610 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Hi there Dave.. Welcome to the site... Have you tried smaller size women's shoes at all.. I say this because if I get men's shoes I'm at least a size 11 but because of the shape of my feet - basically they kind of taper back from the big toe...I'm sure you really wanted to know that !!! - I can comfortably get into size 9 heels.. The more pointed nature of women's shoes seems to help a lot...that coupled with a wide fit option and you could be surprised at what sizes you can get away with.. Failing that Ebay is always a good place to get larger sizes..either pre-owned or new from China who always seem to offer large sizes quite cheaply.. I know you take a chance on quality but the ones I've got over the years have been good enough for the price...you do have to remember though that there will be a customs sticker on the outside stating what's in the parcel..!! Hope that helps Steve
pebblesf Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Welcome lincsdave, great to have you with us buddy....Yeah, it is so frustrating to find a pair of boots you like, only to see they are way too small or not offered in larger sizes. Like Stevie says, sizing varies a great deal though, so don't be afraid to try on a slightly smaller pair. Seems like you are starting a new chapter in your life, and it sounds like you plan on making heels a part of your life also, cool! We are here to help and encourage you buddy....Don
lincsdave Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 Thanks for all that guys. No doubt a bit if trial and error will get me through. Just want to get my house bought, CV which is taking forever and then I can start my journey 1
