Is this one of the ways heels are going to be considered more manly by making them appear more harsh and threatening. Heel manufacturers must be taking their designs from the heels of the Genghis Khan warriors. I mean the studs that dot many heels these days have pointed peeks that seem like they would really hurt if accidently the skin is brushed by them. I hope the wearers are a bit bow legged, otherwise, there are going to be a lot of self inflicted injuries by just walking in them. You probably need to sit with some distance between you and the wearer. That is actually the scary part. I'd worry, if my partner wanted to snugly up while wearing them. Both of us could get punctured or lacerated by the studded spikes.

I love those shoes, they look a lot like the Hades range: http://www.hadesuk.com/ The only thing that puts me off is that they're not leather and for the price, I want real cow.

New Rock have a similar range, I have a pair of these: http://www.camden-boots.co.uk/New_Rock_PUNK001_C1_p/punk001-c1.htm they're really fun to wear!

Wow - - they have retail shops? I could have some serious fun shopping at a shoe place like Hades.
