AZShoeNut Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Howdy, So in a long and overly personal post I discussed some of the challenges that I have experienced with my wife’s take on me starting to wear my heels out and about. Several weeks ago we agreed to table the subject and that I would not stop wearing my heels however I would do my best to be as covert as possible about it so as not to enflame her worries. It was not an ideal solution but it also was not a situation where I was forbidden to wear them. When I do wear my heels out I mostly wear them to one specific coffee house. Christmas day I opened a stocking stuffer gift. Inside a cool little box that she picked up was a note from Santa (Ya we can be cute like that) that said, “I heard that you really like to go to that specific coffee house. Here is some coffee money.” The money for coffee was the smallest fraction of the gift. The second best gift this year was my wife, in so many words, saying, “Here Honey, please enjoy getting some coffee in your heels on me.” That was really cool! I just wanted to share this experience. Best, Larry Oh, ya, the first, biggest and best gift this year was enjoying Christmas with my six month old son – obviously his first Christmas. :-) Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!
Shafted Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 That is so cool Larry. Remember to share your experiences in heels with her if you can. This might just bring her peace of mind. That's all she really wants (within reason). Shafted, the boots that is! Steve63130 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Yeah, what Shafted said! I agree. It sounds like she's concerned for your safety and/or your reputation, and you need to convince her over time that you can handle it, that most people won't care or even notice, and that if they do, most likely you'll get compliments. Hmmm...come to think of it, maybe she's worried that you'll get found by a gal who loves heels on guys! Better get advice from Kneehighs on that. LOL Sounds like you had a great holiday. Thanks for sharing your post with us. Steve

AZShoeNut Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Howdy, Thanks for reading. It was very cool and I wanted to share. It sounds like your wife is losing her security blanket and actually letting you do your thing! Congrats! You know ILK, I think you might be right. This is the very first spontaneous thing that my wife has done that has supported my wearing of heels. I have found that keeping the subject on the down low has worked. If I suggest that we go out together or relate my positive experiences she stresses out. So I have been grabbing my heels and putting on pants after she leaves for work just to keep a low profile. A couple nights before Christmas when we were really busy taking care of odds and ends she offered that if I wanted to put on a pair of heels that she wouldn't mind. Then on Christmas day she gave me that gift. So, I think I will just keep things on the down low and see what else develops. Best, Larry Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!

HappyinHeels Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 AZShoeNut, Heartwarming story for Christmas that is for sure. The most important things are the 2012 son in front of your eyes and the love that flows from that woman beside you. This gesture confirms that so enjoy your freedom with her blessing in mind. Wishing your little trio all the best in 2013! HappyinHeels
