Now for something completely different, high heeled UGGs,

Now that, sir, is an abomination! The toe is hideous and the heel is unattractive. With all that being said, they're probably rather comfortable! Lol

Where I live in Idaho, the winters are long and the snows deep. I think Uggs look good on women if they are the type that is not too bulky and worn on the outside of their jeans. I have two pair myself and started wearing them too.

I was going to jokingly write that Ugg boots might be Ok if the made them in a thigh length but I thought I ought to look first.

To my surprise (and I don't Dr.Shoe would object to these):

A bit expensive but available in a 12. . It's worth clicking on their "Care" link for some ideas on care of suede boots.

I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Perhaps I need serious help, but I was glad to see the Classic Tall is now available in men's sizes. (I was surprised that the anti-virus on the server let me upload the pictures)

No, they're not high heeled Uggs, they're sheepskin boots with high heels.

Uggs are not high heeled by definition.

Interesting that both styles were available up to a UK 10.5!

While I don't care for their boots, I have to admit that I own a pair of Ugg wooden clogs and wedge slides--they don't really look that bad either. Sorry Dr. Shoe. Guess I better be on the lookout for the Ugg police!

If the shoe fits-buy it!!!!!!

I love them. The best pair of slippers I've ever owned.

As someone who has the pair of tall ultra-uggs he bought 10 years ago, and are still using them in just that capacity tonight, I have to agree with that statement.

As for looks, the design really could be summed up as the cheap mockery of a cut rate mukluk. But being designed to be worn without socks, toasty warm in the winter, surprisingly non sweaty in the summer, cosy enough to be the first on coming out of bed, and sturdy enough to make the trip to the mailbox, their utilitarian benefits kind of start to add up.

As an outdoor boot, they are about as water repellent as your average sponge. The one good bit of news is that they will keep your feet toasty warm all day in the cold, and it takes quite a bit of wet to wreck that. The insulation is good enough that after about 5 minutes or so in 20F (-6C) weather, the outside will become cold enough that snow stops melting and getting absorbed. Of course, if you're looking to go out into the snow, that time lag can be an eternity.

well now folks, let's face it-UGGs are only good for "outdoor-indoor" slipper footwear use, thats all!!

Nope. The only way a pair of uggs will keep me warm this winter is when I toss them on the fire as fuel.
