HeelsGood Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Hello, I've just bougth new shoes. Here is a couple of photos of them... OK, let's add some feature... I've found them in a shoes shop near my home. These are "women" shoes, but in this shop there is no problem for a man (me, for example) to buy women shoes. So, I've tried them and because they were low cost and because they are very comfortable, I decided to pay for them : 10 € ! Yes... it's very few ! Now, you can vote : do you love them ? Thanks.

Well, I can't say that I "love" them, but they are very nice and I would certainly wear them. They are a nice look for a pair of jeans. A nice casual style.

Sorry, but in french "aimer" (what I translated in love) is used both for "love" and "like"...
hhboots Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Those are nice, not as flashy, high heeled, and feminine as many around here probably like, but I would certainly wear them for sure. You got my vote for "aimer" as you clarified.

HeelsGood, I love them! I have been looking for a pair like that for a long time. The wide strap and rounded toe make them less feminine, which is what I like about them. They would suit my stocky build better than stilettos. What brand and model are they? Congratulations on a very nice purchase. Steve
HeelsGood Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 Thank you Steve. I've found a link to this pair : my new shoes For info : - brand : Lauréana (for "La Halle Aux Chaussures") - model : I can't find it... I think you'd better search near you, because it's a local brand only for one seller ("La Halle Aux Chaussures") which is a french one... Good luck !
Steve63130 Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Merci, but unfortunately it doesn't come in my size (43). Well, it's a beautiful shoe, in my opinion, and I wish you happiness in wearing it! Steve
roniheels Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 They are a very nice pair of shoes. But as long as you love them, that's all that matters.
HeelsGood Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 (...) as long as you love them, that's all that matters. Thanks. You are right. That's what is important : I love them.
eoneleg Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 I don't care for them. I prefer a higher and thinner heel and a less rounded toe. But the important factor is that you like them and like to wear them. Really, that is all that matters. Thanks for sharing.
Marion Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Well, I can't say that I "love" them, but they are very nice and I would certainly wear them. They are a nice look for a pair of jeans. A nice casual style. Exactly what I thought ! My shoe collection album
partyshoes Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 I'm with Ron C and Marion Gingers Rogers did everything Fred Astair did .. but backwards and in heels

I have a pair much like those. I love my mj's and those look like they could be worn very casually all day long and comfy too. real men wear heels
Juliann Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I like them a lot !! The ones in my avatar are Steve Madden
barney15c Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 i like them too, i have a lot of similar pairs i bought from Barratts, would to get a dark brown pair like these. I like a bit of comfort too as well as sky high spike heels In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!!
helexus Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 It is all good if you like them! I do not as the heel is too short for me. I like the style, heel and all, just not the height. I must stress, if you like them, than they are perfect!!! Enjoy.
4 ever heels Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Got a new pair of shoes yesterday and am wearing them now, they are a pair of strappy wedges and have a 11.5cm heel and I also have posted pics of them and some of my other heels here as well
Maninheels Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I like them as well, I am a huge Mary Jane fan though. The only part I am unsure of is the heel, it almost looks a bit like a cone style heel. I am not a fan of that style at all.
jetheelsfan Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Nice casual looking shoe. There is something about a mary-jane. My first pair had 3 mary-jane straps on a small curved heel in 1970. That was when I was a size 10B at 18. Now a 12 is too tight and my feet are shot - not due to hh use. Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.
