swenick
...ordered a LOT of shoes of course! I ordered them from fuss shoe store in Germany, a friend of mine ordered her last pair of pumps from them and she liked them so I'll try them as well. First I need something to wear around the apartment, so the first pair is a pair of red mules with 17(!!!!!)cm heels. 105€ http://postimage.org/image/1l8cochvo/ Then I need something to wear outside, so the next pair is a pair of black ankle boots with red sole, 17cm stiletto heels and an inside zipper, 200€ http://postimage.org/image/1la56b150/ Every wardrobe needs a pair of sandals, so the next item is a pair of black sandals with 17cm red stiletto heels and red wristband, 130€ http://postimage.org/image/1gwnwr284/ Of course I also need the most classic pumps, black pumps with 17.5cm red stiletto heels, 130€ http://postimage.org/image/1laf3j43o/ Since I dont have a pair of peep toe pumps any more, I have to fix that now. Red peep toe, red sole and 17cm black stiletto heels, 125€ http://postimage.org/image/1lagr2glg/ A tribute to the 80:s, pink pumps with 18(!!!)cm stiletto heels, 90€ http://postimage.org/image/1laielt38/ I have always wanted gold heels... Sandals with 14cm heels, 95€ http://postimage.org/image/1lalpoi2s/ plus 23€ in shipping set me back 898€ (out of the 1043€ I won), a very nice dinner with a special friend took care of that (and a little more). She wore a pair of stunning black pumps with 17cm thin stiletto heels and a short skirt with matching black nylons with back seam. That was 2.61€ *very* well spent! As you can see I am determined to learn how to walk pretty in 7 inch heels Now all I have to do is wait and wait and...

jwhite44
Not being a fan of platforms, nice to see someone whose 6"-7" heels give you that much lift, and aren't offset by a 1"-2" platform. One good thing - once you master walking in one, you should be able to walk in all of them equally as well.
swenick
Not a big fan of platform either. If I wear 7 inch heels, I should wear 7inch, not 5 inches... I think that I will cheat and start with the boots
jwhite44
Good idea starting with the boots. Would be a shame for all those shoes to become display pieces instead of walking wear because you twist an ankle wearing the first pair. Not sure you mentioned - have you worn heels this high before, or will these be the first time in ones like this?

Are you planning on wearing your new shoes outside of the house, in public? And, you told us what kind of shoes your "special friend" wore but didn't mention if you also wore heels to dinner. Did you? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
ilovetights
Not a big fan of the first pair but the rest of your purchases are superb. I love the 'classics' and the ankle boots, so simple yet so beautiful Can't wait 'til I get a pair of 7 inchers that fit for myself! Platforms are good but I think without is best... nothing beats really HIGH stiletto heels I hope you are practically running in them real soon.. good luck :-) Call me Tights! spikesmike
Swenick. Love your taste in shoes. Didn't care much for the gold. What size shoe do you wear? I have several pair of 7" high heels, w/ no platform. At size 13 US it's heard for me to walk in them. I wear 6" heels in public all day, but that extra 1" to a 7" heel makes it tough to walk. Enjoy your new shoes. Mike

swenick
jwhite44: Nope, I have never worn 7" heels before. 6.3" is not a problem, have walked (outside, both in public and on rocky ground) for many, many hours. I also have a pair of 6.6" heels, but I have not worn those as much. Partly since they dont fit as well... My little toes hurt like h*ll after a while, they are a little small. But the heel height is not a problem. I can walk up and down stairs in both of them. Actually its only one pair thats really 7 inches, the pink pumps. The other are just short of 7 inches. The black pumps with red heels are 6.9 inches. Bubba136: nope, not this time. This was her day as a thank you for... a lot of things. So I went in a plain suit with "normal" mens shoes. We have been to dinner when we both wore high heels tho, 5" for me and 6" for her. ilovetights: I wanted a pair of mules with very high heels and I liked them. I dont think I will wear them outside of my home tho. But the others will! Platforms is not my cup of tea, a few shoes looks good on a few people. But most just look.... Wrong. spikesmike: Everyone must have at least one pair of golden shoes Thats what she told me and I have to agree... Dont think that I will use them much, I like shoes with atleast 5" heels. Preferably 6" or higher. I really hope that I can walk in them! I dont want them to stand on a shelf, that would be a huge waste! If I have problems with them, I will practice until I master them! mtnsofheels
Greetings swenick, Congratulations on your triple win, 1 for the money, 2 for shoes and 3 for your very fortunate partner who is so understanding of shoes and your interest and wearing them. That with your collection of new and perhaps older ones would pretty much sum up what others including me would call the perfect dream come true! You are a fortunate man! I do like you collection of newly ordered shoes, The pink is a bit radioactive for me but still very stylish. Great job on the choice, have fun with those! Thanks for sharing your dream come true! Roberto74
HI, Love those shoes Swenick! Absolutely stunning! I have bought 3 pairs at www.Fuss-schuhe.de myself a while ago (2 for my girlfriend size eu39, I love the italian very thin stilettos, these are 12.5cm (5") and the other pair is about 11.5cm with 2cm platform( 4.5" with 0.75" platform) she would be better able to walk on, since she doesn't walk on any heels mostly...) The last black ones I bought for myself size 42... They are the same as the lovely boots you ordered They are a smashing 16cm (6.4") in that size and damn hard to walk on and the ball of the foot hurts quick, so I'm thinking of buying some gelpads! I'm already better in keeping the knees straight but noticing that in that heights the heel/foot is moving a bit inward, so I must try hard to put the foot/shoe the right way onto the floor....) So I only can say much respect if you can wear those, especially if you would be able to wear them in public places/streets/bad pavements etc!! That would really be a challenge in them! I'm not that experienced in walking in very high heels, so apart from a 11cm boot (4,4") in a too small size I never tried other heels before. So these are rather extreme to learn, but after a few times I do find myself more stable in them. As for most highheelshops I already mentioned in another thread that it's difficult to find a heel of about 14cm (5.7") (or effectively the same with a platform), and also at Fuss it's either 11-12.5cm (4.4"-5") or the extreme 16-17cm (6.4"-6.7") in about size 41/42... So there is that gap and not filled with the heels that would be perfect in height/arch I think...
swenick
Back again, been way to busy walking in my new shoes The first heels I tried was the boots and that was love at the first step! They fit PERFECTLY! And I could walk in them from the start After about an hour walking around the apartment I tried the sandals, they fit as well. Not as perfect as the boots, but they were so good that I would have bought them in a store. Now I was feeling like a kid at christmas eve so after another half hour it was time for something else! It was time to go golden Unfortunatly they did not fit as well, so after about 2-3 minuter I took them off. Tried them again a couple of days later but no... They are somewhere in a second hand shop now I think, put them in a big bin with some other clothes for charity. I tried the mules instead (with all thumbs, fingers and toes crossed!!) - and they fit! A lot harder to walk in then the boots or sandals, but quite walkable (as long as I didn't try to walk to fast...) Actually I'm wearing them now That was all for the first day, I placed the pink pumps next to my bed and went to sleep. The next morging I woke up and slipped on the pinks and walked around in my apartment. These were just for fun and I seriously doubt that I will ever wear them outside my apartment. But they are fun After a loooooooong day at work I came home to find a lovely pair of red peep toe pumps waiting for me right inside my door. I slipped them on and just smiled as I walked around my apartment and a 15 minute walk outside (that was COLD!). I saved my favourite for last, the black pumpd with red heels. I gave them a whole day (saturday) at home. They fit just as perfect as the boots. Since then I have walked a looooong time in them, both at home and other places. Not outside, they are to nice for that The boots are worn outside now, when I get inside I have plenty of other shoes to wear!

Awtucs
You're an inspiration, in deed! Bubba136
I love all of the shoes that you purchased. But, I am wondering why you gave the gold sandals to a second hand shop when you could have sold them here on hhplace? In fact, if you mentioned the address of the particular place you put them, and mentioned the size, I bet there would be a stampede to the store of hhplace members that wanted to buy them. hhboots
All of those are killer (gorgeous) heels, and you sure do like them tall. I would love to go on a buying spree like that.
Roberto74
Stunning that you can walk in all those very high heels! they are about 16cm all of them, apart from the golden sandals (don't like those as much as the rest, bit old fashion style and the lowest of the heels you bought) So much respect if you can wear them, also outside the house/going to town on such high heels? The mules your feet probably slip more easily out of them isn't it? the boot(which I like most) gives the most support and steadyness, not too much of luxury comined with such an extremely high and thin heel:smile:
