ShockQueen Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Wow....now this just puts bizarre to shame - not to mention the price! Mojito Shoe I can imagine some models going for it, but just not my bag by a mile and a half. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
M-a Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 What was he/she thinking?! I can't even try to figure out how the hell that thing could actually fit on a foot. “Sometimes you have to sacrifice your performance for high heels” www.heelsoholic.com
chris100575 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 I'm not going to judge it properly until I've seen it with a foot in it, but while my first reaction was that it's just weird I actually think it could look good. It'd have to be on a woman with pretty feet though!
Waisted_Giraffe Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Now that is a fantastic piece of "design". Lets face it up to this point "nearly" all shoes are essentially follow the same principles just with one or two variations that have been taken to extremes; heels, laces, turning into a crotch high boot etc. This completely throws existing concepts on their head - brilliant! chris100575, you're sort of right but just imagine these as an alternative pair of sandals, we may just see this concept adapted to a more high street design in the not to distant future. tal Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I agree BigD, its a wonderfull design! Not that i would wear it or like it on a woman. My username changes every now and then on here. God knows why.
joeshoething Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I like that shoe. It kind of reminds me of a pair I saw online. I'll try to find it and post a pic.
canadianbeaver17 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I wanna try on a pair! I couldn't find a pic though of someone modeling in. Would like to see it on someone's foot to see if it could actually work.
Steve63130 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I've tried on hh shoes without much arch support or with the arch in the wrong place for my foot, but that one looks like it has zero arch support! Looks cool but it's probably unwearable. Steve
aussieheels1 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 from a design point of view, i think they are awesome.... not so sure how they would look on.... joeshoething - those ones you posted up looks great too..... me want!!
tetonheeler Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I'd like to see a model wearing them. Any links?
roniheels Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Scientificly, it may be a great idea. But I don't find it appealing at all. But like many other unique ideas, this might sell and make someone a million dollars.
Waisted_Giraffe Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 All Further to the original and following comments, I have found this page for your review and no doubt comment. http://marloestenbhomer.squarespace.com/couture-shoes/ Some interesting ideas. R christ almighty! have just looked at the "online boutique" £2250!
Danielinheels Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 My biggest gripe is that they probably won't come in my size... Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde
Waisted_Giraffe Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 At those prices, they'll probably make them bespoke My biggest gripe is that they probably won't come in my size...
lotsofheels Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 This shoe would be perfect to wear at the beach. It not only looks practical for walking in sand but also would not look out of place being worn with a bikini.
