Have you ever seen motorbike boots?

This is NOT a heel, its the extra layers of protection around the ankle which are attached to the outside.

Well, after being riding motorcycles for 20 years, I think I have seen a few...

Look at the sole of the bootand look at the shape of the foot..

I would have to agree with Tech on this one. It is just a standard motorcycle boot. However the angle with which the photo is taken can give the impression of a wedge heel. I'd have to say it really is just a standard boot. But one can always hope.

One of the more recent Harley adds has a woman in high heeled over the knee boots.

TBG: Remember this one? Got a pic in front of home depot while out on the bike in thigh boots since you're always out and about in thigh boots.

Dainese does make a pair of womens boots with about a 1.5" heel, much higher then mens, although still easy to ride with and comfie when walking around. They are my usual riding boots now :winkiss:

btw: hhfanatic's 2nd photo reveals the cause of the wedge-heel appearance. the shadowing on the top of the boot (vamp-arch area) and the horizontal patterning cause a mild optical illusion of more boot.

And here I thought it was the bike that was giving her a wedgie...

JimC –

Yes, I do remember that photo. I thought it looked great at the time and I still do. I’ve been wearing a pair while I’ve been out riding also, only I’m riding a bicycle.

“My goodness! That's some really bad photoshop work.”

Your right and thanks for pointing it out. That was one of the first images I ever made and I think it was done with Photoshop 3.2.

“and a THONG bodysuit! I think I'm in love!”

In all there years I hadn’t noticed that, but that image was made back when it was a popular fashion style.

I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
