Söfft cork sandals (model name unknown) with a nearly 3" heel, slight platform and cool metal detail on the wedge. Frankly, they feel like flats, though I haven't worn them outside yet, so that may be a premature assessment.

Those look like they'd be quite comfortable.  A pair I'd enjoy wearing I'm sure.

Well, we'll be married 49 years in July so I guess I'm doing something right....lol

Maybe three times a year she will wear some stockings and sit with a pair of heels on for a 1/2 hour or so.  Guess it's better than nothing!

Unfortunately @Isolathor I do not really have any pictures of videos.  I do wish I had taken photos of her in heels.  If we had digital cameras back then I likely would have done so.  That said, she is also camera shy so she wouldn't have been anxious to have photos taken.

Well then add one from me as well.  She is lovely and wears wonderful heels and hose.  How I would love it if my wife could and would wear similar things!

That is the problem, however, is that they give you "views" instead of facts and allowing you to come up with your own view instead of being told what it is.

I agree - fortunate gentlemen both.  I very much miss the days when my wife could wear heels.

I'm with you on the height.  I think 4" is a better look than 5".  

@chesterxwhile not a huge fan of platforms, I do loke your new heels.  I've always liked the see through nature of mesh uppers.  

I tend to agree with you.  I was just sitting here trying to remember the last time I saw a teenage girl in a pair of dress heels.  Been so long I can't remember.  Used to be that they couldn't wait until they were old enough to be allowed to wear heels.  Sad.

Definitely something to be said for a pair of comfortable heels, especially if doing any amount of walking in them.  Nice looking pump.

I think many of us are getting quite tired of being told how we should think and act.  And the news media is at the top of my list.  How about maybe reporting facts instead of pushing an agenda.

Sounds like you have the same problem I do with many heels.  The toe box is snug yet I walk out of the heel of the shoe.  I find it very difficult to find shoes that will stay on my foot.  I guess I should clarify that - typical pump style shoes.  Boot styles and other shoes that tie or strap on will of course stay on my foot.  Unfortunately, I like low cut pumps of course....lol.
