Anna Louise, it sounds like you've got a great wardrobe in your closet at home. I wish I had as many leather skirts as you do. Regarding your longer leather skirts, when you wear them, do you tend to wear lower heels with them since the skirt to an extent hides your heels? Also, what sort of shoe do you wear with the longer skirts, boots, pumps, sandals or does it make any difference to you?

I and those who buy for me always buy for hieght and style, though I am not big on platforms, i must admit that some of the Louboutin and Gucci and YSL platforms are different, but the typical stripper heels not thanks

I usually try to wait until certain brands I like go on sale, then I splurge. This month, I have not seen any good sales yet, so amazingly, for the month of June, I have spent 0€ on heels. It is incredible to see so many here can wear such high heels upon finishing highschool. When I finished highschool four years ago, all the girls wanted to wear heels to the dance but most wore two inch heels and some even found that very challenging. I can just picture you in the cute bunny rabbit slippers, you are soooo cute! I have a pair of fluffy slippers at home based on a Japanese anime character which I sometimes wear. Othertimes, I just wear a pair of comfy Uggs or my Emu which are just as comfortable. I like the fact that heels make me taller and they give me a certain poise when I walk or dance. Since I wear heels so much, some people have already assumed this is my natural height since they don't get to see me without heels.

I am surprised to see that they make such high heels without a platform. While I love how great those boots look, if I were to wear something similar, I would not stand up at all. I would just sit and look pretty hahahaha

Alexa, does your bf have hard wood floors, tiles, ceramic or carpeted floors? When you walk around your bf's place in your heels, does it make any noise? I find that the longer I keep my fur lined high heel boots on, the less I want to take them off as I have already adjusted to their warmth, the comfort of the plush fur lining and feeling very well protected. During the brief moments at home after work when I change footwear, I feel so vulnerable and exposed with my boots off ....... anyone else have that feeling too?

Alexa, what material are your good shoes and boots which you would not want to wear outdoors in case of rain or snow? Is it suede, leather, lambskin or satin footwear? Regarding wearing three pairs of socks at once, I have not done that before. I wear pantyhose and socks as cushioning for high heels. The higher the heel, the more cushioning I need. I also find high heel boots that have a thick fur lining as the plush fur provides yet another layer of padding. I would only wear more socks if the heel was even higher but the higher heeled boots don't have the fur lining so 3 inches heels plus one layer of pantyhose and one pair of woolly socks is probably max for me. Unless of course one day I find a pair of boots with a really high heel that also have the fur lining Alexa, you don't use gel pads or socks at all when you go for those super high heels?

Leigh, they look gorgeous! The smooth black shaft contrast very well with the bright red soles. How high are those thin heels? Do most people also find that high heel boots offer better support then high heel pumps and pumps offer better support then sandals?

I find that the shorter you are, the more you want to wear heels to look taller but the harder it is to find heels. From what I read, the United States tend to have the largest shoe sizes. I wonder what country or region has the smallest shoe sizes for adult females.

They certainly dominate where you can go. Don't get me wrong, but after a long day at work sometimes I just don't want to walk round the clubs in skyscraper heels. Fluffy slippers and a foot massage!

I know what you mean! There are some people who are really great at wearing high heels and can wear them all day, everyday. Then comes people like you and I who needs our fluffy slippers, Uggs time to recharge at home so the next day when we are out, we can look fresh in our heels again.

Speaking of fluffy slippers, there are soooooooo many cute designs out there now including all sorts of cartoon characters and animals!!!

Heidi is so cute that way!!! If I were there with her, she would be like my little sister all bundled up. I like her style though, as long as she is comfortable wearing what she wears because despite being "wrapped" up, she has a nice fashion sense.

Actually his favourites are my 4in black peepholes, they're classy, but a little naughty too. They really get him in the mood, so once we hit the bedroom they don't come off all night.

Ive bought several pair of springolator shoes on ebay and really love them.I always wondered why they didnt make them any more. Yesterday I found some that look just like the original ones with the elastic in the sole .I ordered a pair from Bernardo shoes.I cant wait to get them

I typically wear heels but when I go for fitness aerobics class, I have a pair of really springy Adidas Power Bounce sneakers which almost look like I have a pair of springs attached to my feet. The feel is great too.

If the heels get too high, I sometimes find that the heels end up dominating me LOL
