  1. What kind of boots do you usually wear?

Knee highs? Ankle boots? Sandal boots?

I wear booths around the year, since our summers aint that warm compared to many other countries. I probably would wear my favorite boots during the summer even if I lived in a country with a warmer climate.

  2. Interesting phenomenon you are experiencing. The closest I came to having something like that happen was at work when a technician was spending time under my desk doing wiring for the electrical systems. He apologized everytime he nudged my boots. As for getting a massage, instead of having one of those worshipers do the job, go to someone who is trained. Go to a reflexologist who is trained and certified. That way, you know you are having a specialist work on your muscles. Same for my back, if I want someone to massage my back, I would go to a certified message therapist instead of a back worshiper.

  3. Hello Christine, This co-worker who just met you - not a husband, boyfriend or a close friend - asked if he could worship you as if you were a deity?!? Hmm ... Regarding wearing nylons with pumps, I am surprised that would even qualify as warm. I am not very good at wearing high heels so I use a lot of padding when I wear heels. At the office today, I have on a pair of knee high leather boots with 3 inch heel. To offset the high heel, I wore two pairs of pantyhose and one pair of tall socks for cushioning. Do you find wearing just nylons and heels in the fall too hot already?

  4. Recently I had a MAJOR project at work that involved working with 3 different companies, one in France, one in Germany and one in Poland. I had to help orchestrate and co-ordinate the project between the different offices so I would often go to one office, work the day, then take the train to an office in another country, catching sleep on the train and/or at the hotel, then rushing into the office in another country. When I am not working, I wear heels at the office but change into Uggs at home for comfort. However, during a crazy 4 day, 3 night spell, I did not go home at all. It was rush from one country to another country via train as the delicate procedures did not allow me to do most things remotely. During this entire time, I changed business suits everyday but I wore the same pair of black, fur lined, knee high boots with 3 inch block heels for almost the entire 4 days and 3 nights! The only time they came off was when I was in the hotel showering. After that, it was get dressed and rush back to work or at least to meet up with people to talk business over dinner or a drink. My legs aren't used to wearing such high heels for an extended period of time like that but the fur lining in my leather dress boots helped offset some of the stress along with my thick nylons. By the third day, my ankles, calf and knee muscles were getting tired, especially with all the walking I had to do. I didn't have any other shoes to change into but I did have socks so I added a pair of socks over my pantyhose to give myself even more padding to survive those 4 days and 3 nights. When I got home yesterday, I was so extremely exhausted I fell asleep after taking off my business suit jacket. I am awake now and my pencil skirt along with blouse is in need of a good ironing. Amazingly, my black knee high, fur lined boots with 3 inch block heels are still on. I think I have gotten used to wearing such high heels now, as long as I have sufficient padding on inside to help.

  5. Well, this only happens to me at the shoe store when I have one pair on and am trying another pair or when I come home. At home, I usually switch my heels for Uggs so I would take off one heel, put on one Ugg and for a brief moment, I will have one heel on, one Ugg on.

  6. I go into the pool in my business suit, nylons and heels!!!!!

The only time I would voluntarily step in a pool of water is if I know that the boots I am wearing are waterproof and they are a little bit dirty. I would step in to get the dirt off. Otherwise, I try really prefer to stay dry.

If I step in a puddle and get wet on the way to work, it would be very uncomfortable to have to go the entire day with my boots, socks and pantyhose all wet.

  7. While it is not the prom, I do have a fancy ball to attend next week. With the temperatures hovering around +15C in the evenings recently, I am thinking of wearing a hot pink party dress that has black trim, an open back, a full length skirt that is slit up the side to my waist and a black sash around my waist. Around my neck will be a thin silver necklace along with hoop earrings. On my legs, I was thinking of wearing a pair of hot pink patterned pantyhose along with my black leather stiletto heeled boots. What does everyone think of my outfit? Comments?

  8. Leigh, how long does it take for your online shops to ship the purchase to you? I have tried several online shops. Some use express post here in Germany and some have had my purchase in my hands in one business day while I have had others take about 30 days to ship a product from Italy to Germany.

  9. Ouch! That must have been rough Jaynee, to have lost your sisters sandals at the prom. I have attended some formal functions and I have seen women kick off their sandals under the table only to lose them. I have also seen people lose their sandals on crowded dance floors when their sandals fall off. That is one of the reasons why I try to avoid wearing sandals for fear of them falling off and losing them ....

  10. I know knee high lace up boots require a lot of work to put on and remove. They would be a lot of fun to wear on a date but most of the lace up boots I have seen either look too fetishy or too outdoorsy to wear. I like the elegant kind that I can wear everyday. That is why I don't have a pair of full lace ups just yet.

  11. Im not really a sandal type of girl. Infact i prefer all my shoes to be simple and non strappy. Aint nothing better than a pair of classic pumps or boots.

I am just like you! In fact, I don't own any sandals at all other then a pair of flip flops for the beach that I bought but have never worn.

I am usually in boots and am in classic closed toe pumps only when the weather gets too hot.

I think we are in the minority though Leigh as I know most girls wear sandals more then any other shoe

  12. I'm still starting my collection so it is small and i still don't have any designer shoes (but i hope to get some soon) in total i have 33 pairs of shoes and 8 pairs of boots. most of my shoes are 5inches and my highest boots are 4. hope to have great collections like most of you:nervous:

I'm surprised that your highest shoes have a higher heel then your highest boots. Do you find that it is easier to walk in high heel boots then shoes? Or am I the only one who finds boots easier?

  13. The big online retailers have a good selection with prices that tend to be as good if not better then most retail stores. Obviously the problem is that you can't try on before you buy but I often find myself considering ordering online if I see a pair I really like these days ........ What is the percentage of shoes you buy online versus retail for everyone else?
