I'm living temporary with my parents. Moved from the other end of the country back home for a new job. The company where i worked went bankrupt Can't find a house for rent that quickly here so didn't have a lot of options. But thats beside the point. I've had a very hard time with myself about liking heels. Let alone telling anyone. And they probably won't kick me out, but i find it rather difficult to tell them.

I've always said I'd cross that bridge when I come to it. You've come to it imroter. Any plans?

I'm not sure of my dad said anything to my mom. I'm thinking of asking her about that and go from there. What makes it even more difficult that i don't want to burden them with more of my stuff. I can be quite depressed from time to time and thats allready hard enough on my mom.

I'm a little freaked out and wondering what to do. I was busy in my bedroom cleaning and moving furniture around. I just got a new tv and had to make some room for it. My dad came up in my room asked some questions. He's quite nosey and out of the blue he looked in the drawer of my nightstand. And there they where, a pair of high heeled boots. He asked why i had a pair of boots and if the belonged to 'whats her name'. I said he should keep his paws of my stuff and shut the drawer. I got a little angry. After i ignored the question further he went back down again after asking some more questions about my tv. I wonder if he told my mom anything about what he saw. And i'm thinking of asking my mother if he said anything and telling her myself. But i'm not sure about it.

I bought a really cute pair of peeptoe pumps, about a 3.5" heel, a floral pattern on the sides and patent leather accents. Comfortable and sexy, perfect for dark gray or black pants. I'll post a pic later.

Yea, I wore these twice last week, (and not for Halloween), but for my parttime job.

Great purchaces! I have four pairs by blink. The white basic pumps i posted a few pages back and three pairs of platforms. (Black, black-peeptoe and nude). Blink pumps are very comfy imho.

If i loved them i would get them. Replica or not wouldn't matter to me. Lovely is lovely. I don't wear heels outside the house so don't really care about overall style. Only occasional wear heels at a friends house and i think that most heels go with jeans good enough. And as SleekHeels says, i have had some regrets not buying heels when i had the chance. When i went back later and they where out of stock i'm bummed out. If they fit properly, go for it i'd say!

Thanks! Allthough my order has been changed. The shop called that the black peeptoes where of of stock. They had a box which should contain the peeptoes but there where regular ones in it. Ordering would take a while so I decided to go for the nude as peeptoe and the black as regular pumps.

I think Christine_C9 has good points. However this also varies and it's hard to give a single answer to the question. This makes all options of the poll true and false and in essence this is the case, no second person is the same. In this reply i'll try to explain as good as possible how I feel about it and my vision on the 'matter'.

It might also depend on how broad of an area you focus. If I look at it on the most basic level, just the shoes, in my case it's very much the same as what I read on a lot of forums, tumblr and how I see girls react to shoes. (Then again, if they are a fan ofcourse). Things like "they are so beautiful" "I love those" "I have to have them" and almost wanting to marry them, thats exactly the same for me. I really adore a pair of gorgeous heels and they can give me quite strong (extreme? ) feelings about them and get me all excited (in a non sexual way ).

On a higher level, I do think heels can be fun for men aswell. This depends on how you define fun. When i'm in a foul mood they can make my mood better. And I find it fun to wear them, master walking on higher heels and it's fun and exciting to shop for them. There also might be some overlap in the 'sexy' department for me. Allthough while wearing heels I don't feel sexy in general, this is the case for most women I guess. I do find a gorgeous pair of heels that me fit properly can look sexy. But I only find the bit that can be seen on my pics here (= warning, guy in heels ) sexy. When I look at myself wearing a t-shirt, jeans and a pair of heels i find that it looks kinda silly. That heels make me look longer doesn't matter at all to me. I'm fine with my height.

Heels do give me excitement though, but in a completely different way than they do for women. They make me push myself a little further every time. This might be cause of it being against the rules as Christine said. If it was common there is no need to push yourself further every time and that would make it less exciting. Not that I wouldn't love wearng heels if it where common.

For guys it can even be stressful which I doubt is the case for women. Men worry about what others would think of it (women have this aswell I guess but on a different level, "don't these platforms look too stripper?", not to offend anyone but it was the first clear example that popped into my head). How will a girlfriend or wife react if they would know. How will people react if you leave the house on heels or try them on in a store. Thinking people won't understand or even dislike you for it. And so on, this all can give quite some stress.

At the other end of the scale I think it's a LOT more common for men that heels give them sexual arousal (even to the level of a fetish) than it is for women.

I could type for hours on this subject but I suspect no-one wants to read a 5000 word essay on the topic so i'll leave it at this. I hope i managed to capture the essence of my vision and the way i experience things in this post.

They are made by Blink. Overall they are quite true to size but they are a little on the narrow side. I have them in EU41. They will take a while to break in properly. But i'm very happy with them and I think they look good on my feet cause they make them look less wide and have a nice smooth round shape. The other two pair I ordered are also by Blink and if all goes well they will arrive tomorrow. Can't wait!!

Great heels!

I bought these white cuties off a Dutch 'ebay' like website. Paid only 5 euro's for them and they are new! Normally they cost €39,95. Good deal if I say so myself. I picked them up at the seller yesterday. Also ordered the nude and black platforms. Hope they will arrive tuesday.
