Humor? Wow, thanks for the compliment, AZ!
Jeff, you're just jealous you didn't think of that (half) witty remark. HA HA HA
Ok, I'll shut up now. The forum can go back to sleep....

Go for it, Lime15. But be careful. If they don't work out for you, you'll be Manic-depressive.

NH Heels, nice boots! I have a similar pair from Payless called "Mara," which I got in October for 25% off of the regular $60 price (I had a birthday coupon). The next week they were marked down to $45 on sale. Ugh.
TBG - I caught that. Vey clever!

Hah! I've got the same sweater in gray! It's warm and comfortable and looks good! Enjoy wearing it!
The boots look great, as usual. Nice outfit.

Dear Mr. Rose Plant (sorry - couldn't resist!),
Like you, I have a penchant for clog-style heels, too, though not as tall as yours. Most of mine are 3-4 inches, a height I'm very comfortable in walking long distances. Most look very unisex or masculine, not drawing a lot of attention, unless one is knowledgeable about shoes. I have lots of sandals for warmer weather. And some boots, booties, and a few pumps. I don't like tie shoes (women's or men's) so I don't own any of them.
I had a carpenter build some special shelves for me, about 3.5' wide, 7' tall, and 1' deep, with 6" shelf spacing. You might require more spacing for taller heels. The shelves held about 70 pairs of shoes. I dismantled the shelving as we're moving to a retirement community in the near future, and we have closets designed with lots of shelves (80 pairs for me, 60 pairs for my wife), plus floor room for boots and booties.
If anyone wants my surplus shelving, I'd be glad to find a good home for it. All I ask is what I have invested in it, which is about $60, and you pick up. It can probably be dismantled to fit into a large sedan, but a minivan or SUV would be better. Contact me via PM.

I agree. You have a good body shape for wearing those heels. Go out and have a fun time. Don't worry about what others might think. Just enjoy yourself and your time with your friend(s).

Sounds like a fun New Year celebration. Tell us the details! And Happy New Year to you!

If we keep killing those poor fauxes for their fur, at this rate they'll soon be extinct!
That's my rant fur now.
Happy Heeling in the New Year!

Jeff, the brown loafer flats look great. I might just get a pair mysefl. Thanks for the inspiration! And I did see those perforated pumps on the Payless site yesterday. The look cool, literally! Have fun wearing them!

The demons are in our heads until we come out of the closet and find out hardly anybody else cares!
Congrats and enjoy your new level of relationship!

Dr. Shoe, you also have my best wishes for 2015. Happy Heeling in the new year!

Hey, Bluejay!
Glad to see you posting again. I know it takes time to post of your outings, but I think I speak for everyone by saying that we enjoy reading about your adventures. Just as you were inspired by JeffB, many of us are also inspired by you, too! I'm proud to admit I'm a fan of yours! So keep posting!

Amanda,
Sorry to hear of your abrupt change in plans and of your unhappy holiday. I wish you much better in 2015 and hope you're back to happy heeling soon!
Best wishes,

W6, good report. The main thing is that you were out there and had fun. The demons didn't keep you from stepping out in style. Way to go, and have a safe and happy holiday! Enjoy the mall in the city. We were there two summers ago with a friend from this forum and it's quite a place.
See ya!

Sub Topic: Vegas again…..
Last week the wife and I took a quick trip to Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada…. I took several pairs of heels (sandals and pumps) and wore them most all the time.
I was in the casinos, the mall on the strip, the outlets and elsewhere. The weather was nice for sandals in the day and pumps at night. No one made any comments, but I did get a few looks and smiles - from both guys and gals.
Had a nice time, and the ability to wear heels openly was an added pleasure!!!
Take care all, Merry Christmas!!! sf
Hey, SF, you have a new avatar photo. What are the sandals you're wearing in it? They look great and I could wear those anywhere. Are they new? Brand and style?
Glad you had a nice time in Nevada and got some public heeling in. Too cold for sandals in Ohio now, sorry to say.

Inquisitor,
If I may be critical in a constructive way, your leg skin appears very dry and scaly. You really owe it to yourself to take better care of it. It's especially bad in winter, no doubt, due to the dry air. Go to a drug store and buy Lac-Hydrin Five, a skin cream sold over the counter. It's expensive but has alpha hydroxy which works wonders to moisturize scaly skin, cracked heels, and other skin problems. My dermatologist cousin recommended it to me years ago and it's fantastic.
Disclaimer: I don't have anything to do with the company that makes it. I just love the product for its performance. You will, too.
And, nice heels. I like all of them. Too bad about the fit of the JS ones. Enjoy the others.

Glad you had fun and lived to tell about it! LOL

So, W6ish...how did the rest of the evening go?

Fantastic experience W6, and thanks for sharing. If you had been timid, that never would have happened. Nice outcome! Makes all the butterflies in the stomach seem worthwhile!
My guess is that the woman was not only attracted to your heels and your good looks, but to your confidence as well! Women think confidence is sexy.

Well said, Histiletto. Women can wear whatever they want, because they do. Men can't wear whatever they want (or at least they think that) because they don't dare.

TBG,
Thanks but I'll pass on the 1988 KA dishwasher. We already have one of those and found out there are no parts available. So we're faced with buying a new one, too. Not sure if the wife would settle for a used one, even at $2! LOL But thanks for the offer!

My wife is taller than I am, by three inches or so, which is another great reason for me to wear heels!
She buys from the three sources JeffB mentioned above, and wears some really elegant clothes. Her shoe size, sadly is an 11N, whereas I am a 12M, so we don't share shoes. Darn!
