  1. I have just purchased a new pair of peeptoe boots which i totally adore.  the problem is the heel is leaning inwards at an angle.

Is it possible that this will go away after being worn a few times or will it need to be fixed.  I dont really fancy sending them back as it will cost a fortune in postage from the UK back to China.  there is also no other similar style available in my size. I was looking for a long time to find a pair like these to fit me  as they are they are ok to walk in and they do not feel strange to walk in or try to buckle from under me.

  2. My peeptoe boots arrived from China today.  My feelings about them are mixed.

They are absolutely wonderful to wear and walk in dispite the 3.75'' heel.  I prefer to wear them with thin nylon pop socks or bare footed.

The only problem is the heel itself.  When on the ground it looks as if it has had around half an inch chopped off as you can see in the photos.  Is this going to be a problem or will the problem heal itself and go away.

I dont really want to send them back as it will cost a small fortune for postage from the UK back to China.  I really love them and they are also very comfortable. The problem is that there are no other peeptoe boots available in my size with a block heel around 3.5 inch.  Is it possible that the heel could be extended?

Hello KrazyKev I really do like the PeepToe heels that you posted the picture of, I am curious as to who makes them and if they are still available. The booties you are wearing are nice as well.

Here is the link for the peeptoes.  they are as far as i know unbranded.  im still waiting for them to arrive.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322194163045?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=511100656148&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

this is the link to the boots im wearing at the moment.  take not that the sizings are not true.  regard the UK sizes as being US sizes.  im a UK10 and i had to order a UK12 as they are 2 sizes smaller than stated.

  4. I am now wearing heels on a regular basis for everyday wear.  they are nothing too high or girly, just a pair of plain black boots with a 2.75'' block heel that i got from China on ebay.  well i have now ordered a pair of peeptoe open back boots with a 3.75'' block heel as these wont be as warm and make my feet smell.  i just have to wait for them to arrive from China.  Worn with a pair of bootleg jeans i dont think they stick out too much.

I also like others wear heels to ease my lower back pain and i also find the lack of pain amazing

Here are the peeptoes im waiting for.  i cant wait to venture out to the shop wearing them.  any recommendations if to wear barefoot, with black nylons or thin black socks.

    As for peoples thoughts. D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F

I concur that the sizing of Chinese heels leaves something to be desired on. It's like they still practice footbinding or something.

Very true indeed. My late wife was a seamstress and the amount of people who had ordered stuff from China and asked for items to be altered is unbelievable.  The problem is that you cannot make something bigger.  It cost more to reuturn the item back to china that what the customer paid for it in the first place

I find that if you order size 12uk shoes from China they are more a size 10uk.  My boots were sold as a uk12 but fit my uk10 feet perfectly.  They are stated as being 28.5cm long.

I also like the fact that i was not charged any import duties.  The boots were not even shipped under the global shipping programme

  6. Hi Danvan.  Like you i have found that wearing heels cures my back pain.  the secret to overcoming the shyness to go public is just do it. first thing to do is buy some new jeans with leg lengths a few inches longer to allow for the high heel.

Pick a boot or shoe with a block heel avoiding pairs with frilly girly parts.  you want a plain looking pair that are not easily noticed.

below is a pic of my boots that have a 2.75 inch heel.  To be honest i dont think anybody even notices i am wearing heels.

the problem comes during summer months when it is warm.  it might be a good idea to invest in a pair of peeptoe boots like the picture below again avoiding girly looking pairs.  azz21254_ms.jpgDSCF0445.JPG

  7. i normally wear extreme heels for charity walks but after i spent a whole month in a pair of 4 inch platforms and found out that heels helped releave the pain in my back i decided to do a bit of hunting around for some masculine looking heels.  i now where a pair of boots with a 2.75'' block heel on a daily basis, normally with jeans.  what i would really like is a pair of peeptoe boots that are not very girly looking for summer wear but finding a pair of uk10 is not very easy.  I have come across a pair but im not too keen on them.  below are pictures of my current heels as well as the peeptoe boots i have seen.  whats the opinions on the peeptoe boots

  8. At long last I have started to wear heels on a daily basis.  I found them on ebay but I had to order them from China.  Here is the link

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291550584242?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=590605300154&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The sizing is not accurate.  I took this into account when ordering.  I take a UK10 but ordered a UK12. They fit perfectly.  They are also quiet wide around the ankle

I find them extremely comfortable although they could do with a little extra insole padding.  i normally wear them with thin socks

or 80 denier pop socks.  im now thinking of ordering another pair as i like them so much.

The block heel is an ideal height for wearing for long periods as they are only 2.75 inches.

I have had no funny looks or comments at all as they do not look very feminine.  They go well with a pair of jeans

  9. I think i may of posted this in the wrong section.

never before have i had bruising to my feet while walking in heels.  at the worst i have only suffered from blisters.  if you take a look at the photos you will most likely wonder how the hell i can stand with such extensive bruising let alone walk.  whats even more amazing is that i aint even got a limp.

what i would like to know is why did the bruising appear and what caused it

  10. On 27 august 2016 I attempted to walk 5 miles in a pair of 7 inch stiletto courts with a 2 inch platform to raise money for Macmillan nurses.

Well I'm sad to anounce that I failed.  What happened is that one of the heels was flexing to the side making it impossible for me to walk in them.  In total I covered just under 4 miles and I was going well until the problem happened.  At first I thought is was my legs as they were starting to feel like jelly.

I believe that my deceased mother and my late wife were looking down on me and made this happen to prevent further injury.  I have done plenty of high heel walks over the years but have never taken a battering like i did on this one.

None of my normal shoes fit me as my left foot is very swollen.  All I can get on my feet are my sandals and my ugg boots.  The strange this is that i can still walk OK without a limp although my foot is tender to touch.  The grazed knee is no problem at all

One good thing to come from the walk is that i exceeded my target of £500

  11. For a comparison i have just slipped on my Pleaser divine 415 heels (3 inch) after wearing the 7 inch green heels for a few hours around the house.

The feel and difference is vast.  They actually feel like flat shoes LOL.  To be honest they dont even feel if they have a heel at all.

It will be just 7 weeks this coming saturday till my 5 mile charity walk.  Its going to be a killer walk

  12. Since i had delivery of the heels i have been practicing around the home to get used to the difference in height.  up until i got the heels the highest effective height i had walked in was only 4.25 inches but these are higher at 5 inches. the extra 0.75 inch is easily noticeable and makes a huge difference.

at first i found it a little difficult to walk in them without bending my knees but i have now overcome this problem.  i have also found them a little more comfortable wearing thin pop socks instead of fishnets so i have decided that i will wear footless fishnets with thin pop socks.

im really looking forward to doing this walk as it means so much to me.  this walk is in memory of my mother and i owe a lot to Macmillans for caring for my mother in the final stages of her life.  anybody who has ever seen a cancer victim in their final stages will know how harrowing it is for the family.  it is the most painful experience i have ever been through.

after this walk i dont know what my next challenge will be.  i have found my maximum distance which is around 13 miles or a half marathon.  i have yet to find my maximum effective height but i think i might be able to manage an extra half inch or possibly 6 inch.  how far i could walk in them would be a different matter.  as for how long i could wear heels for i know that i can easily wear a 3 inch heel all day every day.  i find duration depends on the fit of the actual shoes.

Wow, that is very impressive. Thanks for sharing some of the adventures of you in your heels!!!

The heels in my avatar are amazingly comfortable.  I wore them every day for 31 days at least 8 hours per day.  The only exception was if I was driving.  During the month, I wore them barefooted, with sports socks as well as pop socks or stockings (as in avatar) and I found them very easy to walk in.  The only problem I had is that the straps buckle elastic snapped so I repaired them using stronger elastic.

I would love to be able to afford a pair of boots with a 3 to 3.5 inch block heel. Something like this one would be ideal.  The problem is getting a boot that will fit me

  14. I have walked in various heights

5 miles in a pair of 7.5 inch block heels with a 4 inch platform.  10 miles in 6 inch stiletto heels with a 1.75 inch platform.  done a half marathon in a pair of 4 inch block heels with a 1 inch platform and i also wore the same shoes every day for a whole month wearing hem for at leas 8 hours per day. they are the heels I'm wearing in my avatar

in august i am walking 5 miles in a pair of 7 inch stilettos with a 2 inch platform.

if you asked me which i would chose to wear on a daily basis i would say around 3.5 inch elevation with a block heel for stability

I have size UK 10 feet

  15. on 27th august 2016 i am doing a 5 mile high heel walk for charity.

It takes place in Swansea south Wales.  The walk is from the Civic centre to Mumbles pier which is a lovely walk with wonderful scenery.

This is a great chance for other heelers to just join in or maybe do some fundraising for a charity of their own choice.  it is also a fantastic chance for the shy heelers to get out and strut their stuff and have some fun.  the walk will take around 4 to 5 hours.  there is a cafe at mumbles pier to have a cup of tea and a snack.

If you wonder if i wonder what people think im sure the photos will convince you.  I'm not exactly trying to hide my heels.  To be honest the public are absolutely fantastic.

PM me if you fancy joining in

  16. This challenge replaces my heeling hearts challenge.  The reason is that I recently lost my mother to cancer so I have decided to fundraise for Macmillan nurses again.

The challenge will involve me walking 5 miles in a pair of 7 inch stiletto courts. They have a 2 inch platform meaning they are in effect a pair of 5 inch heels.  This is technically the highest heels I have ever walked in.  I am lucky that the heels actually have a nice snug fit.  I do find them very challenging to walk in though meaning that I spend a lot of time walking round the house in them to get used to them. Below is a close up of the shoes as well as me in the outfit I will be wearing on the walk.

I originally wanted a pair of peep-toe or sling-back peep-toes but they were not available in green.  The shoes were provided by a company called noo shoes http://www.nooshoes.co.uk/shop/  Their prices are extremely low compared to other companies and their sizes start from size UK9 up to 13.  They also do a couple of flat sandals and ballerina pumps but most of the footwear they sell are court shoes.  What I find odd is most of them have 7 inch heels with a 2 inch platform although they do have 1 or 2 5 inch heels with small or no platform.  It's also worth noting that all the shoes they sell are sized with men in mind

The challenge will take place on 27 August 2016 and will be 5 miles long. walking along the seafront from the Civic centre in Swansea to Mumbles pier.  Again I will be carrying a collection bucket.  I also have a fundraising page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mumsheels

I have also got a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/heelsformum/?ref=bookmarks

As yet I'm undecided if I should wear full fishnets or footless fishnets with thin pop socks to stop rubbing.  There is no way I will attempt to walk in them barefooted because I will end up with some bad blisters.  I made this mistake back in 2010.

If there are any heelers in the Swansea area on the day feel free to walk with me and give your support.  WARNING:  Be prepared for the pain LOL

  17. There has been a big change of plan regarding this challenge.  recently i have lost my mother to cancer and have therefore postponed the event to a later date.

in its place will be a different challenge involving a pair of 7 inch stiletto heels.  the challenge is called ''Heels for Mum'' and will take place on the 27 aug 2016

  18. Just reading this has reminded me that my only transport is a semi auto Honda C70 (AKA Passport in the USA).

I think the problem will be starting it as there is no electric start.

Next year i am doing another charity challenge where i will be wearing a pair of 3 inch stilettos for 132 days.  this means i will be riding my bike with them on so i will let you know how i get on.  my biggest worry will be getting my foot stuck between the footrest and the rear brake.

The current trend of full auto scooters present no problems at all even if you were wearing a pair of 8 inch heels as you put your feet on a running board.  both front and rear brakes are hand operated and most models have electric start
