delivery is in progress according to the tracking number but they are still in China.

My heels from china arrived today but there is a problem.  they sent me the wrong item.  they sent me a pair of NIKE trainers instead. im just waiting to hear back from them so i can return them.  i think this is a genuine mistake as there is a lot of difference between a stiletto peeptoe boot and a trainer.  Nice trainers though.

i think the seller is honest but what impressed me is the speed of delivery.  in the past i have had to wait nearly 6 weeks for an order to arrive.  these took just 12 days.  i will of course let you know what happens

  2. i love peeptoe boots.  they can be platform or single sole or stiletto or chunky heel.  my ideal elevation is around 3 or 3.5 inches.  they can have open or closed

leather would be the prefered material

i am still waiting for this pair to arrive.  hopefully they fit me well

  3. Here is another UK based company.  They only sell size UK9 TO 13 heels.  Most have a 7'' inch stiletto with a 2'' platform but they do sell a couple of flats as well as a 5''

The quality is very good and the price is also very good.  Its where I got the green heels for my 5 mile charity walk.  They dont have many choices but what they do sell is very nice especially if you like courts / pumps.  The sizing is especially for men and true to size (for me anyway)

As I commented on a previous thread,

there's something a bit odd about this website. Despite its.co.uk domain name there's some evidence that the company is actually in China. Look at the CN that appears in the registration details here: http://www.scamner.com/check/just4birminghamjobs.co.uk

If you look at their shiiping and tracking page, it suggests they aren't in the UK. http://www.just4birminghamjobs.co.uk/-ezp-15.html

if you decide to order from them please let us know how you get on.

just placed an order for a pair of two lips peeptoe boots from the above site.  i will keep you informed of the progress

  5. I have just placed an order for a pair of lovely stiletto peeptoe boots.

They are made by Two Lips and were on offer at £47.29 + postage. The heel is 4.5'' inches with a 0.75'' platform

Lets hope the supplier is a honest company to deal with as some peeps are suspicious.  I will let you know how i get on.

  6. Although I first wore heels in public back in August 2009, up until August 2016 it was just for charity.

Only during the last couple of months have i started to wear heels everday. i have a few i can choose from but i normally wear my boots or peeptoe sandal boots.

idont care if people star or grin at me and they can say what they want.  i dont care and i dont get embarresed in any way.  nothing is going to put me off wearing my heels in public.

I have ventured into all sorts of places. pubs, clubs, shops and even a busy builders merchant. I cant wear my heels to work as im a gardener but my business partner is also a singer and i set up his equipment so i also wear my heels when my mate has a gig.

  7. i only used to wear heels in public for charity functions.

recently i have decided to start wearing them all the time.  like you i have a liking for peeptoe boots.  i think they are fantastic.

try not to wear them with any form of sock or nylon.  they feel so nice on the foot when worn bare footed.  personally i try and wear all footwear bare footed as i think a lot of footwear especially heels feel so much more comfortable.  if your feet start getting too warm use some foot powder. personally its a crime to ware open toe footwear with any form of foot covering.  if you really need to wear nylons then wear a clear nude colour that is not easily noticed.  i dont use nail varnish though.

i admire your courage to try on heels at the local store.  i dont have the chance of doing this as there is nowhere that sell my size.  i dont care what people think when i walk around in my heels.  i dont normally get embarresed by what people say.  its the people who expreess their thoughts with violence that i dont like but if they want to try it on with me they are welcome to have a go.  they will be in for a shock

  8. As we all know it is not very easy to buy womens shoes, especially heels in sizes larger than a UK10 (US11 & EU43)

If you know of a supplier let us all know.  dont post up a picture.  All we need to know are the following details

maximum size. country of origin. and most importantly, their website details

I will start you all off with one I recently found that i intend to purchase from.  I will let you know how i get on

They stock sizes up to UK11 and are UK based.  It seems as if they sell discount designer brands

Why not? If synchronised drowning can be a televised event, why shouldn't the mastery of high heels? It would certainly be talked about a lot more than a good many of the really rather obscure sports in the Olympics, no doubt attracting large and curious crowds, and the visuals could be really good.

I am liking the image of a superheavyweight weightlifter in specially strengthened  Louboutins lurching forward, tottering towards the judges' table in six inch heels, with 264 kilos held over his head in the clean-and-jerk. The terror on the judges' faces - priceless. For everything else there is MasterCard.

i like the idea of a bloke doing the 100 metres in 4 inch heels....on a sandy beach.  dont think many people man or woman could run a marathon in heels.  i walked a half marathon in 4 inch platforms and i was in agony.  it was as much i could do to stand let alone walk

  10. I managed to find a site that sell plenty of large size heels upto a size UK11. i have been hunting for a good pair of peeptoe boots / sandals for a while but managed to find these all under £50 and available in size UK11.

I really love the feeling of peeptoe boots on my feet.  They also look so sexy especially with a pair of tight fitting jeans

  11. I have been searching everywhere to try and find a cheap pair of UK10 peeptoe boots but what i do find is normally way above my price range of £35-£40.  i want either a block heel with no platform from 3 to 3.5 inch or 4.5 inch with a platform.  i would also consider a slim heel. below is a selection of styles that i like but i would consider others.

new or second hand would be OK

  12. Im well happy. My new lace up platform boots arrived today which by Chinese standards is very fast.

As normal I had to order a UK12 instead of UK10 due to the inaccurate Chinese sizing.  Luckily for me they fit fantastic.  They are very easy to walk in considering the heel is 4.75'' inches with a 1.25'' inch platform.  Im not liking the 2 straps that much and i might cut them off.

As yet i cannot decide how to wear them.  I could put my jeans over the boot or I could wear a pair of skinny fit jeans and put them on the inside of the boot.  They are comfortable with nylon knee highs and also bare footed.  Normal socks would need to be quiet thin.  I am still on the look out for a nice pair of peeptoe boots since returning the pair that was a tight fit.  They need to have a block heel around 2.75'' to 3.5 inch or up to 4.75 with a platform sole.  I might also consider a slim heel like my new lace up boots.  Largest size seems to be around a UK8 or 9 unless I want to pay a fortune

  13. My new platform Oxfords have finally arrived from China.  I must say that I love them although they are slightly tighter fitting than my boots which are the same size and from the same supplier.  I think they will eventually stretch to size.

I cant wait until i can go down to my local Tesco try try them out.  They have a 4.5 inch heel and a 1.25'' platform so they arew easy to walk in especially as they have a bit of flex in the sole.

They feel lovely on my feet when wearing nylons or bare foot.  As with most footwear from China the sizing is a little larger than the true size.  A UK12 is more like a UK10.  Hopefully my new platform boots will arrive from China in the next 7 to 10 days

If the length shown for the size stated is accurate, they will be under-sized!   The claimed UK12/Eu47 would be more like a UK10/Eu44 if truly 28.5mm - but I hope for your sake that I'm wrong.   Let us know if they fit you.

You are correct.  if you take UK10 then order a size UK12. They will then fit perfect.  the width is rather wide as well.  i have ordered from this seller in the past and the boots are great.  Im currently waiting for a pair of shoes as well as the boots to arrive from the seller.  Shame they were not available in a couple of sizes larger.  will keep you updated when my new heels arrive

  15. if i wear boots i will wear knee highs but if i wear my peep toes i will go barefoot or agin wear pop socks if its a little cold outside.

on the other hand if its cold and i want to wear my peeptoes then i will wear a pair of invisible knee highs.

the strange thing is that i have even started to wear a thicker pair of knee highs with my normal mens shoes as i find them more comfortable

  16. I wish I could buy my heels locally but the largest size in the local shops is normally UK8 and I need a UK10 or 11.  I would not think twice about trying on in the shop but due to lack of local suppliers I order online, normally via Chinese suppliers where I need to go up to a UK12 or 28.5cm
