  1. Hi Krazykev,

I think I see what you are asking. I voted 6inch, male, without stockings as this is me in a nutshell.

I must comment thought that I truely believe as averages go - women will out perform men in a competition of this sort because they as a gender have much greater flexibility in their feet - namely their arch - hence they can wear higher heels (relative to their foot size) than men. You can't walk properly in your heels if you can't stand on your tippee toes when wearing your heels - and lift your heel of your by about an extra inch off the ground. If you don't have this extra flex you are going to tire - and you couldn't walk down hill or have the flex to absorb normal daily walking obstructions that we take for granted but most men won't notice bcause they don't cruise around in heels every day- all day.

With respect to the comments of women in general having a different walk - this might be also due to their attire - high heels and skirts - rather than just their physiological differences. Men don't wear skirts so we haven't had our walking stride shortened because of pencil skirts, and similarly because of wearing very high heels you need a shorter stride. Over time the walk as a result of such attire could become habit.

With respect to a competition what might distort our perspective is that most men here - are by their nature high-heel afficianados (hope I spelt that right) - so we are biased and motivated and/or experienced wearers. If you pitted non-experienced heel-wearers, men vs women, I believe the women would clean-up such a contest. Even still a competition would be fun.

    Enough ramblings from me

    Cheers

    Heel-Lover

the first time i ever walked in high heels was when i done my 5 mile walk for charity wearing a pair of 7.5'' sandals the same as my avatar (its me in the avatar) i did not have a clue at first if i was even going to complete the walk as i never realised how high the heels were and it was my very first time wearing any height of heel. anyway i found that after about half a mile into the walk i was developing a rhythm. it only took me half an hour to complete the first mile. in august 2010 i am doing a 10 mile walk wearing PLEASER DELIGHT 609 LN'S which have a 5.75'' stiletto heel and a 1.75 platform. as they are a different type of shoe i dont know as yet if i will complete the walk. i do on the other hand expect to develop a rhythm like the 5 mile walk:-?:cry1:
  2. the idea of the poll having 3 choices is that you pick the size you want to do the challenge in. then your sex. then if you would prefer to wear stockings or not. take me for example. i would do the challenge in 6 inch heels. im male and i prefer no tights or stockings. at the end of the poll three of the answers would have the same amount of votes

  3. i have often wondered if men can easily walk in high heels as a woman. one thing i am puzzled about is exactly what is high: i say its anything 4 inches and above. i am interested in setting a challenge to any women or other men who may be interested in challenging a woman or women in walking around in high heels for a whole day from 9am to 6pm just to see who last the longest or moans the least. maybe we can just keep on walking until we drop but i reacon just walking around shops as a group would be a more realistic target. i have posted a picture showing different size heels and platforms from 4'' heel to 7.5'' heel. i feel that i could do it in all of them with the exception of maybe 2 pairs (numbers 3 & 6). so come on everybody who is interested in having a little shopping trip in swansea. the pavements are a mix of all sorts of surfaces including a few holes. if there is a particular pair of heels you would like me to wear then im a size 10. bring down a pair of them each and we will see what happens. there is one basic rule. each pair of man and woman wears the same heels. let me know if you are interested in this challenge. also fill in the poll if you want to and what heel height to want to challenge the opposite sex to walk in. dont forget to say if male or female as well

  4. i take a UK 9 or 10 depending on who makes the shoe. if i wear a pleaser shoe then i go for a 10. pleaser shoes go up to size UK 14 so i wont have bother finding shoes that fit. please note that i ONLY wear heels when raising money for charity. i find this method of fund raising works well.

  5. My pick in my preferred order.....

    candy 09

    kiss209

    delight 609

    delight 667

    lip 109

    seduce 208

They are all very nice heels.........Very good choice.....

As for walking 16Ks in them , I don't know .........I'll try it one day...

I have already done 5 miles in 7.5'' platforms (about 8kms). it was easy and it was also my very first time in heels of any sort or height. just to let you know it was the heels in my avatar that i walked the 5 miles in:smile::cry1::smile::wave:
  6. Hi all. i have decided to round up the final results of the 5 polls i have been running on various forums. i would like to give a big thank you to all voters and also wish everyone a happy new year. The final results are 1st SEDUCE 208 - 101 VOTES 2nd DELIGHT 667 - 78 VOTES 3rd KISS 209 - 65 VOTES 4th LIP 109 - 65 VOTES 5th CANDY 09 - 59 VOTES 6th DELIGHT 609 - 37 VOTES This gives a total of 403 votes across 5 forums. it is because a bargain cropped up that i decided to buy a variation of the DELIGHT 609 called the 609LN which i payed £25 for a pink pair. if the SEDUCE 208 had a padded insole i would of gone for a pair without doubt as they have great ankle support much like the DELIGHT 667. anyway i will post some pics when i recieve the order in the new year. Many thanks K K:smile::cry1::smile::wave:

  7. i am in the proceeds of organising a charity walk in heels to raise money for cancer research. it will be 10 miles so will not be what you would call a sunday stroll but it is a safe and easy walk as its all smooth tarmac. i have walked the route one way in a pair of 7.5'' platforms with no problems (see my avatar) and it was also my first ever time in heels so if i can do it then anyone with experience should find it easy. if you are interested then send me a pm so i can keep you informed . the walk is in Swansea South Wales and i have set a provisional date for 21 aug 09. i will be wearing a pair of pink 5.75'' stiletto sandals which i have posted a picture of. the only condition of the walk is that everyone wears pink from head to toe including heels if possible although white will be ok. the event is based around the idea that both male and female suffer from cancer and the walk should be as much fun as possible so fancy dress would be another great idea. PS what heels would you intend to wear? higher the better. you do after all want visual impact:smile::cry1::smile:

  8. Now this is getting interesting. boots and shoes are neck and neck and 5'' is way ahead of the pack. in the summer i rarely wear shoes and never boots unless im fishing. in the summer i love my sandals as i love the feel of the wind between my toes and always barefoot even in shoes. oh by the way i only wear heels for fundraising because IT WORKS :cry1:

  9. WALKING IN HEELS FOR CHARITY - PUTTING THE 'HE' INTO HEELS I am in the proceeds of organising a sponsored walk to take place in the UK to raise money for the Cancer Research UK charity. The walk will be 10 miles long and take place along the seafront path at Swansea South Wales. This is a safe route as there is minimal dangers except for a chance of a bit of sand that may of blown up during windy sessions. I have walked this route one way to complete a 5 mile walk in 7.5'' platforms and I had no problems and I had also never walked in heels beforehand. It was great fun and a lovely walk as well. The scenery is great. It would be a great opportunity for the shy heel wearers to walk in public knowing that they have the full support of the public. I had a fantastic response from the public on a previous fundraiser with no problems at all. It would be great if all men wore pink from head to toe as that is the colour of the charity. I would expect the walk to take around 8 hours taking it slowly. 5 miles took me 3.5hrs. There are toilets around every 2.5 miles. You will see that I have posted a modified photo. This is the beach that the walk is at. The steps are at the start point and the arrow points to Mumbles pier. This is 5 miles away so you then walk back to the start giving a total of 10 miles. If anyone is interested in taking part send me a private message along with any details that you want to know. A provisional date has been set for August 21st 2010. Hope to see lots of people and their heels. :cry1::smile::wave: KRAZY KEV

  10. Oh in case you are wondering the heels are actually quiet easy to walk in and reasonably comfortable considering they dont have padded insoles. even after 5 miles i only suffered 3 small blisters. there was no signs of any aching joints or muscles which surprised me. i believe they are now discontinued as i have seen them for sale for as little as £30. one word of advice is that they are better with stockings or tights as they will stick to your feet like glue because the inner lining is shiny PVC

  11. I think the shoes will be just fine on their own Kev and very well done as my mum died from breast cancer when I was 6 years old.

Let us know how it goes and how much money you made for the charity. :cry1:

im so sorry to hear that. my wife has had cancer 3 times. im doing the walk for her next year. high heels are a good way of raising money as they make something simple like walking just a bit harder. anyone can put on their heels and join me if they want to. the walk takes place in south wales in swansea along the cycle path on the sea front
  12. Hi. i have just ordered a pair of PINK PLEASER DELIGHT 609LN platform stiletto sandals that i intend to wear while doing a 10 mile sponsored walk to raise money for cancer research. the whole idea is to attract so much attention to myself that there will be a high chance that someone may crash their car (well not quite that severe but you get the idea). i will of course be wearing pink items of clothing but im stuck for ideas what to wear. i do of course want to show off the heels as they are the main theme idea of the walk. i intend to go bare leg / foot so my feet stay cool. does anyone have any ideas what i should wear. i was thinking along the lines of skirt and cycle shorts with a pink charity t shirt:smile::cry1:

  13. i dont make a habit of walking around in heels at home or outside. pink happens to be a colour i hate. on the other hand pink can be used to good effect in the right situation. for example in august next year (2010) i have organised to walk a 10 MILE sponsored walk to raise money for cancer research. i will be wearing pink from head to toe including a very high pair of pink stiletto sandals as seen in the picture i have posted. as you can clearly see it is rather girly and not really a mans colour. at the end of the day its up to the individual what colour they wear. i am going to set up a new thread to get an idea of what to wear with the pink sandals. my wife says pink trousers but i say pink skirt and cycle shorts underneath with bare legs and feet. i do after all want to get a bit of attention as i will be fundraising. as the heels are the main theme of the walk they need to be easily seen.:cry1::smile::wave::smile:

  14. just ordered a pair of DELIGHT 609LN's they are the same as the red pair in the picture but are pink with a white stripe round the soles and heels. lets hope they are comfortable, fit ok and are up to a 10 mile hike. i will send pictures to the forum when available. thanks for your help and advice. i had to go for the pair i just ordered as they were in a sale. only £25 at www.exoticdancewear.co.uk

  15. i am hoping that someone can advise me about heel tips. i am due to buy a pair of PLEASER DELIGHT 609 stiletto heels that i intend to wear to do a 10 mile sponsored walk. can anyone tell me how many miles a pair of heel tips will last on this style. would it be advisable to change them for steel tips. i done a 5 mile walk in a pair of PLEASER XTC 826 and the standard heels (chunky) hardly showed any signs of wear at all. any help will be appreciated:unsure::cry1::unsure::wave:

  16. I think i have just found a bargain at £25 +p&p for a pair of Pleaser DELIGHT 609LN:smile::cry1::smile: I have now decided that i am going to go against peoples choices as a very good bargain has cropped up. i have since found out that the DELIGHT 609 is available in pink and it is known as the DELIGHT 609LN. i can get a pink pair of size 10UK for £25 +p&p which is a too good a bargain to reach as they normally retail for around £50 a pair. i thank everyone for their input and i will post a picture of me wearing them when they arrive in the post.
