  1. I have some nice UGGS sandals, knee boots and some mules. Uggs do make some nice heeled footwear, but mostly those ugly ones. I would never be caught wearing a pair of those crocs no matter how many of those celebrities endorse them

  2. Nice to hear that you saw a lady in heels. On Easter Sunday, I noticed a lot of the ladies in heels in church and shopping at the supermarket after. I would venture to guess that more then 50-60% of the ladies were in heels and dressed in their Easter finery. The church was packed considering the max of 50% capacity for Covid rules. Our church holds more than 1,000 people and there was at least 500 there so again I'm guessing maybe 200 or more women in heels. I probably was the only guy wearing heels, a pair of Naturalizer pumps, "Whitney Black Brocade" black with gold, red and blue trim. They have 3-1/2" chunky heels, which is a standard heel height for me. They went great with my natural color suit coat and tan pants, turquoise color dress shirt and co-ordinated tie, I did get a couple of compliments on my ensemble from the ladies.

  3. I'm totally different to you  RonC. I love wearing patent leather shoes and boots in public. I have them in black, red, white, blue, orange and green. The other day on St. Patrick's Day, I wore my green patent leather booties with black leggings with green shamrocks on them. A kelly green fleece top completed my ensemble. Got several compliments from the ladies, too.

  4. I think that you guys that are saying you don't see many women wearing heels anymore are not in the right places. A few weeks ago I attended a church funeral for a deceased 61 year women, who was in the real estate business. It was a crowded church and I saw that social distancing was not being observed but masks were being worn. In spite of the fact it was snowing outside, maybe 1" on the pavement, I saw many women wearing either heeled boots, booties and pumps. Many were wearing stiletto heels. Being the deceased was a professional woman,  90% of the attendees were very sharply dressed including the men in suits. There wasn't one pair of Ugg boots or sneakers there.

I was impressed with the dress code, at the funeral. As I attend church every Sunday and I do see women wearing heels and many are dressed nice, but not all. I do wear heels every Sunday, mostly booties this time of year. Many check me out to see what footwear, I'm wearing each Sunday.  I do get some compliments on my heels like yesterday when a woman said, "I like your boots". I was wearing a pair of blue patent booties with a 3" chunky heel. They were definitely visible as I don't cover my heels with extra long pants.

  5. Last week I went to my salon for a Valentines mani. My nail teck who is a real pro, did a fantastic job. I got clear gel over a base coat of very light pink on all my nails. Then she added some nail art to my little pinkies. On my right pinkie, red glitter coat with the love symbols XO painted in a bright red, followed with an envelope outline also in bright red. On my left pinkie a coat of white with a red heart, with an attached chain also in red. She told me the theme was "Love Letter From The Heart" All the other women at the salon had to see my art work. Lots of compliments from them and others that saw my mani over the Valentines Day holiday. BTW, I also got compliments at the salon for my ensemble I wore. Red sweater, with black leggings with red and white hearts on them, with my Easy Spirit "Evolve" black knee boots. I also wore a red mask with a white heart on it.

    Great day at my salon!

  6. I get a monthly pedi during warm weather months. In the winter my toes are not on display so it's usually  longer. I need one now, but I'm waiting a while yet. As far as mani's go about once a month except some times I go to get an update on my little pinkies when I want to change the look. Sometimes I do the work on my little pinkies myself and when I want a real professional job, go to the salon where my gal is a fantastic artist.

  7. I've been getting pedi's for years. I don't get gel on my toes, just acrylics which as Cali said is much easier to remove. I get clear gel mani's with colors or artwork on my little pinkies in acrylic. As far as my toes go it's mostly reds and fuchsia for October and Breast Cancer Awareness month, Since  I wear a lot of sandals in the summer I like the look of my colored toes. I get lots of compliments from the ladies and sometimes men too, on my pedi's. Sometimes my wife and I will get the same color.

  8. I have to agree with Cali 100%. In my area there's not a day that goes by that I don't see ladies wearing heels. Whether its for work, play, shopping  or  church there are ladies and myself that are out in heels in our daily routines. Thanks Cali for that imput.

  9. I always submit reviews on new shoes. I always add to my review that I'm a male that likes to wear heels. Wearing heels is a part of my lifestyle. On Amazon they are always published the way I write them. Aerosoles and Nine West and Naturalizer usually publish my reviews, however Penny's doesn't among others publish unless I leave out the line about me being a male that likes to wear heels. They must be very conservative!
