So, trying these out with a pair of ballet boots. I just trimmed the heels to level things out. Last time I tried this was 11 years ago. My last try was with a pair of pointe shoes inside the ballet boots to support my foot.

I am a little out of practice, and my test walk today was not as good as that video. I think with a little tweak for fit I think this setup should work well.

  2. Well, someone who looked like he runs up larger bar tabs then I make in a year asked if they had any heels in men’s 12 when he saw me trying on a pair. Maybe I planted the seeds of another convert :)

He said something about “if my wig is willing to put up with the discomfort, I should give them a try”

  3. So, got invited to a charity event at the Miami Louboutin boutique (sals guy loves me even though I’ve never purchased a pair there). I’m in the area so figured I’d try the Pigalle 120’s and see how much better I’m doing in 5” heels. Turns out the event is hosted by Orianne Collins, wife of Phil. Might be posting a pic with me in 4” heels boots with famous people later today :P

@jeremy1986 they are very comfortable! I prefer something over 6 inches. My girlfriend bought them for me when we were strolling the mall. Im thinking of doing heels in a suit, white shirt and tie. This website is opening doors for me. I just haven't really figured out how to navigate this site yet...where would you suggest I post pictures for my next idea?

Yes, they are 4.5 inches! =)

Having a pair of practical heels you can live in is not a bad thing. I look forward to hearing how well you do figuring out how you like to match heels to clothes.

Was out Saturday afternoon and evening shopping.   I know this will be a huge shock to you guys,,,,,,,,,, I’m not in a skirt and heels!!!!  Can you believe it!   I have a men’s black shirt, a silver sleeveless Wolford bodysuit, Lululemon leggings, black boot socks and Sorel Joan of Arctic wedge ankle boots.  All great compliments on my outfit and boots everywhere I went!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes Sorel wedges :)

I wore mine all over Walt Disney World when friends came to visit, and did not have a single issue.

They are size 8. The previous owner said she had them custom made but they came too late for a photo shoot so she hasn't worn them. My wife currently can wear around 5.5 without a platform, though I wouldn't want her to walk in these.

Well, I'd suggest you figure out something she's wanted you to do for a while for her, and plan a night making her feel special, offering these as something 'interesting' for the intimate time, but while making sure your focus is on her, with these being just a little extra spice. :)

Not seen the Bianca boots in round toe option before....mine are all standard pointy toe.

They do look very nice, and the 5.5" heels will give your ankles a good work out.

Tempted by the brown pair myself!

Yea, I have the pointy toe ones, and wore them last night for practice.

  8. Round toe ankle boots with 5.5” heels ordered from sky scrapers clearance page.  Hoping to get used to these so I can wear my thigh boots out.

You look great in those boots! My only suggestion is to wear bootcut pants or jeans so the fabric falls smoothly without bunching up at your ankles. I think it would improve the look and provide more pleasing lines.

I rolled the cuff once more, seems to transition better.

Am thinking of hemming or rolling the cuff so the pants ride the boots better.

I can confirm these shoes are from Italian Heels and still available

I own these shoes and they are confortable and walkable. If you are into extreme heels as I am,you must buy.

    Pierre

How is the sizing for these compared to other shoes from Italian Heels?

  12. Just a heads up, it's usually nice to add a bit more dialog before posting an obfuscated link so people do not think it's a phishing attempt. A lot of people are being trained not to click on links presented as it was in this thread.
