I'm beginning to think we have more gray beards (me included) than not here at HHP.
Yea, October will mark 20 years as a member here >.>

I’m in a trade, and often have to figure out why unfamiliar equipment is not working as it was designed to.

Steve Madden has a couple heeled boots.

it's odd that the prices for mens boots are a lot higher then their womens models.

Maybe one day you will evolve to shorts with stilettos or knee high or both. There's no hiding with shorts and heels.
Yea, I have gotten more surprised looks wearing shorts with heels then with pants.

Awesome! A lot of people have reevaluated their lives and how they want to live it over the last two years. Glad to hear you are in a supportive environment.

I see rockup replied to his post. He should join us too.
Nice story but to not buy something, especially since he loved a couple pair, wasted the sales staff's time.
I’ve not gotten a pair every time I go shopping. It’s -a lot- of money for shoes at those stores.

So, was at a friends 50th birthday last night, among a group with a wide variety of interests. I was wearing a pair of 85mm wedge pumps most of the night, and a few friends commented that they have tried heels, but their feet are killing them within an hour. I tried in vein to explain most shoes marketed toward adult activities do not have the subtle details that provide for longer wear comfort.
Sadly, I wonder how many people have tried uncomfortable heels in private, and decided to forgo trying heels as a style choice.

Was it "good notice" or "bad notice?" As a habitual shorts and heels wearer (though not for a few more months yet), the attention factor does go up somewhat. I cannot wear longer shorts like @Jkrenzer does, because it makes my short legs look even shorter than they are.
Mostly confuse notice. No one was hostile.

Was trying to figure out why these were a little tougher to wear out and about then my other 4” heels, and I now realize these are 110mm/4.5”. I guess that extra half inch is the difference between what I can easily wear outside, or if I have to concentrate on my walking. For now.

Wedge sneakers are meant to be fun and more practical then sexy shoes. I enjoy mine.

New snow boots, the Cloak model from Steve Madden. Over half off right now, they fit snug.

Just got a pair of Schutz Zhara booties. I recommend socks, as the footbed feels funny with stockings.

They'll keep up the pride stuff in other ways. Twittwat is usually the medium of choice for that.
I'm not even sure gays will flock to your business to spend money. A: There's not that many of them to make it worthwhile. And B: Activists don't spend money on the things they demand they want. That is why woke movies flop. Business put up the rainbow flag to avoid bad PR and potentially, like with BLM, to not get burned down by an angry mob. Which is why today we don't have Pride Month but Pride Year fulltime.
Oh God, the only thing worse then a bunch of rainbow activists being angry on behalf on other people (because most of them aren't gay or trans at all, just mental) are the diversity fascists who want to divide us and discriminate against us so they can raise whatever chosen people of the week they want on a shield and parade them around like the white saviors that they feel they are. Which is what this basically is, a white savior complex. More then a century ago these would be the people that would go to Africa to bring civilization to the 'savages', now they are raging on behalf of others.
They can do whatever they want. I won't be giving stations or companies like that a cent of my money unless there is absolutely no other choice. Get woke, go broke! They have the right to virtue signal, I have the right to withhold them my money. Don't give money to people who hate you anyway.
Funny thing is, over here they try to hold up EU countries as being more enlightened. Its interesting to see opinions like yours exist elsewhere, not just the US South.
